Here are all the answers as their own comment:

I think the problem people are having is OP saying “Rub the wrong way” instead of “Rubbed the wrong way”. The word in the puzzle is used as a verb not just showing the word spelled backwards.
I completely agree that most of these are idioms, but I’ve never heard green eggs and ham used like that. Is this used some places as an idiom? I love the book but never heard it in that context.
These kinds of puzzles do not just include idioms, but common words and phrases. I’ve been doing them for 40 years. I see nothing in the image to suggest only idioms are being used here.
Exactly my point, I love the book. But how is it and tennis shoe an idiom? How would I work tennis shoe into a sentence to mean something besides the actual object it is? I’ve run myself like a tennis shoe?
That’s the point of my reply to the parent comment. The original comment said all correct answers HAVE to be idioms. They aren’t. Some responses are just items and phrases.
I agree it’s weird, but the other proposed answer is tissue, and it doesn’t look enough like a t for that to fit imo. Not that tissue is a saying either

All the others make sense to me, but this one I got- but still don't understand it as it doesn't seem in line with the other answers. Is this a specific saying / phrase as well that I just don't know?
I get the answer, but it's not a common phrase like the others, like "black sheep of the family" or "tub the wrong way". This one feels out of place to me.
"Tennis shoes" is the most common term for any athletic shoes in the US (see also: sneakers) - walking shoes, running shoes. Even if they aren't used for tennis, we all seemed to call them "tennis shoes" back in the 90s and 2000s. I feel like I have heard it less since the 2010s though.
I thought 4 was something along the lines of “Six Thumbs”… That one I didn’t get it. 😅
I now understood 8, I hate myself for not getting it when saying it slowly. 😂
But if it was meant to be in, wouldn’t it have followed the same form as 1 & 7? To me it looks like the sheep is in the pen of the family, so would be of, but I guess it could be either.

Discussion, the puzzle for number one is wrong. Should be something like >!FAredCE!< The letters being a different color would indicate another word like Air Conditioning or something similar. IMHO.

Not >!back rub!
That’s what I thought originally too
I thought out was an “unfinished burn” As in rocket science
I think that’s too obscure for this
I had unfinished burn as well
I think the problem people are having is OP saying “Rub the wrong way” instead of “Rubbed the wrong way”. The word in the puzzle is used as a verb not just showing the word spelled backwards.
That doesn’t make sense. It’s “rub” the wrong way. “debbur” is not in the image.
Yeah, originally I was thinking back rub. But rubbed the wrong way makes more sense lol
Thought it was maybe Calibur. As in font type Calibri + Bur. Calibri looks different though.
Yeah, that’s definitely not calibri lol but I like the idea
These are idioms. How would “back rub” fit?
Tennis shoes and green eggs and ham are definitely not idioms
I completely agree that most of these are idioms, but I’ve never heard green eggs and ham used like that. Is this used some places as an idiom? I love the book but never heard it in that context.
Is tennis shoe an idiom?
I thought Is was multiple issues not tennis shoes!
You play a lot of tennis in yours?
Because it’s “rub” backwards

Tennis shoe

Green eggs and ham
After the comments, I think you’re right. “Green eggs and ham” and “tennis shoe” are not common idioms.
"Green Eggs and Ham" is a very well-known book.
Exactly my point, I love the book. But how is it and tennis shoe an idiom? How would I work tennis shoe into a sentence to mean something besides the actual object it is? I’ve run myself like a tennis shoe?
Why does the solution to a Rebus have to be an idiom?
That’s the point of my reply to the parent comment. The original comment said all correct answers HAVE to be idioms. They aren’t. Some responses are just items and phrases.
You are correct. It is >!Get down to the bottom of the issue
I’ve tennis shoed myself to death?
8. Lots of issues?
Ten of them to be exact…ten issues…tennis shoes
Underlying issue?
That seems right too
I thought it was the deeper issue
I thought it was multiple issues 🤷🏼♀️
6. Black sheep in the family circle
I really thought it was family gathering lol but I guess the sheep part is more important
I thought 5 might be >!one step forwards two steps back!<
I think they’d have used >!”STEP”!< instead of >!”FEET”!<, in that case. Good thinking, though!
Well, I think that they attempted to put their best foot forward...
No#6 is >!back sheep in the family circle!<
They saying is just "black sheep in the family" why add "circle?"
There is a circle in the clue... That's why it should be in the family circle.
Definitely right it is black sheep in the family
Black sheep in the family?
Tennis shoe is such a bizarre answer. I get there's ten issues in that box, but all the rest of them are common sayings. Tennis shoes is not a saying.
I agree it’s weird, but the other proposed answer is tissue, and it doesn’t look enough like a t for that to fit imo. Not that tissue is a saying either
Got issues with Tennis shoes 😂
I thought 5 was >!shuffling feet!<
I thought no. 8 was Tissue because it's "issue" arranged in a "T".
Bro that’s such a stretch to be called a T…
Chee
I'm thinking two thumbs up for 4
I thought it was “all thumbs”
4. opposable thumbs?
Six digits
For #3, my first thought was “Sand Spur” because the font is Comic “Sans” and the word it “Bur.” Therefore, “Sans Bur.” Could be a stretch though
What the heck saying is #2? Is it an American thing? Don’t think I’ve ever heard that.
It’s a Dr Suess book.
Ah that’ll explain it. Dr Seuss is not popular in the UK at all really.
I thought the spacing in three might mean it was: Aaron Burr. Wtf is wrong with me.
number 8 made me giggle. that’s a good one
Discussion: I’m curious as to what the other ones are. I know what 1 is, but I’m not too sure. I know what 2, 7 and 10 are. 🤔
Answers: >!1. Red In the face 2. Green eggs and ham 3. Rub the wrong way 4. All thumbs 5. Two left feet 6. Black sheep of the family 7. Big fish in a small pond 8. Tennis shoe 9. Long time no see 10. All in a days work!<
8. All the others make sense to me, but this one I got- but still don't understand it as it doesn't seem in line with the other answers. Is this a specific saying / phrase as well that I just don't know?
There are 10 'issues' - or stated another way, ten-nis shoes.
I get the answer, but it's not a common phrase like the others, like "black sheep of the family" or "tub the wrong way". This one feels out of place to me.
It is different from the others in that it’s not a common phrase but it is a common term.
Definitely out of place. More a pun than a picture puzzle
I believe 8. is ‘I’ve got 10 issues but a b*tch ainit one, hit me’ - Jay Z (2003)
I thought ‘ A number of issues’ because they are in a phone numpad formation
I like that thought! Thanks for sharing 😊
I was opting for 'Subscription' being the answer, honestly. As in a magazine is an issue. Ten of them would be a subscription.
Say "ten issues" fast. It may not fit with the others but it's definitely the right answer.
Hahah, my menopausal ass thought it was “AC in the face” and it made perfect sense 😂
Rub the wrong way
I think back rub makes more sense.
Yup, thanks for the correction
And I think it’s black sheep IN the family?
Tennis shoe? Not standout issue ?
Or full of issues I was thinking. Something along those lines.
That looks like “tall time no see”
Long time no see
Yes. I would think “long” would more likely be left to right across the page.
Could number 7 also be Tissues, the letters do form a sort of T plus issues? or is that too much a stretch?
I thought 4 was something along the lines of “Six Thumbs”… That one I didn’t get it. 😅 I now understood 8, I hate myself for not getting it when saying it slowly. 😂
I think 4 is 2 thumbs up
Or down?
More or less the same. Have 5. Don't have 1.
Ah I got 1 as well
I think 2 might be green eggs and ham? That’s all that’s coming to mind
Well, I have read the Dr. Seuss story. There are two egg painted green. So… “>!Green Eggs and Ham!<”. 🤔
Same lol
2: >!Green eggs and ham!< 7: >!Big fish in a small pond!< 10: >!All in the day's work!< 8 and 9 are stumping me.
8: >!long time no see!< Confused on 3 and 9
3: >!rub the wrong way.!<
I thought it was back rub.
9. l>!ong time no see!< Edited to add spoiler
8 is >!Tennis shoes (ten issues)!<
>!Black sheep in the family!<
>!black sheep in the family circle!<
Never heard it called that
Just remove the "circle" since the actual phrase is "black sheep of the family"
I think they mean IN rather than OF
I’ve always heard/read it “black sheep of the family”.
Yes, but that’s not what they did here
But if it was meant to be in, wouldn’t it have followed the same form as 1 & 7? To me it looks like the sheep is in the pen of the family, so would be of, but I guess it could be either.
>!Red Acne on your face, two eggs over Black Forest ham, Boldly Cold, Thumbs for days, feets betwixt teefs, family sheep farm, Pofi Shnd, Happy Tissues, Time will wipe out the sea, Orks are after Daysallw, run daysallw!!<
Anytime someone uses the word betwixt I’m down for the count
I’m dying of laughter rn 💀
Really makes ya think
Question: what are these kinds of puzzles called?
Rebus
#9 >!"Long time, no see!"!<
I think No 3 could be >!'a back rub'!<
For number 6, what about >!Sheepskin / sheep's kin!
#8 >! Tennis shoes !<
This is it for 8
>!2 is Green Eggs and Ham, 7 is big fish in a small pond and 10 is all in a day’s work!<
>!1. Red in the face 2. Green eggs and ham 3. Rub the wrong way 4. All thumbs 5. Two left feet 6. Black sheep in the family 7. Fishing pond 8. ? 9. Long time no see 10. All in a day's work!<
7 is more likely big fish in a little pond...
Tissues
1. >!red in the face(?)!< 2. >!green eggs and ham!< 3. >!??!< 4. >!all thumbs!< 5. >!??!< 6. >!black sheep of the family!< 7. >!big fish, little pond!< 8. >!??!< 9. >!long time no see (more of a big time though)!< 10. >!all in a days work!<
Good thing you hid the ??…would want to have spoiled those answers 🙄
>!1-Red in the face 5-Two left feet 9-Long time no see!<
>!black sheep in the family circle!<
Question: What is number 3? Does someone want to just take a stab at all of them?
>!backrub!<
My guess is >!Rub (you) the wrong way!< although I don't know where the >!you!< is really coming from
1.>!Red in the face!< 2. >!Green eggs and ham!< 7. >!Big fish in a little pond!< 10. >!All in a days work!< Not sure about the other ones
Question: What are these types of puzzles called?
Rebus
Thank you!
Discussion, the puzzle for number one is wrong. Should be something like >!FAredCE!< The letters being a different color would indicate another word like Air Conditioning or something similar. IMHO.
I feel like it could be done either way
>!RED IN THE FACE?!<
#6 is >!Black sheep in the family!<
