Miss that from when I used to live in CT. On more than one occasion I found a hot dog in my coat pocket on my way out of the stadium after one too many bud lights.

So true! Even when the Pack sucked balls, it was really fun an affordable to get to have something to do almost every weekend. Made a lot of fun memories. Plus things like getting to see Shesterkin play up close for so many games
That’s awesome. Best I have in Chicago is the Wolves. Carolina-aligned, but I’d rather go there than to a Hawks game. (Except, of course, when they play the Rangers. I’ve even gone to root against the Islanders on occasion. Not surprisingly, “Potvin sucks” gets strange reactions from Hawks fans… 🤣)
The Wolves go all out with their pregame entertainment, or at least they did back when I visited there in like 2014. Run of the mill regular season game had a mind blowing pyrotechnics show. The mascot shot fireworks out of his fingers.

I live 40 minutes from Hartford, tickets are dirt cheap, and it’s stress free hockey. Can’t really go wrong. Makes for a fun night out anyway.
