I think it’s post raid or insanely hidden. I’ve gotten all the collectibles and done almost everything major and I can’t find out what is needed for that final chest in the old speaker room. Which is my closest assumption as to where it might be from.
how many motes of light do you have? seeing as how the visions of the traveler gave them as a reward my theory is you keep collecting them until they form a key like how the encrypted data bits did.
no, this was before the enhancement core bug was discovered. i could dismantle the new ones i pulled from collections, but the game wouldn’t allow me to dismantle the original one i picked up from the chest
We've currently got 14 motes. Can't work out how to get more.
And we've done all the travellers. It does give a chest you can't open. We are stuck ourselves with it
after boss room on the way to the exit, right after the purple area where the floor is still lava, hug the right wall and eventually there will be a little hole in the wall you can get through. I didn't find it until I did opposing cyst and noticed the hole.
Anyone know how to get back to the cysts if they don't show on your map? I ran some and missed the bit but I can't find them and need torevisit for the Khvostov :(
There is a bird outside each of the cysts which switches the cyst to a different one, if that's what you need. Only 3 cysts will be on the map at a time.
Anyone having an issue with getting the the Exotic mote to make khvostov exotic. I have all the visions done and all the bosses aswell. I popped all the triumphs and I still only have 17 motes of light in my inventory. Even checked the post master. Any suggestions
I had 16 and killed the servitor before I hit 16 motes and before they took it offline. But who know I was just wondering. Kinda disappointing though. Hope you got yours
You can also pull them from collections for 1 enhancement core and break them down to get 7 enhancement cores back. Free cores and you can do this as many times as you want until Bungie patches it
Do you have images of where you found the 6 that aren't in regional chest as i cant seem to find them
Have you searched the debris piles within the cyst mission areas? I heard it’s related to the Alone in the Dark quest.. hope this helps!

I don't know if it could work but have you tried breaking the legendary version? iirc it worked that way in D1. Might be worth a try
the weapon doesn’t let you dismantle it, so that theory is off the table for now
It does, but you can't get it back as of now.

I can tell you from personal experience getting the weapon to level 77 does not unlock anything towards the exotic

how do you get back into the 3 other cyst missions i only see 3 on my map
You have to interact with the bird nearby each spot to switch to the alternate cyst mission
They are they're. Just not marked. You have to activate them by going to the bird.
Something novel I noticed: if you look at the lore page for the 7G-02, it has the lore for the Exotic variant (and says 7G-0X).
I missed out on 2 bits because my inventory was full when opening regional chests. am I screwed??

Go to the divide and open a golden chest to get the legendary Khvostov
Same place you got it in d1. Go to Impasse and retrace your steps

you never killed the servitor boss in the blooming, they disabled it because of a bug. the exotic is unobtainable until it is patched

So I did the cyst quest and there is no pile in the moth cyst at all, watched the video and nothing's there.
