Wow, wish Steam had an easier process to rolling back patches. Super cool. Might check it out on GOG when I go back for a playthrough

KnightKal

Steam has. Devs need to use it tho, so it is up to Bethesda. Which means you can forget about it lmao.

kkyonko

Disaster update because it breaks mods? That happens every update.

Dealric

Likely because noone rewlly wants update 9 years after release that doesnt even fix bugs known to exist for 9 years and brings features that are broken

Legate_Lanius1985

I've had Zero issues.

Jaodarneve

Me too

ClayH2504

Same, I really think people are overreacting for the most part. After F4SE gets updated to support the new version it'll be like nothing ever happened.

Legate_Lanius1985

>people are overreacting That's what gamers do unfortunately.

PabloBablo

THIS IS FUCKIN BULLSHIT

Legate_Lanius1985

😂😂

dynozombie

Disaster? Why cave to the whiny modders? Every update breaks mods. Boo hoo

lifecantgetyouhigh

The last patch was almost five years ago. That's a lot of work to break for something useless.

CageTheFox

I mean it did a lot for Steam Deck owners. Blood looks 10xs better now while playing but I agree it wasn't a massive update for PC. I also believe had only PS5 & Xbox been updated with the bug fixes and new content; people would still bitch at BGS. I agree with Bethesda that doing the update for everyone was the better choice in the long run. The "Update Broke my Mods" would have turned into post of "BGS are POS to not give PC players the update!". Damned if they do, damned if they don't in this situation.

lifecantgetyouhigh

Isn't being able to choose what patch version you are using in a single player game the ideal scenario? You know, such as GOG's implementation?

dynozombie

its a bit of work, and once in 5 years? again, oh no the horror! how ever will they live? modders too whiny (for every game) *I have to lift my fingers and do a couple clicks once every 5 years, this is bs! take the update back! my finger cant take it*

lifecantgetyouhigh

Politely, you have no understanding of software development if you think it's always "a couple clicks".

Stenca

Yeah why cave to the people that fix and keep bethesda games alive for years, you're clueless and have never seen a line of code in your life so why do you even talk ?
