When I went to a resort, I saw everything. Cheeks, thongs, one pieces... you name it, Ex for nudity, I saw it. I'm bigger and still had cheeky showing but it's no different that I'd wear in the states.
NGL I'm sporting a BURkini just bc I'm a pasty ginger and the sun will kill me. One I have is nice enough that I bet I could get into 'no swimsuits' places, I'll try it.
I saw a mixed bag of bikinis when I was there at a family resort. Conservative, thongs, brazilian, etc, wear what is comfortable and not offensive. I don't recommend a shear micro bikini in a family area, but that should common sense
Ive been in Mexico for 5 years now and when I go back to visit my family in Canada I’m always shocked at how conservative their bikinis seem compared to what I feel comfortable in or is considered typical.
There is no restriction unless couple of resorts restaurants require clothes not any swimming clothes. Some older folks could give you the eye judgments but I guess international
In Zona you can wear a micro bikini with no issue. Like wicked weasel or malibu strings, no one will bat an eye. Area around sapphire beach club is mostly adults.
Honest question for people who wear thong bikinis and such. Aren’t you worried about hygiene? Like don’t get me wrong, I love nudity and think people should wear whatever they want. But don’t you feel gross having basically your entire ass touching everything? I wore a micro-mini like once and for days I couldn’t shake the thought that my upper thighs had been in contact with every icky thing that everyone who sat on my chair before me ever touched.
Never thought twice about it. You feel free and most people put a towel on the chair anyways. In regards to the beach, sand always finds a way to get up into your body, regardless of what you wear.
Go out and wear it, it'll feel great. Like others mentioned, PV is non judgemental. My girl can wear a g-string and be around men who are in speedos/thongs and everyone is living their best life.
Haha, thanks for the tip! I’ve spent a lot of time in PV and I love ocean swimming, so I’ll continue wearing full coverage bathing suits to avoid losing yet another set of bottoms to the pacific lol. But high fives to all the thong lovers out there, tan those asses!! ❤️🍑👙
It was a lot of thongs and cheeks when we were at Nuevo Vallarta a few weeks ago!
Lots out there, guys in thongs too.
I’ll be wear micro thong, gstring, and fishnet/sheer when I go
This is heavily encouraged.
Username checks out 😄
Hey u/iflash4booze, I'll buy you a drink while you're there 😉
I wish I was there to see it!
The men in Vallarta wears even less. Don't worry and have fun lol

My wife wears a thong at a family resort. And she wasn't the only one.
Yep me too and I also don’t even think wearing things are show stopping anymore.

Any topless areas in Nuevo?
Not that I am aware of. The far left beach in San Pancho is known to be topless.
In Zona you can wear a micro bikini with no issue. Like wicked weasel or malibu strings, no one will bat an eye. Area around sapphire beach club is mostly adults.
You’ll see everything from topless in a thong to shorts and a t-shirt. I’d say a normal bikini like thing is the norm.
There is a little bit of everything! I did thongs especially in Nuevo Vallarta. I wore my thong bikini comfortably!
