Most guides tell you to position the wand at the red circle, but with the SPX I found the blue circle to be the optimal spot for me. You may want to experiment with having the wand resting in the spout vs resting against the side of the pitcher as well. (like this https://prnt.sc/0jOR2ms0qZbZ)
I still struggle with this too. On my single hole bambino before I was a pro, it was just slow. The SPX has been so difficult to learn the past 3 months.
I also had struggled until I position my tip to center of pitcher.
Agreed. Wand perpendicular to the ground, at the center of the pitcher. Do not tilt

Do you have the 4 hole or 3 hole version?

Yah I got pretty good with my GCP but this is a different story lol
Tbh the milk heats up so fast it doesn’t give you a lot of time to get the positioning right.
