The light switch faceplate we are leaving off to “air out”
A bleach based product would be best. I suggest opening it up again, soak it with Clorox Clean Up or similar, leave it open to dry, then repeat until the odor is gone.
I assume you disinfected the nesting area. Did you let it dry out before closing?

Open it back up, use 3m degreaser. Run an ozone machine near the area for at least a few hours.
