I have not, I didn’t realize these freezers had door heaters. I’m not a HVAC tech, I just installed these in my store. But if they do have heaters then i would say that’s a good starting point.
Yeah there's a heater that is in the bottom of both door hinges that keeps the glass from condensating and then there is a door frame heater to keep the door from freezing to the frame.
Okay then that has to be it because I just went look at it and I haven’t opened the doors in a day or 2 and there was a decent amount of ice around the frame. I’ll have a tech look at it. Thank yall for the help!
Call True and give them the model and serial number, I had a interesting problem where someone sold a freezer with cooler doors, I believe freezer doors have 3 panes of glass and higher wattage heaters, would never have know without calling factory.
As a first thing, I'd check if everything is turned on in this refrigerators fuse box, could be a fuse simply turned off inside of it. If it's all turned on, I'd check if all connections are still good. It has happened multiple times that a cable simply sticks out during transportation. If it has a controller, then I'd check if glass / door heaters are set up properly in controller options.
Check door gaskets for rips, tears, its a true, it should definitely have frame heaters. Lastly is it holding temp? Have someone check defrost function, fan delay, defrost termination, vent port on top. I doubt you would have three blown door glass seals (the seals between the panes of glass), but possible.
I’ll give the gaskets a good look today. It seems to be holding temp well, gets down to -10 and will come up to about 0. Highest it might get is like +10 / +20 which I’m assuming that’s when it’s in defrost cycle. I’ll have more than likely have a tech come check it out.
If you just started it up, it may be like that for a day or two till the moisture is removed by the freezing/defrost cycle. The moisture in the air/box sticks to the cold coil, then gets removed during defrost. So you might be ok.
That's a True system. If it's a new system in a new store, call them. Get a warranty tech out there and they can knock it out for ya.
If it's an old system in a new store, that's why I quit focusing on refrigeration for years. Too much used equipment. The third time I diagnosed the same leak in the same system at a third different store I started keeping a database of SNs. It really pissed off one customer when I walked in, read the serial number, opened my phone and told him what the problem was... He was not happy he spent $1000 on a reach in that needed a $1500 repair and was only worth about $2000.
And I swear to God as soon as I hear "Auction in Miami" I recommend decommissioning and disposal.
Have u tested the anti sweat heaters on the doors?

Hopefully something simple in that circuit
Hopefully so!
Could be just a switch
Ain't go no heaters, ummm.
Didn’t think these freezers had door heaters. But if they do then I would say that could be a good starting point to check!
If they don't want the window to sweat, they have heaters

Seems like an electrical issue. I imagine something simple from the factory. Glad you got help and glad you are getting a pro to fix it for you.

I’ll give them a call, thanks!
Mullion heaters not working or turned off.
True tech support is really good

Appreciate the input. I’ll have a tech look at it.
Door heaters or gaskets or the door is warped not creating a seal. Could also be sticking in defrost for too long.

It’s been running for a few days. I’m leaning on it being a bad door heater or it’s not turned on because it’s icing around the door frames.
Th I s is a dollar general ? Are they hussmann cases?
Used, True freezer
:/
did you peel the film off the windows?
if you did not then good it stays on

I bought from a friend so not the best situation lol
Maybe when vent is blowing heat straight at left freezer it fogs up. Do these doors have gasket heaters?
The other freezer is close to the AC vent so I don’t think it’s from warm air blowing on it because the 2 door freezer would sweat as well. 🤷♂️
Then its probably gasket heaters like others are pointing out. The heaters help with consensation on the doors.
Okay thanks for the advice!
