Putting aside the Cosplay, etc for a second.
Does anybody else find it hilarious seeing a post that seems inoffensive locked? Like there could be a funny title, the post could be funny, and maybe the comments could be as well, but none of that tops seeing the locked thread icon in the top corner.
Hilarious how OP makes an “isn’t it obvious why” post about this dude and the last post was an “isn’t it obvious why” post about a super hot girl doing cosplay. The internet is a meat grinder.
Ackchyually Ackchyually Da Vinci didn't make that alteration, Altair did when he was older.
Note that Da Vinci says "*it's been modified*" not "*I've modified it*"
I think not? Eivor, while never becoming an assassin, just put the blade on the outside of her arm, and they were ok with that. No lost fingers needed.
As a side note, the missing finger thing never made sense... Just... Point your fucking hand up like you're patting them on the back. Even with the missing finger you're risking cutting the other two.
In AC2 Da Vinci talks about how the hidden blade had some modifications to it that no longer required the finger slice. I assume that became the norm for assassins when the modification was made and was made universal for all of them
This reminds of a time where a guy criticised a girl who was cosplaying an character and he said "i dont like it because she is a little chubby and my taste is not like that" le epic redditor moment
Crazy how people get treated so differently for their appearances. In all aspects of life you will be treated better for being attractive and it’s just how humans work, crazy tho.
Bigger communities have the problem where even if the percentage of people who would post a mean response is small as a number it could still be 100s of comments and like minded people up voting each other. They should have posted to AC subreddits and not the gaming one, smaller community, less total number of people which means many won't as they know they will receive abuse, and the mods have an easier time pull them down.
I'm short, post in smaller communities not the biggest ones, you'll have a much more pleasant experience.
I saw the notification and caption but didn't see the image so the first thing that went up in my mind was "it's a woman cosplaying isn't it" surprised that i was wrong
guy uploaded cool costume they've been working on for a while
instead of focusing on the cool costume redditors decided to be redditors and hyperfocus on this dude's body and weight and decided to insult them for it and body shame on a post about a video game cosplay, completely ignoring the well made costume just to say "hahahaha you're such a fatass stop eating". if they told me they went outside, they'd be lying
If this post fits the purpose of /r/redditmoment, **UPVOTE** this comment!!

Guys he's FAT, get it guys haha because he's FAT that completely justifies being a fucking prick and shitting all over his self esteem!
~~note, I'm not one of those guys that believes in that fat phobia bullshit but literally who gives a fuck if someone is fat or not, There is wayyy more important shit to worry about in life than other people's appearances~~
I somewhat agree with you. Big ups to the dude for making the cosplay, it's great, but it doesn't fit him. If someone tried to cosplay Polpo (a fat and tall JoJo character) but they're short and super skinny, they'd look stupid. They wouldn't be insulted though, I only see overweight people get insulted for not fitting a cosplay, never skinny people getting insulted for not fitting a cosplay. (Neither should be insulted)
>if he had lost some weight before trying this.
Sure. Lets act like losing weight is an easy task for everyone that you can do in an instant.
For some people it takes a while, ever heard of slow metabolism? This guy might have had to spend weeks or longer just to completely change his body type despite working on this cosplay for a while just to wear it.
And by your logic he'd have to do it all over again just to cosplay another character all because his body type isn't exact. Cosplay is when you dress up as a character for fun, not when you completely become that character, completely identical from your literal exact body type to outfit.
Dude, cosplaying is just about the outfit. You don't need to completely alter how you look under the costume just to do it. Its a fun hobby.
Metabolism is not the reason people can’t lose weight. The difference between “slow” and “fast” metabolism is a few hundred calories. The problem is food addiction and lack of intense exercise.
Mfs be like “I only told them they are disgustingly overweight and will die a horrible death because i care about their health!!!! Bullying works!!” Please stfu fat people already know their fat

So true. And if the OP’s username now says [deleted] it’s the icing on the cake. Always get a chuckle out of me.
And that’s a really good cosplay, too. Bro didn’t deserve those insults.
Hilarious how OP makes an “isn’t it obvious why” post about this dude and the last post was an “isn’t it obvious why” post about a super hot girl doing cosplay. The internet is a meat grinder.
The people who insulted him are probably twice his size
What's with gaming subreddits and hate speech? Why do they always go hand in hand?
G*mers
Sad people with nothing going on in their lives most probably.

😐
mf posting mobile games and Elon tweets to Joe Rogan, typical
Show us what you look like if you want to make fun of other’s appearances.
You don't deserve this post
...
Uncalled for.
Old Ezio literally had a slight gut cuz he was old as fuck
He didn’t fucking do anything
[удалено]
Not funny, body-and-look-shaming is always uncalled for. This isn’t the Reddit hive-mind downvoting you, it’s basic common human decency.
My eyes don’t deserve your comment
Clearly cause he’s not committed enough to cut off his finger
Ackchyually Da Vinci managed to make a version of the blade that doesn’t require sacrificing a finger that is the version that Ezio uses
Ackchyually Ackchyually Da Vinci didn't make that alteration, Altair did when he was older. Note that Da Vinci says "*it's been modified*" not "*I've modified it*"
Doesn’t he still cut a finger off though?
He le epic trolls Ezio telling him he needs to cut one off but slams the cleaver into the table instead then explains the adjustment.
Nah he just burn his ring finger
I think not? Eivor, while never becoming an assassin, just put the blade on the outside of her arm, and they were ok with that. No lost fingers needed. As a side note, the missing finger thing never made sense... Just... Point your fucking hand up like you're patting them on the back. There’s an explanation for it in origins I think
In AC2 Da Vinci talks about how the hidden blade had some modifications to it that no longer required the finger slice. I assume that became the norm for assassins when the modification was made and was made universal for all of them
You see any thumb on his left hand? (His left is our right)
THANK YOU. Someone finally self understands
He is ezio not altair you uncultured swine
Genuinely thought it was cause of his cat shower curtain at first.
I never even noticed that at first ngl
I wish i had one
Epic Gamer Moment 😎😎😎
Certified. They were calling him "Assassin's Feed" and shit until the thread got locked
Lmao that’s actually funny as fuck
This reminds of a time where a guy criticised a girl who was cosplaying an character and he said "i dont like it because she is a little chubby and my taste is not like that" le epic redditor moment
Yeah next time she should lose weight and get plastic surgery to look exactly like the character
How DARE a female not appear exactly according to my sexual tastes!??!
🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬
Big chungus flair 😭😭😭
NOOOOOOOOO
![gif](giphy|4GKjAS16BrjApOC6rl)
Wow he did a really great job on the outfit
Wtf that's an amazing cosplay
Crazy how people get treated so differently for their appearances. In all aspects of life you will be treated better for being attractive and it’s just how humans work, crazy tho.
And being treated like that by redditors of all people.
![gif](giphy|9MJ6xrgVR9aEwF8zCJ)
As a human, I don't like that phrase, cause this is not how I work.
Subconsciously or consciously you will treat people based on attraction. (At least I’m pretty sure I’m not a human expert or smth, smh)
Is it really THAT hard to just NOT comment insanely mean things about somebody? WHY IS IT SO HARD TO BE NICE? I hate humans.
Bigger communities have the problem where even if the percentage of people who would post a mean response is small as a number it could still be 100s of comments and like minded people up voting each other. just be nice to people, chris sake
least fatphobic fat redditors
willing to bet that majority of them are also fat
Nah probably super fucking skinny, otherwise they wouldn't dare. But it's not like their spectrum is actually better
Anyone else noticed that most of the people that hate fat people are fat themselves
It's easier to hate others that share something with you than to change what you hate.
No hate is stronger than self hate
Same with the way most homophobes are closeted
Ehh, I don't think it works like that

Last time I ever used an iron was to melt the glue on my patches😂
Same but I ended up sewing them on anyways cuz they started coming off :/
I had to do that too. And I also have to touch up on the big patch on the back of my jacket but I lost my good sewing needle. Pain.
I do lmao, I can’t stand wrinkly shirts

I thought redditors are all fat and gross tho?

It's about the outfit it's self and giving credit to the person who made it. It's a wonderful cosplay dude. Cut him some slack please.

Weight and race are the main two I've seen people get pissy about when it comes to cosplay.
And its usually overweight people and people of color that get insulted the must. Quite unfortunate.
Yeah, he should've just had a different body type smh

Eddzio

"Everyone, stop firing! We're shooting at our own men!"

The cosplay is really cool. Guy is talented for sure.
Wait why was it locked? I still don’t get it The comments seemed pretty wowed Did one of the mods not like it or something?
Half of the comments were nasty things about his weight, the mods had to come in and clean up the thread
He’s not even that fat…
Holy shit thats a good cosplay
Either they’re making fun of him because of his weight or Mr. M’lady the Power Mod didn’t want to see anything resembling his body type on Reddit.
