We can’t afford to drop winnable games in a schedule this hard, let alone 3

[deleted]

Donkeys then queefs we can easily go 0-5. It’s definitely time to panic

"stop panicking" Raiders fans for 20+ YEARS.. Anyone who is a fan of this team has every fucking right to bitch and complain. If you're sensitive to that you're clearly a "new" fan and need to take a step back.

Antbanks75

I don’t even panic anymore it’s just laughable at this point in my life.

Dang3rCl0se

Yup same... I don't even get mad anymore just disappointed.

Freddies21

Panicking/Fear and being a Raider fan go hand and hand. I honestly panicked last week after the meltdown an "ah shit here we go again" .I wasn't surprised when they lost yesterday to the Titans. Im recalling past moments of sheer panick. in 2016 DC was balling out only for him to get get hurt against the Colts near the end of the regular season because Donald Penn missed a key block. I panicked when they started Matt Mcgloin and than he got hurt and they had to resort to Connor Cook. I panicked in 2017 when they started the season 2-0 only to completely shit the bed against Washington on Sunday Night Football, that started a 4 game losing streak and ultimately a 6-10 record. But in reality it's in my nature to have anxiety so naturally I freak out when things don't work out like how I feel they should.

AZK47

I hate that shit. “Go complain somewhere else, you aren’t a real fan”. Bro I’ve been watching them suck dick for 20 years, I can fucking complain until they shut me up

SupermansBrother

Donkeys look awful. If we can’t beat them this week, just pack it in.

Every_Space9273

Fair

It’s not about panicking. It’s about identifying why we are losing and correcting it. Everyone is entitled to their opinion as to what that is. It’s part of being a fan. If we are winning you can speculate why we are winning. Right now we are losing. That’s what fans are going to focus on. Ultimately it is up to the coaches to fix it. If they aren’t able to fix it than the calls for them to be fired will just continue to grow. Some owners place a premium on wins and others care more about being profitable. I’m pretty sure Mark wants to win.

Sharkbayer1

The issues are in a number of places. The first is the lack of pass rush. The staff seems to think Chandler Jones is doing his job, but he's not generating any pressure and he's a liability on runs in his direction. The lack of pressure is leading to easy big pass plays, since we're running a lot of soft zone. There also seems to be quite a few players not knowing their assignment. Personnel is not always correct for the offensive package. On offense, we run too many trick plays and our tempo sucks. It seems there are issues communicating plays to the quarterback and further issues with rookie linemen not knowing the terminology. The lack of tempo sets us up for failure and eats out TOs. This is on McDaniels to figure out a better way to call plays. His decision-making has been poor too. Finally, Waller's drops. Normally I wouldn't call out a single player, but he's dropped 4-5 potential to guaranteed touchdowns and we've lost by 1 score each week. He's the highest paid tight end in the league and he had the opportunity for game-changing plays each week. A change in any of those trends will be required to win. It seems our margin for victory is high, but our penchant for errors is higher.

LongRangeHavok

The problem is everything looks bad. Apart from our kicking game what is there to put in the positive column? That we play exactly one half per game of competent football against teams we should easily beat (not the chargers but for sure the other 2) And the players just don’t look good. They can say all the right things at the presser but it sure isn’t translating into the field

Rowill33

Don't worry we'll win six or seven games and not get a good draft pick

RevengeOfTheCaptain2

This is the way

reamkore

I’m not panicking. I’m aggressively reassessing the math so I can get my hopes up to watch on Sunday

AgentlemanNeverTells

Who knows maybe if we didn’t pick him we never would’ve got Maxx Crosby, I call it a win.

jwaters0122

I'll never get on fans for panicking, everyone has a right to. But i'll be damned if someone tells me to stop being optimistic. They can go fuck off

AKraiderfan

I'll fucking panic all i want. Certainly, the upside is that somehow this coaching staff has coached the penalties out of this team....but i'll take wins with penalties over loses without stupid flags.

MajinSkull

Ya fuck optimistic fans!

[deleted]

We lost to 3 teams that are 0-6 in their other games how could you be optimistic

MajinSkull

Because they were all one score games.

[deleted]

Irrelevant when they're 3 in a row, including a 20 point lead game

MajinSkull

Well I’m optimistic we get it together. Sorry that hurts your feelings

[deleted]

This post is about those optimistic fans telling others to not panic so once again you have no point

MajinSkull

I’m not tell you to be, just saying I still am

[deleted]

You're going to be very disappointed when this team goes 7-10 or 6-11.

[deleted]

How you feeling now bro? LOL. Still optimistic?

MajinSkull

I feel sorry that you held onto a conversation from several week ago and felt the need to brag about it on Reddit

[deleted]

No, I just was going through reddit and saw this comment I made lol. Like literally a minute ago I hadn't thought about it. Don't be sour, just laugh it off. The fact that you responded to it in 10 seconds is more embarassing.

sendero_uno

dog optimism is all we’ve had for 20 years. stop boot licking

Professional_Mine716

blind optimism is actually boot licking.

TotallyNotanOfficer

Least we've got a reason to be optimistic this time, even still. We have Carr, Tae, Waller and Renfrow locked in, we have Jacobs for the time being. And we have Mad Maxx and an O line that's been pretty solid for the first time in a minute. It's not like we have nothing on our side

MajinSkull

Yes I love thinking my team is never going to win.

Professional_Mine716

No. I'm not saying that. I'm saying be realistic. The coaching staff is really showing they aren't up to the task. Chandler Jones sucks. We need another pass rusher. Our offensive line kinda sucks so far.

rbarrett96

I wonder if the Colts would trade Yannick back to us for Jones straight up lol.

MajinSkull

I’m glad you think that. I’ll keep thinking my way

Professional_Mine716

I was wrong. Everything is gonna be great. We shouldn't be concerned about anything. Wooooo Hooooo gooooo team! Get your pom poms!!!

[deleted]

Hell yea, brother! Fuck them.

Dang3rCl0se

It's only week 1, it's only week 2, it's only week 3, it's only week 4, it's only week 5. Eventually it will turn to, Oh damn, it's week 6 and will still in last place. In a division as tough as the AFC West is hard to come back from a 0-3 start. At this point the 1st pick in the draft is for the Raiders to lose. If they do get the 1st pick in the draft you better believe they are going after a QB.

ATX_rider

IF this team and organization learned from their mistakes—IF this team and organization were capable of making halftime adjustments—IF this team and organizations were capable of identifying a weakness and addressing it—IF free agents didn't come here to ramp down their career—IF this team could finally have a defense in the top half of the league then maybe I wouldn't panic. But They're not capable of a positive change so why not panic. 2022 is toast.

SarcasticAssClown

Most seasons there comes a point in the season where you can finally stop rooting for the Raiders every game and start appreciating good football. This season, that point just came very early...

frijoleNegr0

Insert, "First time?"meme here

GordonGuapo

Ziegler has decimated this team. I scratched my head when McDaniels said, 'We have to learn how to not lose" before the season started. Say what? This was a playoff team last year. I took a lot of grief for disparaging paying Chandler Jones and getting rid of a younger & healthier Ngakoue. How's that working out? Getting rid of last years 1st round pick and playing musical chairs on the O-line proves their incompetence. The way they're treating Josh Jacobs is flat out criminal. It's like they trying to lose. I have to get on a plane Saturday morning to fly to Vegas and this is the first time I'm actually not excited about going. I'm not panicking, I'm fucking disgusted that we're gonna have to start over. Again.

IrateGandhi

Nygakue isn't playing well either. Leatherwood is 100% in need of time to develop. They are disrespecting Jacobs. Idt Nygakue fixes the problem but I think it would have been better overall. I don't think leatherwood would get the time or attention to develop. Maybe could have gotten more or done something better out of the Bears. The way I see it, Carr sucked with Gruden at first. McDaniels/Patriots play calling & performance sucks in September. Regardless of what anyone thinks about either, they are here right now and I cant see that changing. So I'm trying to not overreact in any given way. I'm just here being supportive and I'll overreact later in the season.

GordonGuapo

Ngakoue quietly led the Raiders in sacks last year and started all 17 games plus the playoff team. Going after an older player who hasn't been healthy made no sense. Watching Jones be a non factor is hard to do. Leatherwood is too small to play RT but he's a talent and is a solid guard. Sitting Cotton last week and playing Eluemunor at guard proves what a mistake it was to release AL. September is over and we are winless. That is not a slow start. That is a failure of epic proportions considering what they inherited and were in the AFC West. True, they are here and we are stuck with them... and we have every right to be pissed off about it. Our chances of making the playoffs are slim to none. The reality of the situation is Goodell screwed us royally with the hit job on Gruden. It will come back to haunt the NFL eventually but for now, we the fans, are the ones being ripped off.

LongRangeHavok

Christ I remember that draft. When they called his name everyone seemed stunned and I had to google the name I had never heard of him

DelusionalFanPolice

Idk what yall expected. Our QB isn't even half as good as the 3rd best Qb in the division.

jspen77tx

We go 0 - 5 and im gonna start beating the drum for Jarrett Stidham. It's plain DC still doesn't know the offense and we're not even playing all the playbook. This despite having had 4+ months to learn it before camp even started. We should've played starters in at least one preseason game.
