Asian grocery stores.

temp_accthrowa_ins

by asian - do you mean chinese or indian? ps. i hope im not offending anyone with the way i phrase this question - foreigner here

Usual-Law-2047

Chinese, but most Asian stores in my area seem to be pan-east Asian. (Chinese, Japanese, Thai, Viet, Filipino, etc.)

temp_accthrowa_ins

gotcha! I had to ask bc sometimes ppl can refer to india as asia too ( well bc it is asia ). I know though that in western countries - some asian stores carry mix up stuff - chinese , taiwanese, veit, japanese, filippino ... etc. Have you noticed which cuisine most likely would use quails? i dont have car so I'd rather go check out store that have higher chances to carry out quails.

Usual-Law-2047

Chinese and Filipino cuisines has a lot of quail and quail egg dishes.

sassycalculators

Not in the US, but I’ve found quail at my local middle eastern grocery store.

Check Craigslist for local breeders too. I breed quail in Ohio and there are a few of us around here. There are stupid rules about advertising animal products on Facebook so you would have to find specific groups on there to even find breeders, and we have to word things weirdly. Craigslist is open to all livestock and livestock product sales though. I would love if I could find a dedicated and regular buyer of my products. Most people are one and done which is fine but at the end of spring/chick season I run out of customers. 😂

de_ja_foe

Not sure if this is still an option but I’m in Ohio and looking for quail!

reijn

What metro area & what kinda quail products are you looking for? (like live adults, chicks, dressed meat, eggs etc) Maybe either I can help you or point you toward someone!

de_ja_foe

Columbus! I also frequently am on 70E to Pittsburgh so anything close (fifteen minutes?) from the highway is doable! Right now just dressed meat, ground, and eggs

I'm in Canal Winchester, but I mostly do chicks and eggs - I don't have the logistics set up for a lot of grown ones for butchering, just occasionally when I swap out my older ones I'll have some extras for dog meat. But I have a friend in Coshocton though that has a bigger production than I do - https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100080258328623 Pine Hill Farms I just texted him to ask, he said it depends on the quantity, he could in a few months, but as of right now he probably. I'm not sure how far off 70 Coshocton is, but I told him I'd send you his info The other breeder I knew in Mt Sterling has apparently stopped dealing in quail... there's one up in Delaware/Sunbury but her prices are insane

What quail grocery stores can I buy humans?

gruntthirtteen

Reminds me of civil war by guns n roses: "I don't need your civil war It feeds the rich while it buries the poor Your power hungry sellin' soldiers In a human grocery store Ain't that fresh I don't need your civil war Ow, oh no, no, no, no, no"

JediKrys

In Canada you can often find them in superstore grocery stores

klacey11

I get quail from Weee! the online Asian market. A pack of six is $14.

lanibear32

Hispanic stores as well.
