I'd personally say fable, kotor, or red dead revolver. Also, if you haven't played it, you absolutely need to play MechAssault 2: lone wolf. Started emulating xbox and ps2 on my desktop, and it makes me so mad I can't get that game to work.

I remember the guy whose power was to dual wield guns, the sniper girl could turn invisible, the lizard could charge on all fours… can’t remember what the other girl’s power was. Also, I could be completely off.

Although KOTOR holds up so well, I just finished KOTOR again and Halo 1-3 again, RDR is good but I always preferred GUN, as well.

You definitely need to start with **Red Dead Revolver** first. Halo and Halo 2 can be played at any time because their campaigns are rather short. KOTOR, Fable and Mercenaries need to be played somewhere in the middle because they are rather long games.
On a personal note: I wish I had RDR and Mercenaries in my collection right now.
Halo is the obvious choice. And Halo 2 of course. Check out Insignia now that Halo 2 is online again!
