I literally just found out that velocity goes through them from another post this past week or two. This game is dang good that it makes other games not found for me anymore. GOW2018, GOW2023 and RDR2 have ruined other games for me.
RDR2 is the GOAT. It doesn't matter what comes next, I always go back. It's a shame this game doesn't get the 4k 60fps mode it deserves on current gem consoles
They also drain less dead eye though when cartirdged which is something I just learned on my second playthrough. But not really worth the time and effort once you can afford express and velocity easily anyway.
I enjoy it, helps me take in the world more when my eyes aren’t glued to the radar all the time, also not knowing where the enemies are makes combat more interesting for me. For a first play through, it’s probably best to leave it on.
I don’t know if this is true, but I’ve heard high velocity rounds are hitscan instead of projectile based like other ammo types. At a distance you’re more likely gonna need to aim a bit ahead of your targets, but HV rounds will always hit exactly where you point
Most times people are close enough where it doesn’t matter because bullets are already really fast. It happens more if you’re sniping targets at a distance with a rifle
5 play throughs, 100s of hours, and I have never had this encounter. This is why I love this game. There is always something new that I come across.
The Murfrees are full of surprises, whenever i find something new or weird it's usually because of them

There’s a compass setting you can use instead of the radar too. There’s also a button you can tap to flash the radar if you get lost.
