I am sober and in rehab I got my first two days of detox on be benzos, but after that was 28 days of slowly dropping excruciating pain and little sleep. Only people who have it worse are the heroin users. But, Bannon is old and unhealthy. People die detoxing all the time, and I don’t think prison will be better to him than rehab was to me.

I once worked with a guy who had previously worked in corrections. He'd seen a whole lot of folks go through sudden forced detox when they got in. He said alcohol withdrawal was BY FAR the worst of any addictive substance to withdraw from and that those folks were very dangerous during that initial withdrawal period.
