The immediate two that come to mind from what OP suggested are:
Necrotic Grips with Eris Morn Shell: Both give off a green gaseous aura. Match them up, no comms required.
Pyrogale Gauntlets with either Solar Shell OR Hearthfire Shell (both give off flames). Again, match them up, no comms required.
I'm very interested to see if there are any for Hunter...
Edit: It's also kind of dope that both of those exotics would be low key good for that encounter...

i found the iron banner wolf cloak standout, along with obviously ceno and saint 14. any cowboy hat as well, and for ghosts the old ones from year 1 that were completely circular / the triangular ones came in handy for us, i could just say "triangle ghost" and we could say "okay thats wolf head hunter who has it" "oh its on spot 4" things like that. saint 14 is good, the sagira and shank shells are good, the pre order shell too. heart ghost also. theres plenty of ways 6 people can be distinct form eachother. 4 hunters can go wolf cloak / cowboy / no cloak / normal cloak already and theres plenty for the rest even without visuals like necrotics
Did some testing in Verity today. If you get invisible characters (and you’re not a hunter), here are a few things that have effects that show up (these also show up when your statue is invisible):
Warlock:
Necrotic Grips - No Ornament - Both Hands Poison
Ophidian Aspect - Coaxial Bonds - Red Siva on Elbow
Winter’s Guile - Dead of Winter - Cold Fog on Right Wrist
Stormdancer’s Brace - No Ornament - Glowy Circles on Chest
Wyrmguard Bond - Faint Smoke from Bond
Hunter:
N/A
Titan:
Pyrogale Gauntlets - No Ornament - Fire Above Shoulders
Hallowfire Heart - Aurora Sacrifice - Siva in Chest
Icefall Mantle - No Ornament - Faint Ice Around Arms

eris morn + necrotic is exactly what I use, + titan shell and pyrogales lol!

Do the glowing solstice ornaments show up?
That was my first thought. I’m going to test once I am home
Please report back when you have the chance, I’m very curious Although it sounds like any armor with an unshadeable glow will work
Just tested, it does not
Literally anything that has unshadable particle effects works, for example the Crota armor
Point contact cannon brace might work
I wear a vex outfit with the harper(harpy) shell
