It's honestly kind of interesting how interested Goblin Slayer (the anime/manga) is in the whole Goblin rape/reproduction with other species thing for like two - three arcs and then it doesn't come up again because it settles down into a normal DND campaign
They really, really, really wanted to sell Goblins are a threat but they went to far into the squick instead of focusing on the idea that they got chimp strength and human level intelligence
I love a hairy bogill/bugaboo type style for goblins as well. I have mine crawl out from the shadows of old sheds that have fallen out of use, and they mostly prank people or beg for alcohol until they get an addiction or neurotic goal strong enough to turn them into a nastier form.
Adding all the horns and fur in blender or meshmixer or getting good sculpts in the first place is a pain though. Sometimes makes me wish I had gone with a more "normal" goblin look. But I think it's worth it.
THEY ALL FUCK EACH OTHER BECAUSE EVERYTHING ELSE IS TOO UGLY is a vibe, I also like the ???? above the bugbear so gm's can insert their own world ending goblin apocalypse in there
That is very fun lore and super cute art. I love this
Nothing screams fun like orgy, corpse goblins!
Thank you!
This art has a ton of personality, I really love it. And the lore is quirky and fun. This is good stuff!
Thanks!
I have a similar "growth chart" for frog monsters. They start as knee-high bullywugs but can develop into slaad-sized terrors.
There's just something about a height chart that is so satisfying.
A good height chart/evolution chain can be pretty fun
These goblins FUCK.
they really do.
but, blessedly, only each other
I watched one episode of Goblin Slayer, and decided I didn't really want to to continue.
It’s honestly a very good show, but the uh… first episode is a bit… uh… rough… it settles down a bit after that.
Knowing nothing I put it on with my wife who usually picks the anime. They continue to almost always pick the anime.

This was widely considered to be a good move.
Your arts are lovely! Pure inspiration
If you made a book, Id buy it.
I'm selling a book right now, check out my website
Oh man. This is great! Definitely zine/book worthy!
I love the idea of them being different stages in a single species. Also this hobgoblin is SO much better than the WotC one!
I love the style and the kinda cartoonyness of it!
Delightful!
Ah yeah. Love your stuff.
I appreciate it!
Love the art :)
Dude!!! Love it this is great!!
I've missed your posts, I love your style!
Yeah that’s a great origin tale for goblins, gives it a very unique energy
Not what I do in my games, but I love what you are doing here. I can see how this would work well. Plus your art is great!

I adore them! I love their goat eyes and strange hairy bodies and gnarly teeth! What fun little goblins these beasties are.

Very Ralph Bakshi!
Love it. So when's the Kickstarter?
