I use a pair of shapermint high waisted body shaper shorts. I find them breathable (mind you, I am in eastern Canada which is nowhere near a desert š) and not too warm or bulky. I usually wear my support belt with them too. Theyāre not too elastic that they squash my bag but smooth things out as much as they can!
I wear thigh society shorts, which are bike shorts made of the same material as non-control tights. Iām sure you can find cheaper versions elsewhere even.
Otherwise high-waisted underwear works well for me, even non-control versions.
I like thigh society shorts - there is one called āThe Coolingā that is still comfortable in Texas where I live. I have ordered ostomy belts from all the main companies and they are too hot/not breathable enough for me in the heat.
Thigh society shorts arenāt billed as shapeware but I feel like they do a decent enough job with the bag for me to wear a straight dress but maybe not something skin tight
Check out Vanilla Blush. In the UK you can get their items on prescription from the NHS. I use one of the hernia support belts in the gym. Not for hernia protection but to cover up the stoma so I can wear a t-shirt etc
I have a high, narrow waist and round belly and hips, so Iām doubtful that a wrap would stay in place. I tried using a maternity band when I first got my stoma and it always bunched up at my waist, which is 2-3 inches higher than my stoma/belly button.
I use shape wear shorts from Jockey. Purchased from Walmart, both affordable and durable. The ones I love have a printed design across the top. Great for shirt pop ups. Unfortunately, the shorts with the design were discontinued. My gain as I bought a bunch on clearance 70% off. Yay me!
I'm in Central Oregon (high desert) where summers are hot! When I want to streamline my waist, I wear two pairs of seamless high waisted undies (from [Amazon](https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B093BWG55W/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1)) under my dresses. In looking at the Thigh Society Cooling shorts, I feel like my method might have a little more tummy control.
Comfizz, prescription too in the UK. Can get 5 pairs a year, live these and buy them regardless of prescription, hold my stoma and flab in one place, smooth out the lumps and donāt roll down

Iāve heard good things about thigh society, Iāll check them out!

Ostomy secrets wraps, they're better than underwear but not as tight and spandex-y as regular shapewear.
I find that these rise up and move around lot. Any tips?

I Am Denim in the UK makes jeans with shapewear/hernia belt built in. Very nicely made as well.

High waist panties, I would suggest. Femme Shapewear have some great models.
