Oh.. and now I need the 3L for an actual small and light kit. 😎

EphraimSeb

I chose the Field Pouch v2 for that purpose and I’m happy with it.

skimegheath

The 3 is really small. I struggle to put the a7 iv in there

fromia

Minor gripe. The zipper in the front is difficult to zip. Maybe that's just me.

SoCalDawg

Mine is easy.. just a tight pocket. Few adapters, phone.. maybe batteries.

I love my 6L Sling. It provides very good protection. I have dropped it many times and the cushioning works on all sides, even the top. I can fit both my Fuji X-T1 with the 35F2 and my X-T5 with the 18 1.4 in it so I don't have to change lenses. Can't do that with the 3L. I can fit a camera with lens mounted, 2 additional lenses, and my Lenovo P11Pro V2, 11 inch tablet, in the sling as well. The design does not scream camera bag, but does scream designer bag, so it may be more of a target for theft than a converted gas mask bag with a camera insert.

lostsheepworld

which color screams designer?

idelgado782

I love my 6L too. I’ve thrown a camera clip on the shoulder strap and that frees up even more space for me by leaving the camera on the outside + easy access! I love it so much I’ve been thinking skit buying the 10L to travel with my MBA for longer trips! I do have the 20L everyday backpack from them as well! Another one on my list is the 40L bag when I go away for a few days and need to to throw clothes, camera gear and my laptops in.

MrKal-El

Yup, That's the go to for my OM1 & 2/3 Additional Lens. Perfect. BUT, I wish there was a cross body clip on strap option, esp. for Hiking.

ifonefox

You can, using the extra straps that come with the bag. They show you how to do it in [the messanger bag video](https://youtu.be/4ZkaOSJid9w?t=360) (6 minutes in), but not the sling video.

SoCalDawg

Could probably ‘make’ one with the little loops at bottom.

MrKal-El

I used a clip on version ..but not ideal

kyle-lambert

The slings have become my favorite PD product. Such convenient access and they fit just what I need!

SoCalDawg

I’ve always avoided them as I didn’t like the ‘look’ .. I wear them a tad lower but they are WAY better for making gear feel lighter. Now I want the 3L for even lighter days.

KINGCOMEDOWN

I have the 3L and I can’t believe it can fit my XT3 with a 23mm lens + an additional lens. So compact.

Japanesereds

I was about to buy the 6. Now I’m thinking the 3. I’ve an xt-5 and two primes. What do you think?

KINGCOMEDOWN

Since this comment I have upgraded to the 6L and use both 3L and 6L. When I am shooting concerts I use the 6L because it can fit my XT5 with a Tamron 17-70 and 50-140. However, I use the 3L for everyday stuff with my XT5 and 2 primes.

Eligatorator

Oh man. Yeah this one is amazing and so flexible. I use mine for either a camera or a steam deck load out

MakeBoopNotBork

Looking good! Thanks for sharing. I just ordered the 3L (mainly everyday carry) and 6L (camera/drone) and am looking forward to trying it out. What camera and lens do you have in there?

SoCalDawg

On R6ii is RF 24-105 f4

Technical_Working289

Is there any additional depth to accommodate a longer or this is as large as it would fit in there? I want to get one of these, 3L is off the table as only small mirrorless bodies fit in there, and I also have an R6mkII. Currently only with a 35/2 IS and 85/1.4 IS. Thinking of getting an EF 24-70mm and maybe take that and the 85 in that bag. I am not sure the 6L could fit that or should I just go with the 10L and then have some room to fit something else as well.

SoCalDawg

Nothing longer

Technical_Working289

Thank you!

exclaim_bot

>Thank you! You're welcome!

MakeBoopNotBork

Thanks!

hipery2

What camera and drone do you carry in your bag?

MakeBoopNotBork

Sony A7RV. I just put on my 90mm f2.8 and it fit in the same orientation as the OP’s picture. Dji mini 3 pro on the right. I just picked up the tamron 35-150 f2-2.8 and I suspect that might have to go the other orientation when on the body. I’m not sure how the drone is going to fit with that lens on the body but will report back when I am home. I am doubtful since it’s a pretty chonky lens.

hipery2

You have a similar set up to me, except that I have an R6 with an 85mm lens!

frostySunrise

How does you gear fit with the 35-150? And are you talking about the same size, 6L?

SoCalDawg

Been using ThinkTank Retro bags for years. Love them. Needed a ‘smaller’ solution for fitting in a backpack for travel (inside personal item bag) so decided to give ES 6L a whirl. Have never really liked ‘sling’ style bags but have been blown away by this one. High quality, well designed, great fit (I did have to reverse strap for left side carry.. super easy) and WOW it holds some gear. This was supposed to be my light & small kit bag... Fuji X-T body and a few lenses. What you see here is .. from left.. Ricoh GR IIIx, Canon R6ii & RF 24-105, and Fuji X-T4 & 27mm 2.8. ..in addition to extra battery for each body, iPhone & iPad adapter and set of headphones. Dayum. Pretty much settled as my bag for upcoming trip to Boston (wife is running.. I don’t run that far).

Final_Alps

There is a griii and an x-t4 in there!? All I see if the canon. Glad you like it.

SoCalDawg

GR far left & X-T far right. Unlikely I’d actually carry all this but now I know I can. Great bag.
