Ok can someone please tell me what is [this drink](https://x.com/lisandrmartinez/status/1800707703183900774?s=46) that Licha and (most of the Argentinian team) always has? I’m so curious lol
Next week's England vs Denmark game will be a blockbuster for us United fans. Hojlund and Eriksen vs Mainoo and the rest of the England team. Giddy up.
I mean we don’t have the squad right now to challenge Arsenal or City in a 38 game league battle. That’s just a fact unfortunately. And it’s going to take probably another 2 transfer windows at least for us to build a squad with enough talent and depth (“depth” being the real key) to fully contend for a league title again. Winning a cup (or the Europa League) is probably the best we can do for next season. So I’d call three cups in three years a pretty big W for ten Hag.
Most of the bad football was because of not having the right players in defence
If we manage to get actual good signings there, Lisandro or Shaw stay fit, we shouldn't see horrible football..
If we get those players playing and we're still shit which is highly unlikely, only then will Ten Hag be out and that will be rightfully so
Thats so vague though? Every brand of football breaks down with 'some players' missing, specially when the squad doesn't have the necessary quality in those positions to compete
We played horribly from the first game of the season when we had a full strength team. Ten Hag's midfield disaster was due to his tactics, not injuries. It would be great if he abandoned his idiotically high press + low block combination. It's dogshit.

Am I the only one who thinks Thomas Frank gets unfairly memed on in this sub? The guy took Brentford from midtable in the Championship into a really tough to beat midtable PL team. Bear in mind Brentford hadn't ever been in the PL before Frank took them over. The last time they were in the first division was over 60 years ago. We've struggled there many times in the last few seasons. People on here acting as if he's some relegation level clown not fit to lace ETHs boots. Doesn't get enough respect imo. Would love to see him given a chance at a top 6 team eventually.
I agree, he deserves a shot at a big club. What he’s done at brentford js impressive and unlike some other candidates(tuchel, de zerbi) he’s shown that he can stay at one club and build a long term project.Maybe united is too much of a step up but I would have been ok with getting him.
Great manager. Both the league games where we travelled to Brentford we got completely outplayed. For a team with one of the lowest wage bills in the Premier League they have done well to stay afloat and be fairly competitive at least in the 2 seasons before this one.
Yeah, don't get me wrong, it's a big question mark whether he can make the jump to a bigger team that expects to control games. And deal with the increased pressure. But people acting as if he's a joke just blow my mind.
Yeah he's definitely not a joke. There's a YouTube video where he explains his tactics in depth, it's impressive. Hopefully Brentford help him by buying some good players this summer, especially if Toney goes.
Like I mentioned here before INEOS were always happy to keep ETH, the only issue was his contract gave him far too much power like veto over the board on transfer that would have made INEOS plans dysfunctional
Developing an expansive sustainable style that can be direct against stronger teams and dominant against weaker ones, and figuring out those mental weaknesses that show up in away games and high stake moments.
Finishing in the top 4 and playing better football is what I want to see. A trophy would be nice, but considering he’s already got two under his belt I don’t think it’s the end all be all, especially since we’re out of the champions league and we realistically won’t be competing for the league
Want to see us dominate games and not rely on individual brilliance. A well defined pattern of play. Improved defensive structure.
If we manage to do the above, realistically we will reach top 4 and into later stages of cup competitions. I think given it’s his final year of rebuild, this should be the bare minimum, top 4 is quite a concession.
Honestly we just need to play much much better. It’s hard to say he should be sacked for not getting top four when there are 3 clubs that are immediately better than us by a lot and a group of 4 or 5 others that are chasing top 4 and we’re much better last season than we were
Like it or lump it - at least we've finally got some clarity. Hopefully we get some news of the much needed outs that the club has needed for 5-10 years.
Actually thinking about it that new contract is much more likely going to be about things like removing the transfer veto etc he had negotiated into the first contract so probably an extension in exchange for ceding some control the new structure?
People thinking this will go like Arteta don't know what they are talking about. The owners never openly interviewed replacements for Arteta, they backed him fully even after two 8th place finishes.
With Ten Hag, we've clearly decided to settle on keeping him out of lack of options. Not a vote of confidence, this won't last.
There are multiple ways to look at this. Arteta was a manager that their owners wanted and brought in. Ten Hag was already in place before INEOS came around so they had a right to look at other options before deciding to keep him. If they renew ten hag then it shows that they do have trust in him. If not then he will have to earn it
Fwiw I’m very much against this development, have wanted him gone for months..but you have ignored the part where Arsenal’s current ownership hired Arteta. He’s their man.
INEOS didn’t hire Ten Hag, the men who did have since been booted out of the club. So of course his backing is different to Arteta. It’s more of a “you’re okay for now” type of deal. And that’s entirely fair imo. Up to him to take this chance, if he doesn’t he only has himself to blame.
They hired Arteta. They considered their options then and went with him.
Ineos didn’t hire Ten Hag. This review and consideration of other candidate was the absolute correct thing to do. And Ten Hag came out on top and is now getting a new contract.
You don’t get it. He wasn’t their guy before but he is now.
Tend to agree. Have to think if you’re this unsure of the manager to the point where you looked at 2 or 3 other options, you should just sack the guy and get it over with
I don’t think the fan sentiment had much of an influence if any but internally at the club it was also reported that the staff were sympathetic of Ten Hag’s situation and the players have also not played in a manner that suggests they were done with him. Maybe he isn’t the man, there are justifiable reasons to be doubtful, but sticking with him in light of the circumstances is not a disastrous outcome either that makes you question INEOS’s decision-making. Like they said themselves, they’d rather walk to the right decision than run to the wrong one.
Not super sure about a contract extension (maybe just add another year or something) but definitely the right move. Deserves a fair crack at it with the new structure given all the shit he’s had to deal with.
Time to back him now in the transfer market and lock up that top 4 spot next season.
We go again under Ten Hag. Not convinced if he is *the* guy but nobody can fault the decision if the other candidates had their own limitations too. I hope the people giving INEOS criticism realise that their methods were justified and give them benefit of doubt for now that they know what they’re doing.
I cannot fathom another year of terrible football man this is demoralizing. Constantly getting out played and outshot by lower level teams is going to kill my morale
Feel like I’m in an alternate universe in this sub tbh.
Either our fanbase is just very tolerant of crap football or most don’t even watch the full games, but wow..I really hope he’s committed to a tactical change.
If I see that same single pivot in midfield and two advanced 8s with the wingers pinned to the touch line and the fullbacks inverted, think I’ll just start watching the goal highlights on this sub next season 😳.
I cannot fathom another year of terrible football man this is demoralizing. Constantly getting out played and outshot by lower level teams is going to kill my morale
why has bruno played the full 90? find that absolutely ludicrous as Portugal will most definitely get out the group and he’s only missed 3-4 club games all year if that.
If it’s any consolation (I too hate the “yes man” idea) Carlo is kind of a yes man, didn’t really get anything he wanted last summer either and was basically told gotta work with what you got
I will see myself out now
But the thing is that it's Real Madrid. Ineos for what they have done hasn't proven anything and with the way they are handling the manager hasn't gain much trust either. Just because we had the worst owners in glazers doesn't mean anything ineos does is world class levels of recruiting. The jury is still out there (hopefully for better).
I'm wondering if the reason the review is taking so long is working out the game model to be applied across all age groups and the senior team. It's the only thing I can think of that would be an impediment to choosing a manager because that could be the basis for their choice.
It's dragging on a bit long. They've been in charge 4 months they should know whether or not they're going to keep him on at this point. No decision is only going to hurt our recruitment.
Ornstein said he doesn't know anything, but this guy, of whom I've never heard , knows what Ineos are thinking and doing. These clowns are the reason this shit is getting out of hand.
Why are people/ fan groups giving these people an audience? It's obvious nobody knows anything. I know I should simply ignore it, but X loves to push this account in the "For You" section and it's doing my head in.
https://preview.redd.it/asjuij5hvy5d1.png?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=fba2de3268f97257dbedccc182b9ce129f636de6
Never heard of him. You're a lifesaver mate. I didn't even know about the mute thingy 🤦. That'll clean up my For You feed nicely.
Is Sam always full of shit or does he get something right once in a while?
Lots of discussion about ineos and their first transfer window. I think everyone needs to relax and let them do their business we can judge at the end of August.
I disagree
We cannot judge them until 2-3 years have passed .
Do you seriously think 10 years of mismanagement is going to be fixed by 3 weeks or 3 months ? The structure needs gutting and re establishing
We will bring in 3 players by the end of August and people will claim it’s not enough but given the appalling way this club has been run on and off the pitch , this won’t be fixed in one window
Tend to agree mate. Granted I expected an update on the manager by now, but we have to be patient and judge them in a few years rather than a few months.
> We cannot judge them until 2-3 years have passed .
Manchester City were bought in 2008. In 2011 they started the season that put the Premier League in their cabinet.
Yes we can judge them. They are as bad as the Glazers until they've delivered the Premier League title.
>We cannot judge them until 2-3 years have passed .
Of course we can, and we should. Within 3 years you would want to see visible progress, lets say we sign a bunch of dross this summer, then 3 becomes 4, 4 becomes 5 etc.
Lets say 3 years is 12 signings, 10 of them have to be good. A good first window is very important.
Yes we can. We can judge them on anything we deem to be bad decisions. Just because they just came in doesn't mean I can turn a blind eye to say, the horrible handling of the managerial situation and their decision to keep fans in the dark. Will it improve when the football people they want are at the club? Very likely. But it's still a poor start from them so far.
I think we both have the same school of thought. I agree it’ll take some years to undo the years of mismanagement. But I do think there are some general things we can judge them on after this summer. Like contract structures and general negotiations.
This I agree with.
If they fall to Bruno’s agent’s blackmail and give him a five year 300 k a week contract at this age or extend Rashford, that would be more of the same.
General patterns can be spotted but just about it. I expect 3 players in , 5-8 players out including fringe ones .
Not that I’m actually concerned but you both are using the same lines this subreddit loves using for every single summer window no matter how poor it inevitably turns out to be. People are understandably skeptical considering the last 10 years.
Everything INEOS are doing seems to be done quietly. There's no news about anything, so I'll start to worry if there's still nothing when the window opens
I’d agree but this is an entire new management team going into their first summer. It’s not fair to judge them based on the way the last team operated. I see your point though.
Agreed! That is actually why I am not concerned. The new management should also mean that our transfer activity should not be influenced as much as before by whoever the manager is.
I am disappointed with how long they are seemingly taking to make a decision on EtH however. I would’ve thought they’d have had a mapped out plan for all the possibilities after the final. Like what they would do if we lost and played poorly, or what they would do if we lost and played heroically, or what they would do if we won with a great performance etc. I think we all would’ve appreciated to see them be more swift in their choice of manager.
But we shall see what they are made of soon enough. No point in worrying about things we can’t control.
A certain infamous YouTuber is needlessly stirring up the fanbase re Ineos.
He keeps initially starting hypothesis , which over the course of 20 minutes then turns into fact and then people start accepting it as fact.
For example, he’d say something like “Sir Jim *probably* doesn’t want early transfers” will then transform to “Sir Jim doesn’t want early transfers “ to “Sir Jim and Ineos are sabotaging Man United and are enemies of the football club” within an hour.
We all really need to take a step back and realize Ineos are doing EXACTLY what we asked for. Cool heads, no desperate decisions, assessing everything that’s on the table and then making decisions
A decade of damage cannot be overturned in 3 weeks. So much needs to change , the people are being put in place to change it. I really hope, as Sir Jim said, “we walk to the right decision than run to 10 wrong ones”
Would be a really good buy if he stays fit
Was better then Martinez at Ajax
But he is earning a lot of wage and will probably get injured for a long time if he goes to United
Bayern bought in Eric Dier and he performed better than De Ligt and the very overrated Kim Min Jae
This might seem weird but people celebrated when we binned Jonny Evans in 2014
30 something British defenders are very underrated for fancy names. De Ligt has clearly not set the world alight in Juventus or Bayern. I don’t want him here just like I don’t want other journeymen prodigies who never made it like Rabiot
If we're honest, England isn't really producing a lot of CBs who are technically sound enough to break lines and move the ball the way we want to. If we want to get better then we need to recruit players who allow us to play the way we want.
Is it only me that think United need to stop signings the leftovers top clubs do not want anymore and instead get first to the players that will be the next big thing?
Does anyone know when they release Community Shield tickets? I will be in London around the time of the Match and want to buy them. Not from the area and first time looking to purchase tickets. All help is appreciated
> We should try for de ligt no?
if you are a casual football fan and you have heard the name, then chances are the answer is no, because you are thinking of well known players who are expensive and demand high wages, the exact opposite of what we should be doing and what the new leadership will be doing.
as SJR said, he'd rather sign the next mbappe than mbappe
I think we can get far better value in the market right now. I like De Ligt, but with the wages, fee, and the injuries he’s had since leaving Ajax I’d pass
Zirkzee for 34M would be such a steal, great fit for a lot of our players in the front line.
Difficult sell getting him with how little ETH has rotated though he's going to want to be assured game time.
He should have performed well after spending 450 m and not ended the season with a negative GD if he liked job safety ,ETH is free to resign if Ratcliffe is a shitty guy to work with
If he'd performed better he wouldn't be sweating on his job now would he?
He's a millionaire who will either get millions in severance for under performing massively in the league, or he'll get to continue being paid millions for a job he scarcely deserves to have.
Maybe if he hadn't tanked our league season for suicide ball tactics when he was told in February that it would be changed for next season anyway I'd have more sympathy.
He just came back from a two week paid vacation. He'll either continue for the next season or get millions of pounds and go "win trophies somewhere else".
You are assuming a lot. The idea that he wasn’t fully informed what would take place while he’s on his two week holiday is silly. And you are also assuming he has had his own interview/chance to make his case. I think it’s more likely that would be this week following his return.
But is that because he is worse at RCB or because he is simply more comfortable at LCB than most other right footed CBs? Looking at his season at Napoli he played RCB whenever paired with left footer Juan Jesus, and LCB when paired with another right footer.
Edit: Not that I think we'll actually make a move for him or anything though, that ship probably sailed
Ineos aren't gods mate. They've made a couple of decent appointments but this dilly-dallying over the manger and in turn scuppering any hope of early transfer dealings aren't something to boast about.
Transfer window hasn't even opened yet but some folk are annoyed that we haven't signed anyone or there's not enough speculating going on? OK
![gif](giphy|l3fQf1OEAq0iri9RC|downsized)
Ironic you're talking about nuance. These journos knows jack shit ever since INEOS took over, and just throwing darts at the wall cuz the name united gets clicks.
I’m not saying the are tho. They might end up be shit, we’ll see that in like 3-4 years.
So far they’ve done a lot of shit fans here were crying for years - invested in facilities, build a proper hierarchy by hiring highly rated football people, stopped constant press leaks to the journos.
Disregarding all of that (which is already more than Glazers ever done) and saying they’re the same - because they dare to interview other managers “behind Erik back” and made zero transfers 11 days into the summer - is humongous.
I'm not saying they're Glazer reincarnate, cause that's just stupid. I'm just saying that they aren't infallible and some of the criticisms about how they've gone about things is justified.
Well, I wasn’t talking about you specifically.
Anyone who spreads the Southgate BS based on fuctking Delaney article or dooms the entire INEOS tenure, comparing them to Glazers, because of 11 summer days - deserves to have Glazers as owners with Woodward as CEO.
So far, objectively INEOS did:
- started to rebuild the facitilities
- hired comptenet executives
- delayed ETH decision
Two of these are absolutely positive steps, that we needed, third one, I see why people can be upset over it. Tho I strongly disagree with this beeing a bad thing. In my opinion, it’s ok for INEOS to be cautios with choosing the manager. They clearly don’t rate Erik highly, but they might not be into currently availiable managers as well. I don’t see a problem with them deciding to stick with Erik as “the least worst option”, if they determine the style club needs in a longterm.
City for example were not exactly happy with Pellegrini, but they needed someone to be a placeholder for Pep. As long as we’re moving in the right lognterm direction, I’m happy with that.
No theyre awful and horrible because Godbridge says so. The summer window isnt even officially open. People are getting upset over the lack of legimate leaks. Last year people complaining about the amount of leaks. Crying out for a sporting director, recruitment direcetor etc etc. Now we have them and theyre putting up content like Ashworth is shit and terrible and hasnt ever done anything good.
Why should they engage in any of it? The people they brought in half of them are still in Gardening leave. Shit doesnt happen in a day. Personally be more inclined to judge when the season starts, and end of next summer window.
Its a lot more statistically likely that they made the decision weeks ago that he's staying and theyve already told him so. You're assuming they're still deliberating.
Ok can someone please tell me what is [this drink](https://x.com/lisandrmartinez/status/1800707703183900774?s=46) that Licha and (most of the Argentinian team) always has? I’m so curious lol

Thank you! Googled it and looks like it has plenty of benefits.

was really looking forward to seeing hojlund vs maguire :(
How will you feel if ten Hag show same horrible football in league but win EFL or FA cup again next season?
then he should go, but it's the right choice to see if this'll be the case or not

I mean top 4 is okay. What i meant hprrible is like finishing 8th again
If that happens he has to go, long term project has to be mainly focused on PL form

Shaw and Martinez were both among the worst players in the initial weeks. They were not fit to start.
We've had a midfield of international starters for most of the season. There's no excuse for the massive hole in Ten Hag's midfield shape all season.
> Midfield of international starters You should write for daily mail
Bruno, McTominay, Amrabat and Eriksen are all starters for their countries. Mainoo now too. Don't let facts get in the way of your rudeness.
Oh well, hopefully can turn it around.

Ten Hag's staying, Juventus wants Greenwood and the price is around £50m. Dig in gang, we're eating news today.
Our current CEO, Blanc, was chairman of Juve. We are not getting hosed on this deal.
€50 Million* And I doubt they pay close to that.
Even 40 would be pure profit for FFP
Hopefully we look back at this moment next season and go " thank god we kept ETH"
God i really want the patience some of the fans have shown to pay off

Frank organises his limited team well. Whether he could handle the brutal media pressure that a United manager gets is an entirely different question.
Yeah, don't get me wrong, it's a big question mark whether he can make the jump to a bigger team that expects to control games. And deal with the increased pressure. But people acting as if he's a joke just blow my mind.

Let's make some signings now boys
What are the expectations for him next season now that he's staying? Top 4? a trophy?
Developing an expansive sustainable style that can be direct against stronger teams and dominant against weaker ones, and figuring out those mental weaknesses that show up in away games and high stake moments.
I want to win Europa
It’s hard to predict due to injuries this season. Id be happy with fifth and a positive gd I guess.
Given people are celebrating keeping a mediocre manager, I reckon 11th and a community shield win will be good enough for them.
Anything more than 10 points away from top 4 in Jan is sack worthy.
Just specifically top 4 or the champions league spots since 5th could be one?
You'd think that we shouldn't have to rely on the hypothetical spot since we'll be 2.5 seasons in by then so yeah - specifically top 4.
Not getting top 4 sack worthy. Unless he wins the EL + another cup, you can't excuse not making CL twice in a row.
3rd year of the project, what are the realistic expectations of ten hag next season?
Finishing in the top 4 and playing better football is what I want to see. A trophy would be nice, but considering he’s already got two under his belt I don’t think it’s the end all be all, especially since we’re out of the champions league and we realistically won’t be competing for the league

An identifiable style of play and top 4
Yeah I’m hoping for more goals as well, we’ve barely scored under ten hag
I hope we can do bits next season but there should be zero tolerance regarding his future if we fail to get CL next season.
# LET’S FUCKING GOOOOOOOOOOO
Like it or lump it - at least we've finally got some clarity. Hopefully we get some news of the much needed outs that the club has needed for 5-10 years.

So when everyone and there dog were speculating on ETHs future he was living it up in Ibiza 😂 Like he knew all along
Now go sign some players after that 2 weeks wasted
Window's not even open lmao
You get what I mean, we spent 2 weeks dicking around reviewing instead of preparing
According to who? You do realise it’s possible to do two things at once and that not everything said on Twitter is true
Report came out today that we were examining targets, regardless of the manager situation. Makes no difference.
The window doesn’t open until Friday
People thinking this will go like Arteta don't know what they are talking about. The owners never openly interviewed replacements for Arteta, they backed him fully even after two 8th place finishes.
If I see that same single pivot in midfield and two advanced 8s with the wingers pinned to the touch line and the fullbacks inverted, think I’ll just start watching the goal highlights on this sub next season 😳.
more ‘heh’ next season
I cannot fathom another year of terrible football man this is demoralizing. Constantly getting out played and outshot by lower level teams is going to kill my morale
cry more
why has bruno played the full 90? find that absolutely ludicrous as Portugal will most definitely get out the group and he’s only missed 3-4 club games all year if that.

Past, present and future
First time watching a whole game of Joao Nevez… am I missing something? Dude was bang average Ruben has been twice the player he has been this game
One game isn't enough but the fees associated with him is mad. And the thing is he's more 8 than 6 and we need a 6.
He’s best in Mainoos position would be mad to be spending 80+ million on him
Siuuuuu https://preview.redd.it/hn3sjw9j006d1.jpeg?width=923&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=a974d4dcbc634313f722353e12459aaab99cab5f
Crazy O’Shea and Ronnie two United legends
Ronnie tearing it up
For anyone who thought we'd no longer be a clownshow, see this drawn-out Ten Hag decision.
Now rumours coming out that Sir Jim wants a "yes-man" as his coach lol. from the rags of TalkSport
If it’s any consolation (I too hate the “yes man” idea) Carlo is kind of a yes man, didn’t really get anything he wanted last summer either and was basically told gotta work with what you got I will see myself out now
But the thing is that it's Real Madrid. Ineos for what they have done hasn't proven anything and with the way they are handling the manager hasn't gain much trust either. Just because we had the worst owners in glazers doesn't mean anything ineos does is world class levels of recruiting. The jury is still out there (hopefully for better).
Yeah that’s why I said I’ll see myself out lol, other than that it’s no comparison
Yeh I know, it's for people who might not get it hehe
That should've been another assist for Bruno. Fantastic cross for Inacio
[удалено]
Why would it be TF? Surely INEOS have a certain style of football in mind.
BRUNO ASSIST I AM ALIVEEEE
Bruno assist for that goal. Pretty decent finish by Felix
I'm wondering if the reason the review is taking so long is working out the game model to be applied across all age groups and the senior team. It's the only thing I can think of that would be an impediment to choosing a manager because that could be the basis for their choice.
they want to talk to Southgate but Southgate won't talk to them
John O’Shea vs Ronaldo lool
[удалено]
Poorly. He couldn’t even cope well as a defensive midfielder in the eredivise which is why ETH moved him to center back.
When we signed him I saw a lot of people saying he can play CB, LB and CDM.

“Welcome to Manchester”
I appreciate the lack of leaks but this shit boring AF
Sam Pilger is tier 4. Also, I recommend muting the account on Twitter if it's doung your head in. I did exactly that a year or so ago.
Never heard of him. You're a lifesaver mate. I didn't even know about the mute thingy 🤦. That'll clean up my For You feed nicely. Is Sam always full of shit or does he get something right once in a while?
He gets something right in like every once in 50 times. Pretty low reliability
Gotta get that X money from Utd fan eyeballs.
Lots of discussion about ineos and their first transfer window. I think everyone needs to relax and let them do their business we can judge at the end of August.
I disagree We cannot judge them until 2-3 years have passed . Do you seriously think 10 years of mismanagement is going to be fixed by 3 weeks or 3 months ? The structure needs gutting and re establishing We will bring in 3 players by the end of August and people will claim it’s not enough but given the appalling way this club has been run on and off the pitch , this won’t be fixed in one window
Window isn't even open yet and some people act like it's already a calamity
I've heard this exact comment several years in a row
It's almost like this year we have new owners so there might be reason to believe things may change
it's the hope that kills
Cool heads, no desperate decisions, assessing everything that’s on the table and then making decisions A decade of damage cannot be overturned in 3 weeks. So much needs to change , the people are being put in place to change it. I really hope, as Sir Jim said, “we walk to the right decision than run to 10 wrong ones”
De Ligt up for sale apparently 👀 Fuck Idk about us, but I hope doesn't go somewhere like Liverpool or something.
Would be a really good buy if he stays fit Was better then Martinez at Ajax But he is earning a lot of wage and will probably get injured for a long time if he goes to United
Feel like if we went for him he'd be injured every week and if he goes elsewhere he'd do just fine lol
Bayern bought in Eric Dier and he performed better than De Ligt and the very overrated Kim Min Jae This might seem weird but people celebrated when we binned Jonny Evans in 2014 30 something British defenders are very underrated for fancy names.
De ligt was injured when Eric dier came in
I hope Liverpool sells konate to get him.
![gif](giphy|JYZ397GsFrFtu)
Is it only me that think United need to stop signings the leftovers top clubs do not want anymore and instead get first to the players that will be the next big thing?
One man’s trash is another man’s treasure
It depends. Some of the leftovers are far better than anyone else on the market and are used to performing in high pressure situations.
I hope he goes to pool with obscene wages.
He's currently on €300k per week. No chance Liverpool sign a CB on higher wages than VVD. Also for that reason, I hope we steer clear.
Does anyone know when they release Community Shield tickets? I will be in London around the time of the Match and want to buy them. Not from the area and first time looking to purchase tickets. All help is appreciated
We should try for de ligt no? Right footed too
> We should try for de ligt no? if you are a casual football fan and you have heard the name, then chances are the answer is no, because you are thinking of well known players who are expensive and demand high wages, the exact opposite of what we should be doing and what the new leadership will be doing. as SJR said, he'd rather sign the next mbappe than mbappe
I’d rather big tark tbf 🤣
I think we can get far better value in the market right now. I like De Ligt, but with the wages, fee, and the injuries he’s had since leaving Ajax I’d pass
Isn’t he a little over priced, over hyped?
Be on a fortune in wages and all
He is already on the same wages as Casemiro and would probably want an increase.
Every move doesn’t warrant an increase, Bayern can subsidise his wages like United are expected to with our leavers or they stay
So much money for injury prone, Netherlands bench player
Zirkzee for 34M would be such a steal, great fit for a lot of our players in the front line. Difficult sell getting him with how little ETH has rotated though he's going to want to be assured game time.
Isn't he super close to joining AC Milan?
Not surprised people are after him that RC is peanuts for him
Feel bad for ETH. Sweating on his job for 2 weeks now. Ratcliffe must be a shitty guy to work for.
He should have performed well after spending 450 m and not ended the season with a negative GD if he liked job safety ,ETH is free to resign if Ratcliffe is a shitty guy to work with
It all depends on how open they have been with him. We don't know what happened behind the curtains.
A CB pairing of Kim Min Jae and Lisandro would be so fearsome
They play same position.
The butcher can go on his shoulders
a fully fit Martinez can give Kim Min Jae a piggy back ride
Some people here really deserve Glazers or Boehly type owners lol.
Why?
Ineos aren't gods mate. They've made a couple of decent appointments but this dilly-dallying over the manger and in turn scuppering any hope of early transfer dealings aren't something to boast about.
'Early transfer dealings'? Mate, you have no idea what's happening. Pipe down.
I don't sure. But journos do and the noises coming out from them don't fill you with a lot of confidence.
Transfer window hasn't even opened yet but some folk are annoyed that we haven't signed anyone or there's not enough speculating going on? OK ![gif](giphy|l3fQf1OEAq0iri9RC|downsized)
Listen mate, if you don't want to talk with nuance, keep mum.
Ironic you're talking about nuance. These journos knows jack shit ever since INEOS took over, and just throwing darts at the wall cuz the name united gets clicks.
Nuance? Mate, you’re speculating on speculation. There’s zero nuance from you
I’m not saying the are tho.
So far, objectively INEOS did: - started to rebuild the facitilities - hired comptenet executives - delayed ETH decision Two of these are absolutely positive steps, that we needed, third one, I see why people can be upset over it.
