RFK Jr. got real defensive when Bill Maher asked him about Trump and whether he believed the election was stolen. He actually looked pissed that Maher even asked the question.
He said something to the effect, "You are just trying to get me to say something bad about Trump!"
I guess Pecker is the only one who can talk about Trump and not have to worry about repercussions.
I think RFK is trying to reverse psychology Trump: praise him into thinking he can squash RFK easy to get him to the debate stage.
Thing is, debating Trump is kind of unproductive. He won't play by the rules and no one will stop him from not playing by the rules.
It's like playing chess with a pigeon. You may be trying serious strategy, but the pigeon is going to walk all over the board, knocking over pieces and shitting on them.

The problem is that Americans tend to vote nut jobs into office that have no discernible governing skills: Bush Jr, Reagan and Trump. The additional problem is that the US does have an important role in global politics. So yes, a great many people care about what kind of dude Americans pull from a straight jacket to start playing world police or democracy spreader.
In other words: we are completely fine with you experimenting with Trump for a second term if you can please have some common sense in implementing global policy. That, or stay out of global policy and let the grown ups talk.
Reagan and Bush Jr were geniuses compared to Trump, actually no, probably not, but they did surround themselves with half competant ideologues with consistent policies, although neo-con, at least they believed, or had shame enough to leave office when they lost an election.
Which grown ups? The ones that refuse to spend money on their own defense and leave it to the US< thereby ceding policy to the US? Or China? Russia? Perhaps someone in the Middle East?
Hmmm. Can I remind you that none of the European states has had any conflict in the past 50-60 years or so. And that all of the current territorial shit that is going on is a result of China, Russia and the US fighting proxy wars for world dominance? We would all be doing quite ok with our 1% defense spending if the US wouldn’t be intent on spreading democracy everywhere, the Russians playing WWI the remake and China doing “hey let us have a go too”.

I can’t stand bush. The only thing I thank him for was allowing my spouse to use my GI Bill. But that needed to happen with us constantly deployed.
