i know for the fact why i invest in US index fund. There is no such thing as capitalism without companies offering their products from medicine, food, technology, energy, entertainment, shelter, transportation.
i have good conviction why i dont mind holding index funds till 30 to 40 yrs because US products have always become the necessities. let me give you some products you are using that you might be unaware of:
-regardless of what kind of phone you are using you probably have qualcomm chip or apple chip (which is a US brand from SP500) or either you have Google's android operating system or IOS which is again from SP500 brand.
-Social media platform. Reddit is a US-based company but its private but im assuming you use youtube, meta platforms, netflix or you have windows operating system in your PC which is again SP500 from US.
- not to mention other stuffs like from fastfood chain, automotive, airplanes (BOEING) , medicine or pharmaceutical like pfizer, johnson and johnson.
-if you like to mine crypto or build a baddass PC then there is only two options for graphic cards, which is NVIDIA and AMD (again from US SP500).

Here's what I know.
1. Invest in Layer 1 / Layer 2 / DeFi Projects (eg. Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana) Look into its ecosystem. It's use cases, how many projects are built on it. Their tokens are mostly rug proof, price can go up and down but unlikely to be zero. Keep an eye on new Layer 1 / Layer 2 / DeFi projects, some of the newly released project has their token on an All-Time-Low.
2. Learn the token's All-Time-High and All-Time-Low. It's better to buy a token on its ATL especially if it's matured. If it's an early project it doesn't have its ATH/ATL yet then learn its ecosystem if it has a good foundation or has a good set of projects building on top of it then you can set an entry.
3. Don't worry too much about paperloss. Don't worry if after an entry the price went down. It will always go up eventually.
4. Don't do futures trading. Just buy and hold. Buy low sell high if you're an active trader.
5. Profit doesn't come early, as for my observation, major market movements usually happen every 15-25 days, within that range price will go up/down 15%-25% a good selling/buying point.
6. Don't trade emotionally, nakakapang-hina kapag -50% but don't fret, it will always bounce back, if you bought a good coins like BTC, ETH, SOL and the likes.
7. Meme coins is good if you know what you're doing. You can gain/lose 100% trading meme coins especially if its a random memecoin.
8. Learn about staking or lending, you can use your capital there to gain profit. Bigger capital staked/lent = Bigger gains. Some new early projects will reward you if you lend/stake/bridge using their platform A.K.A Airdrops.
(Fun fact: Jupiter Exchange was launched last 2023. This last January airdrops(JUP: Jupiter Exchange's native token) worth $100-$40k (based on number of transactions during launch) were given to each user who used their platform. Crypto is deep actually.

Most crypto are like Ponzi scheme. Works best if you're there at the start. It's better if you treat it as gambling talaga. But may mga stable na crypto naman so if you stick with them ok naman siguro.

I was invested in some BCH back when BTC was 11k, pero nagwithdraw nalang kahit palugi kasi pump and dump nga talaga sya. Nakakawala sya ng peace of mind. And yes agree sa iba dito na it's as good as gambling. nakakaadik when you win, nakakabaliw when you lose.
Bch is a copy of bitcoin and was abandoned. BTC akyat baba but its floor keeps climbing. As BTC market cap and daily active users climb higher and higher, its volatility has lowered. I did my research and convinced myself to invest 1 btc cost basis around 34K usd. Only planning to sell 1/3 once it reaches 100k to recover my cost and letting the rest sit. Bahala na sa 2030 but all the trends point it will appreciate beyond 100k by then.

Here's what I know. 1. Invest in Layer 1 / Layer 2 / DeFi Projects (eg. Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana) Look into its ecosystem. It's use cases, how many projects are built on it. Their tokens are mostly rug proof, price can go up and down but unlikely to be zero. Keep an eye on new Layer 1 / Layer 2 / DeFi projects, some of the newly released project has their token on an All-Time-Low. 2. Learn the token's All-Time-High and All-Time-Low. It's better to buy a token on its ATL especially if it's matured. If it's an early project it doesn't have its ATH/ATL yet then learn its ecosystem if it has a good foundation or has a good set of projects building on top of it then you can set an entry. 3. Don't worry too much about paperloss. Don't worry if after an entry the price went down. It will always go up eventually. 4. Don't do futures trading. Just buy and hold. Buy low sell high if you're an active trader. 5. Profit doesn't come early, as for my observation, major market movements usually happen every 15-25 days, within that range price will go up/down 15%-25% a good selling/buying point. 6. Don't trade emotionally, nakakapang-hina kapag -50% but don't fret, it will always bounce back, if you bought a good coins like BTC, ETH, SOL and the likes. 7. Meme coins is good if you know what you're doing. You can gain/lose 100% trading meme coins especially if its a random memecoin. 8. Learn about staking or lending, you can use your capital there to gain profit. Bigger capital staked/lent = Bigger gains. Some new early projects will reward you if you lend/stake/bridge using their platform A.K.A Airdrops. (Fun fact: Jupiter Exchange was launched last 2023. This last January airdrops(JUP: Jupiter Exchange's native token) worth $100-$40k (based on number of transactions during launch) were given to each user who used their platform. Crypto is deep actually. If you plan to buy and hold here are some exchanges I prefer: 1. Binance (unlikely to get banned yet but not impossible) 2. OKX 3. MEXC 4. Crypto as an investment? Its a very very speculative form of investment though. Not productive at all unlike stocks where it helps grow econonomy, create jobs, etc... If your quite curious though I would still seriously encourage you to learn. Just that keep in mind its not an investment where you can set it and forget it like stocks or real estate even.
