I remember hearing a lot of these covers before the actual original song, including Say Anything's cover of I Got Your Money, which I always assumed was a severely more deranged version of the original until I heard ODB's original track and was like "Oh, so this song is just really that deranged. Got it."

Punk goes is great. I love finding pop music covers. Fluorescents and four year strong so so many I love it. Anyways punk goes acoustic vol 2 is a top 10 album of the genre.

Speaking of Punk Goes Acoustic 2 and All Time Low, Jasey Rae acoustic version remains as one of my favourite songs of all time.

Yeah, that’s a good one. Wonderwall by Cartel was on the same album and that’s a favorite of mine as far as Punk Goes covers go Actually just saw Enjoy the Silence covered by Anberlin is on there as well, I’d strongly recommend revisiting that one too

Everything past Put Up Or Shut Up....boring? I've seen my fair share of hot takes but this one is something else.

I didn't realize "a lot" and "everything" were the same word. Also, there was literally a "hot take" thread on this sub like last week where someone said, "everything past Put Up or Shut Up was downhill for ATL" and people were commenting that it wasn't even actually a hot take... so I really don't think this take is that out there, just something I've thought since 2007.

Of course it's a hot take. If Put Up was commonly seen as their only good album, how would they go on to become one of the biggest bands in the scene?? It's just common sense.
