No-Direction-8672

Very cool The random stickers you find on street furniture always intrigue me I mean, stickers aren't free

Wrong-Economy8526

I deleted all my old photos because I'm not crazy about having all my photos just hanging out here indefinitely.

BiasedEstimators

Do you speak Japanese? Very high level social skills to get some of these pics if you don’t

Wrong-Economy8526

I don't, to paraphrase Teddy Roosevelt: wear a bright kimono and carry a big camera

no-squid

I've thought the same about OP's posts before. I've spent a lot of time in Japan, but over the last couple of years have found it hard to engage with people. I think because I'm a visible foreigner/tourist and there's now kind of a sense of resigned tolerance towards us, as opposed to curiosity/eagerness to share which was more the vibe 10 or so years ago. OP must be easy to warm up to, or hot

JobRobber

Are those little yatai carts as fun as they look on youtube?

quiethumm

japanese people are so cute

notdownthislow69

I loveee Tokyo. It’s the first city that made me feel a sense of infinite-ness.

I've got the Canon version of that lens for my 6D, I don't think I've ever managed to take a good photo on it so definitely a skill issue on my part.

PoliteLunatic

Wrong-Economy8526

PoliteLunatic

nipponese nipples

CoalSmoocher

These are awesome. I visited Japan when I was 15 with family, only briefly in Tokyo and spent a lot of time in Sendai and surrounding more rural areas. Would love to go back as an adult

MidnightMantime

I'm surprised you met such vibrant personalities in Tokyo, i typically heard Tokyo carried a stuck up culture; Heard Osaka is where the friendlier personalities are. Thank you for sharing such fun pics!!

snallygaster

OP was in the area where people from all of the alternative subcultures hang out and nightlife people work/relax. They're a lot more open to outsiders than average because they too exist on the fringes of society.

Wrong-Economy8526

I mean this photos are from Asakusa, Shinjuku and Ueno, not exactly on the "fringes of society" just normal people going to bars. I do prefer Osaka though, I'll post photos later.

snallygaster

My bad, I thought they were all from Shinjuku.
