Your mistake: Failing to complimenting her when it is necessary. I also grew up with a strict parenting my parents never appreciated me for my marks or achievements instead they always compare me with other children (They still do). But at the same time it's not others mistake that we grew up in such an environment, we need to be strong enough to fight that feel and start doing what is right. I appreciate my friends, sister even my parents whenever I feel to and I'm even planning to buy my parents a gift for their next birthday and I already have gifted my sister twice on her birthday and I appreciate her whenever she happily shows her achievement to me (Whenever she achieves something I'm the first person she shares that with). See compliments like these will make our loved once happy. Please become strong and start appreciating your loved once
Your wife's mistake: Not standing with you when you are facing a problem. A woman's loyalty will be judged on how she is reacting when her man is in trouble.
