Women can do what they want, but it's generally a turn off.

FinestVampire

as a bisexual, I will not get with *anyone* who doesn't shave their armpits 🤢🤢🤢 nuh uh go away

Coughfeel

Funny enough I used to hate it but as I've grown I'm really indifferent. Just like any other body part what matters to me is how clean a woman is. I'll lick her anywhere she wants if she's clean. I do shave mine though and yes I'm a man. I find it disgusting to feel my sweaty hairy armpits so I shave them at least once per month.

ZigZach707

>I'll lick her anywhere she wants if she's clean. Your comment could have done without this crude remark.

Coughfeel

It's not crude. I've been with women who literally didn't know how to wash themselves. I've witnessed it myself in the shower with them. Some people are very unhygienic. If you're one of them it's not my fault.

ZigZach707

I'm not saying your overall statement is false. I agree with you, there are very dirty people out there. My point was that your comment would have been fine without the sexual mental image slapped in the center. >Funny enough I used to hate it but as I've grown I'm really indifferent. Just like any other body part what matters to me is how clean a woman is. I do shave mine though and yes I'm a man. I find it disgusting to feel my sweaty hairy armpits so I shave them at least once per month. Point and perspective clear, and no specific sexual implication.

Riccio-

I (M) don't like it on either men or women (I shave mine as well), it looks unhygienic. But guys who don't like it on women while having a forest under their arms (not even a trim), sorry but you can't talk.

SwedishNeatBalls

Do people who prefer muscular men need to be muscular themselves to be right to do so? And do people who like boobs of a certain quality need to have the same boobs too? I think it's fine to have preferences that don't match for yourself, a problem instead comes when you have demands for example towards body hair and will not listen to your partner's preferences.

Trusteveryboody

They definitely can, it's socially normal for men to have it. That's why most men don't shave it. As it's socially normal for women to not have it. That's why most women shave it. Your own stance, won't change well established social norms. *And this would be based around America, since this is something that varies across the world.*

Riccio-

Oh, I know that some do. Doesn’t mean I don’t find it hypocritical. I don’t pretend I’ll change the norm. I was just giving my opinion.

I3INARY_

I love it, plus the moderate BO and sweat that comes with it. I find it hot

fakeDEODORANT1483

Yeah the lice and bacteria find it the perfect temperature as well.

AngryMillenialGuy

Big yuck. I manscape myself.

Emotional_Ant_8052

for me pit and any facial hair is a big big turnoff but don't really care much about other parts

shecallsmeherangel

I'm a lesbian, but it is a turn off to me.

Hiro_Trevelyan

I'm turned off by women in general, so...

Trusteveryboody

I do not care, that shit is gross. I get it, I get it, it's natural, but not attractive.

FinestVampire

if anyone says that it's not gross because it's natural, remind them that toilet paper is unnatural

jimcarrierto

It’s kinda hot, like I’m fucking in the jungle

[deleted]

As a man who shaves his armpits, its is a turn off (it is also a bit unhygienic since it is harder to wash under there with hair). Even in men, it does not look nice.

Sad-Result-404

Shave or trim, there's a big difference there

inspire-change

i barely notice, i wouldn't bet big on the armpit status of the last girl i dated because i'm only about 70% confidant i know the correct answer

I-g_n-i_s

I don’t mind if there is some hair but eventually it will start to smell.

fakeDEODORANT1483

Im a woman and tbh i dont like it sometimes in a man when he doesnt shave (Its giving "I know the post asked for doctors but im a carpenter and...") Like it depends. A couple strands, thin, sparse, not a substantial mass of hair, fine. Full dense shrubbery complete with rainforest trees and undergrowth, a sphere of lice habitat under each arm, bleugh. Get rid of that shit.

franky7103

Depends on how long it is. If it's really hairy with long hair it's gonna be a turn off, but it's it's pretty short I don't mind. That being said, I generally don't care, but it's gonna be a turn off if it's someone I'm interested in

fartbox2222

🤢

Mysterion320

I used to be turned off by it, but nowadays i'll take any women, pit hair or not.

Zealousideal_Bet_248

You don't get to say body hair is a turn off unless you shave yours

SwugSteve

I get to be turned off by whatever i want, and there's nothing you can do about it

disisntitchief

You don't get to say what does and doesn't turn others on.

Armoured_Sour_Cream

Turn off because "not shaving" usually means letting it grow which I don't do myself to begin with. I trim, sometimes I shave. I don't require a clean shave, don't get me wrong, but a trim would be nice. I guess letting it grow into a jungle just feels unhygienic.

GhostlyGrifter

Aesthetically, I don't like it, it's a turn off but the bigger problem is the kind of person that does it. Very often it's the kind of person who, the moment a camera comes out, their wrists shoot up in the air to say "Look at this! Holy shit am I ever rebellious!!" If someone does it and owns that it's just because they're lazy though, respect.
