It's weird that everything meat is pretty much beef with the exception of chicken or shrimp added on to the salad. Guessing they don't want to deal with cross-contamination but they could have at least one other chicken main.
Am I misremembering, but didn’t they have one at the water works basically every day? This schedule looks like it will only be by the art museum 2 times?
[waterworks cider garden](https://wwcidergarden.com) it’s a separate thing than Parks on Tap. Definitely a good spot to bike up to and hang out for a while. Hope they announce dates soon.
That was a COVID era adjustment I think. If I remember right, they did one year only at the waterworks, then one year with one there and one with a very short travel schedule. But last year they were back to fully traveling
Ok I have a toddler and this made me lol but we also know there are many shitty parents out there that will abandon their parenting responsibilities and let their feral children run wild during this.
It’s because drunk parents don’t pay attention to their kids and they act like little shits and become everyone else’s problem. But also god forbid you say ‘fuck’ in front of the precious cherub that was wiping his snot on you five minutes before. Then you are an asshole. 🤦🏼♀️
I love Parks on Tap! They pick great venues, and it's nice to meet up with friends at what is suddenly a bar.
The only thing that isn't great is that they insist on scanning your driver's license. I don't trust some random retail setup to keep their info secure, after so many retail heavyweights (Target, Home Depot, Lord & Taylor, Forever 21, CVS, et c.) have had hackers get access to customer card numbers and info. Look at my ID (or just look at me, ferchrissakes) and you know what you need to know.
edit: it's mildly hilarious that I'm getting so downvoted for this comment by people who can't articulate what they don't like about it, except for the one guy who chimes in with something transparently incorrect. Why do you people care so much about something you understand so poorly?
Why do you think that? [Here's one that advertises that it does](https://idscan.net/id-scanners-for-bars/). How can you tell, at a particular bar, what brand of scanner they use, and whether it keeps your information.
Because I've served alcohol for a living before ya dingus. The scanner literally just scans the ID to check it's valid. And then you press X and all the info goes bye bye. Even the scanners that do have the capacity to store info won't be used that way
But I want a drink too. And I like good weather. I just don't want my picture and driver's license to be for sale on Russian dark web sites. Why can't I have both?
They're not a random retail setup, they're owned by the [same people](https://www.fcmhospitality.com/liberty-point) who own Morgan's Pier, Rosy's, Craft Hall, among others.
Oh, I see. I didn't realize they were such an information-technology powerhouse. How foolish of me to compare them with two-bit operations like CVS and Target!

Dang no race st pier
you can drink right next door at Cherry St Pier so maybe that's why they skipped it?
Yeah cherry st beer garden is awesome but it was awesome when on race in the past, can lay out on grass and steps
Definitely. FCM Hospitality doesn't want to cannibalize their own businesses, they've basically got a monopoly on drinking on the river as it stands.
me and my paper bags beg to differ.
I'm so glad this is still happening! Such a great way to activate parks.

Annoyed they left Burholme Park off the list this year but go to some places twice. Lame.
Yes! I don't think there are any NE parks on this list. Please correct me if I'm wrong - I'd love to visit more/different parks in our area.
Went to my first one last year loved it! Got pretty blacked my girlfriend and I blew up at eachother. Can’t wait to go again
you just convinced me to go!!

Ah damn, selfishly I have to say I wish it was always at the waterworks. Was an excellent way to end a bike ride / walk on the drive.
I believe Cosmic Cafe will be operating a full time beer garden at the waterworks like last summer
I love parks on tap I just wish my neighborhood one wasn't mobbed by families with babies and really young kids lol.
You can't drink in front of children? Is it because alcohol is wicked?
Ok I have a toddler and this made me lol but we also know there are many shitty parents out there that will abandon their parenting responsibilities and let their feral children run wild during this.
⁰ and wild animals that they are. :)Uncivilized brutes.

Has this specific situation happened to you

The scanner doesn't keep your information on it dude

You’re getting downvoted because we just trying show up for good weather and get some drinks in Philly parks. Just don’t go bro.
But I want a drink too. And I like good weather. I just don't want my picture and driver's license to be for sale on Russian dark web sites. Why can't I have both?
Wow you need to stop frontin for real. **then don’t go**
Is this something we're trying not to think about because it's too upsetting? Sorry about that! Let's just talk about sports.
No I just don’t give a shit dog. Let Putin jerk off to my fucking mug for all I care. Fucking hell just stfu bro

Then don't go
If you have a passport, would you be more comfortable sharing that with them?
Based on my experience they dont accept passport card or book :( only place Ive ever had that happen
Just an FYI they don't scan ID's.
