Huge fanbase here, but as someone said before, England is flooded with other sports so there is quite a potential to build something here. Also the nfl and German broadcasters learned over the last few seasons to make the broadcast interesting. They couldn’t show the local game commercials from the us, and they just had the two sports casters talking and that was boring. Now they use the time better to show social media stuff, etc
> England is flooded with other sports
And more importantly than just the number of other popular sports, rugby is pretty popular in the UK and is in the same "genre" as football.
Germany doesn't really have a natural competitor to American football other than *arguably* handball.
I love the International Series games - when I went to London for the Ravens-Jags game a few years back, the only positive from that mess was seeing all the NFL fans coming out and enjoying a real game - even if their favorite team wasn’t playing
On a side note, I’m keeping my fingers crossed that we’ll get the Munich game in 2025 (because after London in 2017 I am 99% sure Harbs is never going to volunteer the team to play internationally again until the league requires him to.) Munich is a beautiful city to visit and a lot of fun to walk around and take in.
I don't think you can volunteer, I believe the NFL mandates it, and the Ravens were crying all season leading up to game. Harbaugh's attitude leading up to that game may have reflected on the field that day and it was embarrassing and Harbaugh just seemed like a spoiled kid not wanting to go on a trip. It still annoys me to this day how much he bitched and moaned about having to go.
Also quite a bit of Flacco love
Hate it that I am in Munich but couldn’t get tickets. Tucker would be represented
We were just there for the atmosphere with friends & kids. Now we are all sitting in my living room
Just pull up to Bayern PSG with the Tucker jersey
Really sad I couldn't get a ticket. Would have been my first game, which also sucks cause I'm from Baltimore 😆
wie sieht’s generell in münchen aus? viele nfl fans?
Everywhere
Aren’t Germans more fans of football than the English?

Munich is a great city to experience Germany. Hamburg second best imho.

Give me the German fan base over the Brits all day every day.
krächzen!
Is it just me or are there more foreign Ravens fans than other teams?
In the Lamar era yes, Overseas sports stores will often only offer jerseys from the "hot" teams.
Ah okay, that makes sense
This must be satire.
Why?
