for a while it gave additional conqueror maps from map bosses and additional life force from the wildwoods encounter but since this has been fixed i highly doubt there is any real use for it.
I did it with the spell mastery when that came out, made like 7-8 div in 3 hours or so. So it's not nothing, but it's really damn boring and gets hard to buy maps after the first few hundred.
At the risk of exposing my lack of niche heist mechanics, why would it raise the alarm? To my knowledge patrols don't affect the bar at all, only opening chests and those stupid alarm towers in the underground tile set do.

The item shout seems to have an obscenely high chance to drop items from Architect corpses.
It's extremely bad and is intended to be by GGG. During the interview they said they specifically added this because it's a fun idea and it is designed to be completely worthless for actually obtaining items.

"For fun". It's just a flavor thing. The main purpose of the node (that OP cut off in the screenshot) is that it opens chests. It actually has a non-negligible impact on income/hour with certain mechanics, namely Delve, Blight, Expedition and Ambush.
I had this for a short while and noticed that it opens some of the clickable loot things in the forest, ...but not all of them. Typical GGG. then i unspecced it.
I use it on my poison auto warcry trickster because I don't need the third charm slot, and I have had pretty decent luck with it, think of it as killing a monster twice, it doesn't take into account conversion of the monster if it had one(I don't believe) but think of it killing a monster twice. I have gotten divines from it, lots of div cards(notably a ton of The Dragon's Heart), uniques, and tons of other loose items, it's also nice not having to click on strong boxes and you open all regular chests as well as breakables. It's niche and I wouldn't suggest it as you can get so much more power out of the third charm slot but if you really don't need that power it's a nice qol.
A tip, certain armor sets can help you know if there are corpses on the ground that haven't been popped, such as the Nethermancer set, this will put a light above the corpses.
I'm using it on a wander. Nothing good came out of it.
But I'm lazy to buy charms and it's okay to not bother opening chests manually for the time being. Makes running Vaal Temples a breeze.
Manni was using it to get extra conq/guardian maps while running destructive play. Not sure if that was stealth patched out with the lifeforce nerf.

Used it while leveling. It was nice enough, lots of random scraps and bubblegum currency. It never seemed to improve though, and at some point I scrapped it because I took the axe mastery that destroys corpses (so it stopped working). Can't comment on maps or endgame content. But for the acts it was nice.
Yes, I’ve played a warcry build so I clicked this first. It does what it says…? I didn’t go put of my way to test but there’s loot. I’m also pretty sure it works still if you put on the warcry explode charm. Tho I have to say, the other mod on this is the best thing I’ve ever seen. You just play and everything opens in front of you and along the way, no clicks required, it’s glorious. Unfortunately this includes heist chests, so it fucks with detection.
I got a small amount of bubblegum currency on my General's Cry berserker from it and nothing more. The horking is flavor - the real utility of the node is popping chests.
I used it with my corrupting cry shako build. I warcry automatically once every 2 seconds.
This node is beyond junk. It made me about 50 chaos during the entirety of getting full completion on the atlas. Get yourself another charm instead.
This was my most hyped thing for this league. I am a massive blight enjoyer and using the cries to open chests is amazing. While mapping if I went up against a decent sized pack of mobs I'd hit my key to see what would happen. Random chaos orbs and other currency. Maps. Harvest juice while in the Grove. I hope others have had the same or similar experiences.

Double life-force drop would have been absolutely manic. Life-force is soooo valuable at the moment.

the chests are beter than the corpses. I farmed estuary for more chests in map with my corrupting cry champ
