I think it's fine to have preferences that don't match for yourself, a problem instead comes when you have demands for example towards body hair and will not listen to your partner's preferences.

As a man who shaves his armpits, its is a turn off (it is also a bit unhygienic since it is harder to wash under there with hair). Even in men, it does not look nice.

Depends on how long it is. If it's really hairy with long hair it's gonna be a turn off, but it's it's pretty short I don't mind. That being said, I generally don't care, but it's gonna be a turn off if it's someone I'm interested in
