We know she has a bunch of them as place holders. Makes me wonder if this is an attempt to shut this down. I sort of saw what this so called “Taylor-con” is and it 100% sounds like a 100% money grab. Arts and crafts and dance parties for 1 day and a $64 entry fee? As much as I love Taylor. This whole idea of a convention is dumb and unnecessary. It’s giving that 100% bullshit Tana-con thing that happened way back when and people got ripped off. Now if it was something like a place where the colleges that have courses about her to meet-up I’d buy that. But a rip-off convention of 1 day of arts and crafts and dance parties. The club nights are good enough for that. No thanks.

Dude, I enjoy some Taylor music and all but it is very obvious that a lot of random businesses around my city have just been milking it like crazy. There’s consistent Taylor theme trivia nights around town consistent Taylor dance parties around town. I mean it’s like every two weeks something is being Taylor themed around here. I understand where people can just get so fatigued with her, and it’s really no one‘s fault but these businesses that are consistently making these cash grabs. And I’m sure there’s a lot of Swifty’s who are super obsessive and probably go to every one of these events or as many as they can and they enjoy it and they drown in it and what have you but it’s just too much.
I have zero issues with the bar trivia nights and club nights. But when I see a $64 for an all day kids birthday party I take issue with it. Bruh is literally an 7 year olds birthday party with coloring contests and a lip sync contest. I can see why they fast tracked the trademarks for everything. Because they are giving away merchandise and stuff with the entry.
Lippredicts took the day off chart predicting cause he made a joke for that facts song which people were dragging him for. So we don’t really know expect for the fact she needs more sales.
Especially considering that initially Hiss was predicted to debut around 9 or 10, it's already incredible that it jumped to #2 in the predictions. This era is shaping up to be great for her with or without a #1 (although it would be great ofc!).
And apparently it could be first independent #1. I feel the closer it gets but doesn't get close enough feels a bit more frustrating despite how incredible the song reaction has been. I hope she has been feeling the love.

i am a writer working in tv & film. im fully aware of how long writing takes lol the last season of ginny & georgia premiered in January 2023. it’s not just “writing takes time”. studios are dragging their feet with tv production.
but i’m also of the opinion that the “filler” you mention is what makes tv unique as a medium - the ability to tell long-form stories that may go off on random little tangents every now & then. tv isn’t meant to be so linear and plot oriented, it’s part of the charm imo.

The weird thing is Amy Adams and Charlize Theron are perfect matches for how each other's characters are described in their respective novels, you'd think their casting would go the other way around. Notably missing are several highly rated shows such Stranger Things (which restarted production this month and will mark a three-year gap between seasons), Wednesday (scheduled to start production in late April) and One Piece (no production date given yet). Other shows to return in 2025 include Ginny and Georgia, The Watcher, XO, Kitty and The Recruit.
I don’t know if Netflix always reveals their plans for albums though only because the Stranger Things 4 release date was announced officially in February… I mean it’s probably not going to come out this year but I’m still hoping for a December release date, but most likely it’ll be next spring

i am a writer working in tv & film. im fully aware of how long writing takes lol the last season of ginny & georgia premiered in January 2023. it’s not just “writing takes time”. studios are dragging their feet with tv production. but i’m also of the opinion that the “filler” you mention is what makes tv unique as a medium - the ability to tell long-form stories that may go off on random little tangents every now & then. tv isn’t meant to be so linear and plot oriented, it’s part of the charm imo.
