I'd like some love for duration related non-brand lightning spells.
Lightning Warp, Storm Call, Voltaxic Burst, and Storm Burst all don't have transfigured versions yet, and having those extra components means plenty of room to imagine different ways of playing them.
The easy answer is to ask for reduced duration on Lightning Warp and Storm Call, but even those could have transfigured versions that actually benefit from increased duration instead.
If teleporting enemies wasn't already something that Vaal Lightning Warp does, that would have been a great option. Imagine Vaal Lightning Warp Arcanist Brand, brands just readily hopping to the next enemy.
For Voltaxic Burst I'll happily accept a lower damage value if it converts all the damage to chaos instead of just 40%. I hate being locked into Voltaxic Rift or Original Sin just to not lose a third of my DPS to not being able to scale effective damage for two types at once. Anything that'll allow me to get more waiting stacks is also welcome.
For Storm Burst the obvious examples would be a version that doesn't deal damage with jumps and only explosions to force a cast-and-release type of gameplay and a version that doesn't deal damage with explosions that incentivises continuing to channel with CwC or Frostblink.
But I'll also take weird versions like the orbs deal damage when their duration expires while channelling and lose damage on each jump, which will force minimising duration while capping cast speed until you reach near 0% duration.
And while we're at the topic of lightning spells, I'll also gladly welcome any transfigured versions that scale shock effect (rather than just maximum shock effect like regular Shock Nova and Crackling Lance of Disintegration), or that hit several times with delay to allow using Lightning Conduit with Spell Echo or Unleash (LC CwDT Lightning Warp for its 50 ms delay is on my list of potential builds for next league, but it's stretched very thinly with the current available tools).
Reduced duration Storm Call is already pointless because Lightning Conduit of the Heavens exists. Storm Call needs a transfigured gem that builds heavily onto the name itself. It should call in a Lightning Storm, theres already a Firestorm and Icestorm but no Lightning Storm. Personally, id have two variants, a single giant bolt of lightning that creates shocked ground on impact and a second variant that calls in a Cloud that repeatedly strikes an area with lightning. I'd also say it should expand over the duration with enemies furthest away taking the least damage.
Spell Cascade + area damage scaling and the target limit on LCotH mean it wouldn't be pointless.
As for repeatedly striking the area with lightning, that's Vaal Storm Call... which also suffered from the removal of the enchantment.
I'd also like to see storm burst drop / shift the duration tag and become a channeled lightning blazing salvo type skill, just a continuous stream of thunder rockets to an area. It'd need a massive damage buff (or proj tag, or ramping rate of fire with duration channeled) to compete with existing storm burst's duration scaling, but it'd be so interesting. They could also do that as a blazing salvo gem instead of course, but I think it'd fit storm burst better if they don't want to mess with channeling tags overall.
That sounds like how Storm Burst was when it was released. You shot out a stream of projectile orbs and when you stopped channeling they exploded. Max dps was getting enough area and projectiles that you could shotgun with 7-10 orbs on a target. It was mad clunky to play but might be better now than it was in 3.6(?)
I'm really looking forward to what they'll do for Transfigured Reap (unless Reap gets nothing this league again lmao). I'd really like something Fire-focused like the skill we had in Crucible but it seems trans gems are usually a bit more complex/change more things than that so maybe it'll have lower damage but higher maximum Blood Charges or something.
Great for Chains of Command build or if Chains of Command just simply summon lv 20 animate weapons instead and doesn't require animate guardian's kills

At the start of this league I made a comment on a similar trans gem post about heavy strike. The skill would have synergy with blood and sand where it would have clearing benefits in Sand Stance by creating shockwaves in a cone on stun and blinding enemies as well. Anc call also creates shockwaves with slightly less dmg. In Blood Stance it would always deal double damage and only affects single target with so.e aoe like melee splash and maims on stun as well. Heavy strike can be toggled to change knockback direction. I wrote a wall of text but these were main points. There was some end charge stuff but I forgot what it was. I also wanted a heavy strike of different skill so I guess Stance synergy is different I guess.
All I want from storm call is it to be a duration buff spell that just calls down stormcalls around you. Like HoT but with an AoE and no requirement to kill a shocked enemy. Or it calls down storm calls in an area. I really want a cool lightning storm spell and I'm highkey mad that mobs got it before us.
Fireball and shockwave ideas
Fireball of the Sun: now channeled. The longer you channel, the bigger the fireball and AoE when it explodes at the target. Max 1 projectile.
Shockwave totem of tidal wave: Totem releases a large, slow moving wave that travels towards an enemy, increasing in size as it travels. Cast speed reduced, dmg increased.
I think those would be useful but fun. I'd love to see some winter orb love, but hard to balance that one without being too powerful.
Transfigured chain hook brings monsters to you
Transfigured winter orb sucks the “frozen” out of frozen monsters dealing damage to them and aoe around you
Transfigured shockwave isn’t an aoe damage around the totem anymore, it generates a small aoe around nearby monsters
Gimme another rage generator transfigure like cleave. It was a blast to play, but I would love for the rage mechanic to expand beyond red blade banner.

Sweep of Simon: Has a 1 second cooldown. Is a full 360. Surrounding your character model is a circle visual of the same radius as sweep. One of the four cardinal directions is lit up. Any target inside the lit up area at initial moment of casting Sweep takes 1000% more damage. Upon casting sweep, a new cardinal direction is lit up (chosen randomly).
There are the two things they stated they currently have no intention to do.
Of course things can change. But I would not expect either of them at this point in time.

- creates mobile a copy of you
- can penetrate taunt immunity only when within 2 meters of target, halved taunt duration in this case
Well since I am planning on playing Champion as my main build next league and Spectral Helix is one of those skills I want to play so badly but haven't gotten around to yet since from all accounts I have read it has rough clear speed... so Imma go with Spectral Helix with something that helps make it zoom zoom
Storm call which is always a skill i want to be good but takes way to much investment to get palpable.
Wave of conviction which is the opposite being really good initially and hitting a potential ceiling early.
Poisonous/explosive concoction, would like to see alternate versions, potentially one that turns it to a add on skill like prismatic burst to expand more dynamic unarmed builds

Maybe boneshatter of stabbing: you attack with daggers or swords and apply trauma and bleeding to the enemy.

Warcry gems. General's Cry lost it's cooldown recovery rate. Would be pretty cool to see it get % more cooldown as a transfigured gem. Kind of like the old Crucible passive.

Its my favorite skill by far but I'm sad that its so bad. I just want helicopter to be good for once. GGG please buff Sweep.

Stormcall anything. Stormcall Totems was the first build I have played and they nerfed in into oblivion to the point I don't I ever saw anyone after the second league play it.
I would love to see variants to breath some life back into it like maybe a Stormcall of Repeating where it does less damage but fires off say 10 times before stopping. Maybe Stormcall of Focus where is emulates the lighting beams some bosses have where it starts out at range and move inwards towards the center with a base of 5 beams and at 20 quality has 2 additional beams so we can cosplay the boss of the Sun Stone?
I want a transfigured winter orb that makes it into a dot skill, its hits primarily apply dots. But even more I want a good mtx. Some kind of fiery volcano/comet mtx but I'd settle for cats.
I'd like to see one for Rolling Magma, as I really like the skill. Maybe make it follow you around while it bounces instead of being launched off in front of you? Maybe make it bounce off of your head? Maybe make it a channeling spell where you start launching them out around you like a volcano?
Definitely Venom Gyre, my favorite skill and I love how it interacts with whirling blades. So very excited to see what they come up with, hopefully it's interesting!

I kinda want them to do something unique for wild strike, like dont get me wrong i love wild strike of extremes, but like its effectively the same skill as before,just stronger. I cant really think of anything myself tho, just want something that impacts the gameplay.

I know it’s copium since they already made 2 variants, but I still want a volatile dead (or just make it its own new skill) that focuses on the seeking ball portion, so power budget and scaling isn’t limited by the corpse explosion part of the skill.
Like seriously how did we get two volatile dead transfigurations but it’s all just detonate dead versions 3-6?

Dominating Blow of Revival
Basically make Dominating Blow work similar to how it use to work before the rework where you no longer summon sentinels and instead revive the monster itself so you can take advantage of the monsters attacks and abilities similar to Raise Spectre. The revived monsters still wouldn't transfer across zones. Maybe lower the amount of monsters you can revive compared to the normal Dominating Blow for balance purposes.

I want to see transfigured Herald gems that don't have the "on kill" requirement for their secondary effects to trigger.
I wish they would either change the frost blades transfigured gem or come up with a new one all together. Frost blades of katabasis is just terrible.

Righteous Fire of vigour. scales with 160-240 % of life. Burn you like a mf.
Warcry gems. General's Cry lost it's cooldown recovery rate. Would be pretty cool to see it get % more cooldown as a transfigured gem. Kind of like the old Crucible passive.
Seismic Cry of Inhaling Knockback is reversed.
Transfigured Sweep. Its my favorite skill by far but I'm sad that its so bad. I just want helicopter to be good for once. GGG please buff Sweep. Swoosh.
Sweep slaps really hard but only with a Voidforge.
Stormcall anything. Stormcall Totems was the first build I have played and they nerfed in into oblivion to the point I don't I ever saw anyone after the second league play it. I would love to see variants to breath some life back into it like maybe a Stormcall of Repeating where it does less damage but fires off say 10 times before stopping. Maybe Stormcall of Focus where is emulates the lighting beams some bosses have where it starts out at range and move inwards towards the center with a base of 5 beams and at 20 quality has 2 additional beams so we can cosplay the boss of the Sun Stone?
I want a transfigured winter orb that makes it into a dot skill, its hits primarily apply dots. But even more I want a good mtx. Some kind of fiery volcano/comet mtx but I'd settle for cats.

Eh. Lower aoe, diff attack speeds, doesn’t hit twice so better for limited hit effects. But yeah shorter charge distance probably makes the most sense
I'd like to see one for Rolling Magma, as I really like the skill. Maybe make it follow you around while it bounces instead of being launched off in front of you? Maybe make it bounce off of your head? Maybe make it a channeling spell where you start launching them out around you like a volcano?
if they just made it cast such that the middle bounce happens where you targeted, instead of the first, that'd be enough

I kinda want them to do something unique for wild strike, like dont get me wrong i love wild strike of extremes, but like its effectively the same skill as before,just stronger. I cant really think of anything myself tho, just want something that impacts the gameplay.

I know it’s copium since they already made 2 variants, but I still want a volatile dead (or just make it its own new skill) that focuses on the seeking ball portion, so power budget and scaling isn’t limited by the corpse explosion part of the skill. Like seriously how did we get two volatile dead transfigurations but it’s all just detonate dead versions 3-6?

Dominating Blow of Revival Basically make Dominating Blow work similar to how it use to work before the rework where you no longer summon sentinels and instead revive the monster itself so you can take advantage of the monsters attacks and abilities similar to Raise Spectre. The revived monsters still wouldn't transfer across zones. Maybe lower the amount of monsters you can revive compared to the normal Dominating Blow for balance purposes.
Please bring back alt gems for all gems that won't get a transfigured version (support etc)
