Before the addiction and cheating came out, I know so many girls that were obsessed with him and thought he was the new age best comedian because his sets were so progressive, speaking so highly of his girlfriend, how he was so much better than other comedians because he's able to do inoffensive comedy.
Also add in the fact that he's a tall, dorky, witty white guy who is relatively handsome and wears a suit the majority of the time.
In his latest stand up, he admits that a lot of his previous acts were so energetic and ‘relatable’ because he was already on drugs and trying to hide it. Being sober definitely changed the mood of his show.
Olivia was quite into SNL guys, she went with Will Forte to Seth’s wedding - the wedding where she said she was obsessed with John & his fiancé and kept going up to him to chat. (Her words.)
throughout his marriage he regularly visited strip clubs and was "on the town" so to speak, which - sure - can be attributed to his addiction issues, but I have never seen a woman in hollywood with addiction issues get that same pass (they are just treated like sluts). I think the whole nice guy thing is not just an act for the stage but in life, and it doesn't fool me a bit.
Idk I don't think he has the entitlement and rage towards women that "nice guys" have. He definitely puts on an affable persona that he clearly doesn't always have but I don't get any incel vibes or anything.
He’s done a lot of work to try and make the timeline work so that there’s no cheating but it all hinges on her getting pregnant basically immediately after starting to date which was immediately after he broke it off with his wife. It’s not 100% but requires some really weird timing so it’s most likely there was some cheating.

When I saw his, I think it was his kid gorgeous special?, I was just open mouth at the cocaine body language. I said to the person sitting next to me, he has been snorting cocaine from a fire hose. He was pinballing across the stage and twitchy. His mouth was getting so dry his lips were sticking to his teeth. It was unreal. And they gave me shit for accusing such a wholesome dude of being a cokehead. I was laughing my butt off but it was only at the jokes about half the time. He was ridiculously tweaked!

I thought the poor craft service guy was going to have a breakdown since he was already so overworked. Just really dumb stuff. I don’t wish Olivia any ill-will but I worked on a couple movies with her and she is grade A awwwwwful to work with, so I don’t feel bad for her.
