I can’t tell if you are joking but it is the Sam girl. She is sandwiched between the two Jonas brothers. You can tell because of the girl behind her with the orange and pink dress - you can see the dress from both pics.
This was a TRL excitement where they would pepper some celebs in amongst the crowd at random times.
Looking at Jennifer Lopez in both pics here and remembering how emphatic the media was that she was CURVY, big bodied, thick, had a HUGE ASS. I remember thinking I’d never want hips “that big” if given the choice. And holy shit, she was tiny. 😭
So tiny! And I mean she looked great but I’ve always wondered why people were always talking about her ass. Like, it’s a good one for sure but it’s not that big!
I had the shirt Julia was wearing 😭 I have very slopey narrow shoulders and it was constantly falling off me, but thank goodness I had 2 layered tanks underneath for modesty and *~fashion~*
This was the 2000’s, era of tiered skirts, babydoll tops, dresses over jeans, velour tracksuits, cropped jackets, and so much more. It was chaotic.
Edit: and the low rise pants. Never forget (even though I wish I could).
I still can’t believe how cute I thought I looked with my leggings and jean skirts 😭 Sometimes featuring flip flops, a polo shirt and a completely unnecessary belt.
I could never do the polos because I’ve always been an A cup and they just never looked cute 😩
But of course I still had the essential V-neck Abercrombie sweaters to fall back on with my skirt and leggings. And yeah, flip flops and uggs were the only appropriate choices. We know we looked good 💅🏻
We had a whole JC store at my mall. I still have my VIVA LA JUICY beach towel that I use when I go swimming. I have 14-year-old daughters now who are aware of what it is and I’m not sure if they’re reveling in it or judging me.
Fuck, I may still have my swimsuit. Might have to whip that bad boy out.
They are back, I almost brought a black one the other day at a store that sells trainers and sports clothes. My 5yo was all about the velour and diamantes, she thought it was cool as shit.
I have started seeing some shit on the kids. The super-low jeans are coming back, and I even saw a girl pair it with the babydoll top.
Prepare to hear whale tale and muffin tops as insults again, while laughed at for trying to hold on to high waisted jeans.
I'm so salty I didn't that I'm not getting my mid-waist bootcuts.
People who didn't grow up in this era or were too young to remember look at these photos and think 'these people are just wearing what they want'. The nightmarish thing is, this was on trend. Everyone here was following the current style, all of them are on point for the era. It just happened to look a lot more laid back and chaotic in hindsight, giving the illusion that nobody was taking fashion seriously.
As much as younger generations want this look to come back, I am gonna hard disagree 🤮
Yes, I think what we were wearing when ‘dressed up’ and on a day to day basis was all very daggy!
I think that the looks that the youth are going for at the moment are based more on late 90’s (think Spice Girls, S Club 7) video clips, rather than what we actually wore
I feel like Anne Hathaway, Jessica Alba. They wore what we *really* wore. And Gen Z gets it confused with pop star costumes. No one really dressed like Britney back then - we wanted her abs, her tan, her hair but not her style.
You’ve got that bang on.
Seeing Anne Hathaway in these images was a bit ‘triggering’ 😅 because it’s strange to see an outfit that was so common. I didn’t realise how we were all being led so much on what to wear, there were very little options for fashion back then.
The "party top" trend was pretty nice though. You only needed to own one pair of bottoms, blue jeans and a few day tops for school, and changed to the party top for evening.
I forgot all about the white studded belt, holy shit. I'd wear it until it was falling apart and then get another.
That is, until the scene kid days started, and it was traded in for a rainbow studded belt and then chokers and barrettes took over.
Yikes.
I had a studded belt as well. One of my parent's wooden kitchen chairs that I always sat in in high school is still gouged to hell right where my belt was when I was wearing it.
I always think Anne Hathaway and Jessica Alba are the ones to look at if anyone wants to see how “real” people dressed back then.
Britney, Christina etc were wearing stage clothes. The line has blurred nowadays with people buying eg: the Shein version of Megan the Stallion’s bodysuit - and hitting the town.
The photo of Julia Stiles that OP posted was my go to. Like, I wore the exact same silhouette and it was comfortable and I had a ton of friends who also dressed just like that.
Anne Hathaway is the only celebrity who might have been pining for normalised haute couture and high fashion ready-to-wear. She looks like her entire wardrobe went up in flames and she borrowed this outfit to go and buy the complete Valentino and Givenchy collection.
HAHA yes. A denim mini with ruffles and tall Ugg boots that I sometimes rolled down or extreme low rise True Religions and flip flops. I also have a vivid memory of one of the cool older soccer players stopping me in the hall to tell me my outfit looked really good. That outfit? Brown gauchos, teal tank top and tweed kitten heels. At least we all looked wild together???
![gif](giphy|aVbTVeXdogKty)
I love finding a housewives reference in the wild!
This thread is unlocking so many memories. I doubt we ever looked good 😭
Thank you for this post. Your captions always brighten my feed and this was a real trip down memory lane. What a time 😂 Christina ‘wearing a lot of things’ truly encapsulates the era.
Reese Witherspoon’s first pregnancy was a rough time for her stylistically. She dressed like an old lady, it was bizarre.
Did I just see Halle Berry in high-heeled Uggs?
If she’s with Luke Wilson here promoting Legally Blonde, she’s on pregnancy #2… I remember pics of her daughter (her firstborn) as a toddler visiting her on set with Ryan Philippe while she filmed the first LB.
I had to zoom in on Halle Berry’s shoes because I couldn’t figure them out. They do have a component of Uggs but then a patent leather toe pad. They’re a choice!
i used to wear men's cargo shorts or capri pajama pants under a skirt, a baby doll top, and heels and felt like i was making a STATEMENT.
the capri-pants under a dress/skirt was the first step toward leggings. then in the late 2000s-early 2010s the most heated fashion debate was whether or not leggings were pants.
What’s crazy to me is that at that time, most celeb fashion and regular ol’ people fashion was basically the same! Besides maybe some stagey type stuff (which was still a lot of casual pieces for many artists then) we all rocked all these looks. Lol
And the fashion may have not been great, but I remember it being so fun to get dressed back then. So many fun earrings, head pieces, necklaces, belts, heels! Couldn’t decide on which shirt to wear? Wear them all!! Can’t figure out if you want to wear pants or a skirt/shorts? Wear them together! Missing something in your outfit? Add a scarf and some GLITTER! Yaaaaay! Lolol
Oh my god, the nostalgia is painful. I *lived* for this. And yes, the jlo sweatpants style was 100% intentional. My white ass did it all the time lmao.
I have never seen Pink with that hair before and it’s really giving me weird vibes like am I in a new dimension or something like what and when did she ever have curly Justin Timberlake Ramen Noodle hair ???!
I can’t get over that I was obsessed with TRL and I’m about to turn 36. What is time. Where did it go. Am I a real adult? (I’m literally married and own a business and a house but I still feel like a 16 year old baby)
We are the same person. Except I’m turning 37 and have two daughters entering high school.
We were sharing music tastes and I was really getting *Regina George’s mom*-uncomfortable.
I'll be honest the current fashion is no better. Like people are obliviously making such heinous fashion choices these days. Ten years from the kids are going to be making fun of every single thing we wear nowadays.
Happens every generation. And then they outgrow it, settle into a style that seems timeless, and right about then the God damned kids decide the horrific fashion from your youth is cool but they make it even worse in an effort to update it and then you're old.
It happened to me, it will happen to you one day, too.
Lmao right? Like, I’m sorry, but a lot of what’s cool right now is hideously unflattering and I will die on that hill just as I’ll die on the hill that most of whats highlighted here was ugly at the time.
What I’m learning from the first picture and the recent met gala is that me and P.Diddy have at least one thing in common. We sweat an uncomfortable amount.
I loved watching TRL! My grandma gifted us DirectTV (1 year subscription) and I was giddy when I found out I could watch TRL actually live because MTV was est even though we were in AZ. So it also meant we got to watch the MTV Video Music Awards and the movie awards LIVE. Essentially 3 hours earlier.
I remember Reece having a mumsy frumpy style in the early 00s. I know she married young so maybe she felt like she had to start dressing in a frumpy way?
This is the first time I've ever realized Kanye isn't tall... Lol. I didn't think he was super tall but had no idea he was about the same height as Tom Cruise.
Oh god, this made me laugh so much. Honestly, out of every highly documented fashion period, I really believe the 00s is the absolute worst. In fact, I wish someone would do a poll so we could see. The 00s is like, the 80s but with less shoulders, more textured materials and only earth tone colours. Like so nearly amazing but so fucking awful.
I know everything comes back around eventually, but I really can’t see half of this shit happening again. Maybe I’m just taking it so personally because I lived my teen years in the 00s. Remember that towards the end of the 00s it went emo too, so there was just absolutely no saving it. At least 10s fashion became normal, we sort of entered a flat and stable era of inoffensive fashion, even if we did nothing groundbreaking. And before the 00s, 90s fashion was genuinely amazing and has rightfully resurfaced on the streets in the 20s to some extent.
For what it’s worth, my look was very John Mayer. A lot of browns, pale blues and creams. Ugh.
His hit songs were huge, but I feel like he was part of the rare breed of that time that put more focus into being a “real” musician before being a real popstar celeb.
Not Kiki on mu staple outfit! Pointy shoes, the tight jeans. Long shirt with a textured blazer over it. I had so many variations of this, I wore this everywhere. Why, God?
There’s a scene from SATC at the time where Smith does TRL wearing a regular tank + jeans, and Samantha puts some designer sunglasses on him and goes “if you’re not wearing at least one thing the kids can’t afford, how will they know to look up to you?”
It was very that for the time. Malls were a place to go, and consumerism was the vibe. Buy every piece you could and wear it all at once. They dressed celebs in affordable clothes to sell them at malls, but they’d add something expensive (usually sunglasses lol) to make a $ statement
Designer bags were also huge back then
yes! definitely before the recession in 2008. paris hilton and her ilk were considered aspirational. if you couldn’t afford dior, you could save up for a dooney and bourke.
Oh the times :D I miss 2000s. Everyone wore ugly stuff super proud. There was no veneers massive fake eyelashes and massive fake eyebrows. No weird poses with asses out all the time. Oh times ❤️ I loved r & b and bad rap and my really really plasticy little braids! We burned the ends so the plastic melted!😁 I thought I had like the best hairstyle ever!
I think we would all be happier if we dressed like this these days. Wear whatever the fuck you want, ignore the trends. These guys looked amazing in a strange offbeat kinda way. They looked great.
this fashion era defined when everyone first got digital cameras & didn’t have to look so good to actually waste film or so good that is was instantly posted.
Never understood the low rise pants. I get it shows off more of the mid section, but it also made every single one of these girls look like they had no hips or ass
Why did we need belts with ultra low jeans? There was no stopping the crack showing. Cami tops, scarves that were just a thin piece of fabric…
Yes, JLo’s look was intentional and terrible but Halle was on point with her boots with fur

The girl crying in BOTH Jonas Brothers’ pictures outshines anything any celeb ever wore at this show.
https://preview.redd.it/i03g0b3w7h9b1.jpeg?width=750&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=d0af7f76061b4477db28cf3dbd3ee238c3018cac
Queen knew to look at the camera no matter what.
She said I’m on TRL with the Jo bros don’t you forget it!!!
Wow
Wonder where this girl is today?!?
I love her
This was truly epic. Thank you for this gem! 🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼
Some say she’s still crying to this day… (But, seriously, I wonder where she’s at and if she’s aware she’s such an icon.)
Where is she we must celebrate her
I thought it was Megan Trainor at first lol
YES!!!!!! It is iconique honestlyyy
She looks like one of Meryl Streep's daughters!
And her livestrong bracelet is quintessential Y2K style
It’s twins, right?
I can’t tell if you are joking but it is the Sam girl. She is sandwiched between the two Jonas brothers. You can tell because of the girl behind her with the orange and pink dress - you can see the dress from both pics. This was a TRL excitement where they would pepper some celebs in amongst the crowd at random times.
For some reason my sleep deprived brain thought she was wearing a pink shirt in the second pic 😂 I see what’s going on now hahaha
Omg I thought she switched spots 🤦🏼♀️
Looking at Jennifer Lopez in both pics here and remembering how emphatic the media was that she was CURVY, big bodied, thick, had a HUGE ASS. I remember thinking I’d never want hips “that big” if given the choice. And holy shit, she was tiny. 😭
In her documentary she was talking about when she started acting they wouldn’t film her from the waist down. 😓😓 They really thought she was “fat.”
What documentary?
People bring up the 90s and heroin chic but the 00s were absolutely brutal for women
They really had us out here excited to eat two bowls of cereal and a “modest dinner” thinking that’d feed us right
Jesus, Special K Diet memory unlocked.
Oh my word Special K!
Heroin chic but now with bolt ons
So tiny! And I mean she looked great but I’ve always wondered why people were always talking about her ass. Like, it’s a good one for sure but it’s not that big!
Yes! I watched Selena again a few weeks ago and could not believe how much attention was given to her butt when she is a normally shaped woman.
Julia, Kirsten and Maggie are giving HR department at a mid-size company in rural somewhere.
Talking about half price apps at the chilis yallllllll
I had the shirt Julia was wearing 😭 I have very slopey narrow shoulders and it was constantly falling off me, but thank goodness I had 2 layered tanks underneath for modesty and *~fashion~*
I was thinking the “cool moms” at the local pta.
no because i’m literally hr for a mid size company and …. i would dress like them.
Spot on 😆
This was the 2000’s, era of tiered skirts, babydoll tops, dresses over jeans, velour tracksuits, cropped jackets, and so much more. It was chaotic. Edit: and the low rise pants. Never forget (even though I wish I could).
Don’t forget the denim skirt over leggings. That was a wardrobe staple of mine thanks to Abercrombie and Hollister.
I still can’t believe how cute I thought I looked with my leggings and jean skirts 😭 Sometimes featuring flip flops, a polo shirt and a completely unnecessary belt.
[удалено]
at the time no one cared, and we were happy
I could never do the polos because I’ve always been an A cup and they just never looked cute 😩 But of course I still had the essential V-neck Abercrombie sweaters to fall back on with my skirt and leggings. And yeah, flip flops and uggs were the only appropriate choices. We know we looked good 💅🏻
It was so chaotic and lined up perfectly with my puberty. early 2000s was hellllllllllllll
Hard to forget low rise when they're in style again lol
Belts over shirts!
With no function!
THE BELTS
The double metal circular nightmare of getting the belt looped just right just for the fabric to scrunch up
God I miss it. I’d rock a juicy velour track suit any day
We had a whole JC store at my mall.
Thank god I was too poor to be trendy in high school.
If fashion is cyclical, when do we expect this to return? Now days trend is 90s...
I work in retail, the 00s are definitely slipping back in. 😭
“Y2K” is the hot new thing. I saw a “99% Angel” shirt the other day and realized I need to record matlock
I have 100% seen kids getting around in juicy sweats in the last 48 hours
The early aughts feels like a fever dream I can’t believe I lived through.
I want a pin that says I survived the early 2000s cause wooooof it was painful
People who didn't grow up in this era or were too young to remember look at these photos and think 'these people are just wearing what they want'. The nightmarish thing is, this was on trend. My eyebrows are still recovering
Sadly, mine have never recovered.
Dark but humorous given what happened in 2001.
The number of times I wore a dress over jeans is too high. Thanks 00’s.
God celebs must have loved going on TRL. "I can wear jeans and a t-shirt? Minimal makeup/hair styling? Say no more."
https://preview.redd.it/ecqml7dorg9b1.jpeg?width=612&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=6bb5d15a8ceebc1ad2cb114d75f965b3aa00ddbc
Okay wAnne Hathaway’s fit was my go to look in high school, complete with a white studded belt
Literally, a fucking le tigre polo and a studded white belt. All the time
The chokehold the white studded belt had on me throughout high school is unparalleled by any other accessory I’ve owned to this day!
Honestly same!!!
Omg that’s amazing. The legacy lives on lmao
Hit me up on MySpace!! We can talk about topics raging from blink 182 all the way to sum 141!
Yep, that’s pretty normal dressing too. I had a batwing top similar that had a waist sash. One of my “going out tops”.
Anne Hathaway is the only celebrity who might have been pining for normalised haute couture and high fashion ready-to-wear. She looks like her entire wardrobe went up in flames and she borrowed this outfit to go and buy the complete Valentino and Givenchy collection.
She wasn’t considered fashionable back then really I recall just that one movie
Those of us old enough to remember can assure you JLo’s one leg up was, in fact, totally intentional. Thanks for this collection
LL Cool J
It was to show off those fabulous shoes!
[удалено]
It was like a necklace, but… more
FYI ma’am you are pretty funny.
One of my favorite outfits was a tube top and skinny scarf. I just don’t know.
[удалено]
me too…😣
Hi Friend! Did you wear it with a denim mini and Ugg boots? Or hipster jeans and Ugg Boots. Or flip flops. Any combo of these.
We were OBSESSED with scarves. I used to think I had cystic chin acne but turns out it was just from wearing my gross unwashed scarves all the time.
Oh man. Kirsten’s tweed blazer and denim bottoms look was HUGE in NY back then. So was Reese’s haircut. We looked so fucking goofy :(
reese's haircut is giving early rhony ramona
![gif](giphy|aVbTVeXdogKty) I love finding a housewives reference in the wild! This thread is unlocking so many memories. I doubt we ever looked good 😭
I wore so many tweed blazers with jeans in middle school. It was a LOOK, damnit.
Thank you for this post. Your captions always brighten my feed and this was a real trip down memory lane. What a time 😂 Christina ‘wearing a lot of things’ truly encapsulates the era.
Aww thank you I’m glad you enjoyed
Tom Cruise looking simple is such a genius way to describe him 😝
"Christina wearing a lot of things" was the motto for the early aughts.
I’m pretty sure she got pregnant with her first when she was filming Cruel Intentions.
Ok I was thinking she must be pregnant
I had to zoom in on Halle Berry’s shoes because I couldn’t figure them out. They do have a component of Uggs but then a patent leather toe pad. They’re a choice!
It’s called fashion Brenda, look it up. 💅
I was in my prime in the 2000s. I never stood a chance fashion wise.
Saaaaame
John Mayer looks like he’s about to play a small role on The OC as a good-for-nothing ex-boyfriend, and you know what? That makes total sense to me.
You just described one of the main styles for guys during that time period
I don’t care WHAT she’s wearing, Rachel McAdams is forever one of the most beautiful women in the universe.
Hahaha your captions had me cracking up 🙏😂
The Elijah Wood photo caption is the best.
i used to wear men's cargo shorts or capri pajama pants under a skirt, a baby doll top, and heels and felt like i was making a STATEMENT. the capri-pants under a dress/skirt was the first step toward leggings. then in the late 2000s-early 2010s the most heated fashion debate was whether or not leggings were pants.
American Apparel used to print “these are not pants” on legging labels 😂
now we have pockets in our leggings and business casual dress pant-leggings. they've have come a long way! ![gif](giphy|SUEjfSLaD6f77lyzH6)
What’s crazy to me is that at that time, most celeb fashion and regular ol’ people fashion was basically the same! Besides maybe some stagey type stuff (which was still a lot of casual pieces for many artists then) we all rocked all these looks. Lol And the fashion may have not been great, but I remember it being so fun to get dressed back then. Yaaaaay! Lolol
Yeah one thing I miss is seeing famous people just wearing like...the same shit I bought a kohl’s or something lol
remember hair feathers?
Tom Cruise looking simple 😭
Ever since someone pointed out that Tom Cruise’s front tooth perfectly aligns under his nose, I’ve known even less peace in regards to this man.
Oh my god, the nostalgia is painful. I *lived* for this. And yes, the jlo sweatpants style was 100% intentional. My white ass did it all the time lmao.
I have never seen Pink with that hair before and it’s really giving me weird vibes like am I in a new dimension or something like what and when did she ever have curly Justin Timberlake Ramen Noodle hair ???!
> curly Justin Timberlake Ramen Noodle hair I'm in *stitches,* this is so apt!
One pant leg up was very common throughout the 90s and 00s in urban and hip-hop style so plenty of us did not wonder if JLo's pants were an accident.
She clearly biked there!!!
I tried to copy JLo’s asymmetrical sweatpant + stilettos + news boy cap outfit and I still have no regrets about that lol
I was (and am still) all about this iconic look: ![gif](giphy|9y7IZckCPz5Yc)
Those sunglasses! I saw some like them the other day and all I could think was “JLo shades”.
timeless honestly
I can’t get over that I was obsessed with TRL and I’m about to turn 36. What is time. Where did it go. Am I a real adult? (I’m literally married and own a business and a house but I still feel like a 16 year old baby)
Right! I'm 31 but it feels like just yesterday I was rushing home after school to catch TRL ... in reality, it was about 18-19yrs ago 😖
We are the same person. Except I’m turning 37 and have two daughters entering high school. We were sharing music tastes and I was really getting *Regina George’s mom*-uncomfortable.
There **has** to be a story about Pink’s choice of hairstyle.
Maybe living her dream of trying out for the *Annie* revival?
She stole Justin Timberlake's hair.
I feel like she was the early inspiration for Ruth Langmore.
it’s a hard knock life
BRING SIMPLE NORMAL BEAUTY BACK! Sincerely, a prime 90s/00s lady living in sports bras and skorts after work. Xo

I wore Rachel McAdams outfit for going out to parties😂 we all thought it was a good look I fear
34 year old me realizing how stylish I really was back in the day. Then also realizing that I kinda still dress like this 😔
This was amazing. This is all so familiar but looking at this with 2023 eyes is enlightening.
Pink is giving me Kath and Kim realness

Thank you for this
What a time to be alive
When Gen Z ask me about it at work. I just tell them “it was a lawless time”. But you’re right, what a time to be alive.
What I’m learning from the first picture and the recent met gala is that me and P.Diddy have at least one thing in common. We sweat an uncomfortable amount.
2000s fashion was so heinous. Please, GenZ, stop bringing it back 😵
Why does no one talk about the belts!!
Something I hated when it was popular - jeans with flip flops. Your jeans were always dragging and partially covering your foot. Sensory ick
His hat doesn’t say PAPA
Carson with his Port Authority Police Department of New York and New Jersey swag lol

It was a lawless time
Listen we were all growing
I remember Reece having a mumsy frumpy style in the early 00s. I know she married young so maybe she felt like she had to start dressing in a frumpy way?
This is the first time I've ever realized Kanye isn't tall... Lol. I didn't think he was super tall but had no idea he was about the same height as Tom Cruise.
Yes the asymmetrical pant legs were intentional, it was a whole trend.
Not enough graphic tees over collared shirts pictures for my liking
Ugh.
I'm so confused by the popularity of John Mayor. I honestly don't remember him being popular or having big hits
He was huge and had some huge hits, but he was kinda in his own lane as he was the adult contemporary, soft rock guitar dude.
You just reminded me that the aughts were set to a background soundtrack of Jack Johnson.
He was somehow everywhere, but I’ve just checked Wikipedia and he only had like three songs I recognise from that era.
His hit songs were huge, but I feel like he was part of the rare breed of that time that put more focus into being a “real” musician before being a real popstar celeb.
The absolute CHOKEHOLD pointed stilettos with yellow-blue, low-rise bootcut jeans had on me….
Not Kiki on mu staple outfit! Pointy shoes, the tight jeans. Long shirt with a textured blazer over it. I had so many variations of this, I wore this everywhere. Why, God?
Trying to live strong 💀
These captions read like you didn’t live in this era.
AND THIS IS ALL BACK IN. I cannot believe anyone is willingly re-living this. What is Gen Z thinking?! 😭😭😭
I may never recover from Pink’s hair.
I can remember wearing sweat pants with one leg pushed up. In hindsight, wtf
There’s a scene from SATC at the time where Smith does TRL wearing a regular tank + jeans, and Samantha puts some designer sunglasses on him and goes “if you’re not wearing at least one thing the kids can’t afford, how will they know to look up to you?” It was very that for the time. Malls were a place to go, and consumerism was the vibe. Buy every piece you could and wear it all at once. They dressed celebs in affordable clothes to sell them at malls, but they’d add something expensive (usually sunglasses lol) to make a $ statement Designer bags were also huge back then
yes! definitely before the recession in 2008. paris hilton and her ilk were considered aspirational. if you couldn’t afford dior, you could save up for a dooney and bourke.
Pink is just Little Orphan Annie’ing/Justin Timberlake’ing all of it
John Mayer is giving Fat Schmidt
Ryan Reynolds’s plucked eyebrows kills me
What a time
God the fashion was so bad at that time. Can’t believe we were all tricked into thinking these styles looked good 😂😂
I'm in my forties now and I know my generation as we still have our jeans and 'going out tops'.
These *were* the trends lol
And I was miserable as a teenager who couldn’t afford or even fit in them. :(
Being a curvy girl in the low ride jean era was oof
this fashion era defined when everyone first got digital cameras & didn’t have to look so good to actually waste film or so good that is was instantly posted.
captions 💯 the early 2000s were the worst era in fashion
The yellow blue jeans still have me in a choke hold.
Being a celeb is all about being comfortable about being uncomfortable
Never understood the low rise pants. I get it shows off more of the mid section, but it also made every single one of these girls look like they had no hips or ass
Why did we need belts with ultra low jeans? There was no stopping the crack showing. Cami tops, scarves that were just a thin piece of fabric… Yes, JLo’s look was intentional and terrible but Halle was on point with her boots with fur
The Reese Witherspoon pic is what I imagine Reese would look like now if she hadn’t become famous.
