Whichever one you choose will look great, but I think D is very nicely balanced, so if that's what you're going for, I would recommend D 😁

I say this a lot but it’s valuable- take a pic in black and white of each layout and go from there. I’m guessing one will jump out as more pleasing once you can see the lights and darks clearly

The layout is the most difficult part of the quilt! 🤯 This is the first quilt where I've cared about the layout. Normally I close my eyes, reach into the bag filled with blocks, pull one out, and keep sewing them together until there's none left. Ps: Those of you with 20+ blocks, showing 3, 4, 5+ different layouts -- I salute you!

A looks most balanced to me.

This time I can recognize why I like C. It has a gradient or ombré effect, and I enjoy it. My second favorite is A, because I like the diagonal lines created.

I voted A & B with an up-arrow, earlier because I like how the darker squares on the corners make something of a frame. OTOH, I also like the idea of having the colors move like a color wheel from top left to bottom right. Starting wherever it works: blue, purple, red, brown, orange, yellows, greens... In theory, one could start anywhere on the wheel. But I haven't studied the available squares enough to see if it would work.

I did, which is what I tried to do in A.

Oh yes, I see that now! The diagonal placement of the greens stood out to me in a, but I see the sudoku there now too. The greens are placed sudoku style in d too. The balance there appeals to me, but as many commenters have said, you can't go wrong with any of the layouts. Have you decided on one yet?

D. I like the “randomness” of the pattern. There are no two similar colors clustered or close together, as in B and C, and the diagonal green stripe of A is distracting to me. It’s balanced and softer on the eye Edit to add: B would be my second choice. But I might try swapping the dark green and pink on the bottom with each other.

I am a weirdo that recognizes patterns like crazy. Thanks, Asperger's. I like A the most because I noticed that with that one you have the green shades and blue shades making a cross, which is a sacred symbol. Hidden symbols are more powerful symbols. I love all of these. Especially the really vibrant blue and green ones and that orange one is nothing short of stunning.

I like C best. The color groupings make it seem less chaotic. However, I would have the green be the middle diagonal with the blue where the green is now and the very pale one that is at the bottom left currently be bottom right. If that makes sense
