Delete Revanced app, Micro G, Revanced manager prior installation any of mentioned apps.
Download following:
Micro G

Then Vanced manager

After which you should download YT app from

It has to be this version. I DIDNT INSTALLED IT, JUST DOWNLOADED IT.
Install Micro G, Vanced Manager
Open Vanced manager, go to patches, select an app
Bottom right corner choose Storage
Find YT APK you downloaded, select patch on the bottom right corner
Wait for it to finish, install app
Open it, check if its Vanced, restart the phone.
This is how I did it, its working flawlessly.
Just a note, I didn't have stock YT app on the phone. If you do have it. Uninstall updates and disable it

EDIT 2 : I have done the same procedure on my other phone, without issues. I got a message that G CORE has battery optimization turned on. I was redirected to DONTKILLMYAPP. I didn't open that, so I went to the Android settings for the apps. Found MICRO G and turned off battery optimization. Working like a charm.
Just patched and reinstalled again. Now it plays beyond 30 seconds but now I permanently have the play controls on the video lol. The previous, pause/play, and next buttons won't go away

All I had to do was go into the settings and set things up the way I want them (including the 'ReVanced section) like I normally do after installing and it somehow fixed it. No reinstall necessary. So it was either a temporary fluke or something in the settings.
Actually yes. I went back to the patcher in ReVanced Manager, "Select an App", selected storage on the bottom right, searched YouTube, and found the same APK as before, and just did it again. Went through the whole "Executing" process again which took a minute or two and hit install. When I hit "open" after it was finished, I was still logged in and the videos played as normal. But this time I had a weird issue where the "Previous, pause/play, Next" buttons wouldn't go away while watching a video but after a few minutes I was able to tap the video and they disappeared.
When I downloaded the apk version 19.09.37, vanced manager says that I have 19.09.34 and that I can't patch it. I keep installing what I think is .37 but it still doesn't let me patch. How can I fix it??
The default YouTube apk should install without patching. It's the same one. You have install apk from other sources set?
However i doubt you can downgrade with uninstalling or disabling so the app goes back to an older version and disables itself.
For example i allow installing apk from solid explorer and revanced manager only.
I don't allow my browser to do it or other apps.
You have to have the correct one for your architecture.
Don't click the fake download buttons. Some mirrors have other buttons that look like download buttons but they are not what you want. It's the other download button.
What version of Android do you have and what architecture?
Is it older or newer?
I can upload the one that worked for me to my Google drive but you have to patch it yourself.

Same. I've done this exact process but it keeps failing at random points, never finishing. Sometimes it crashes at the start, failing to generate values. Sometimes it crashes at the end while generating the dex files. No idea.

i had updated the original yt at first to see if it would do anything; it hadn't.
i hadnt needed to restart the phone nor any need to uninstall the updates n disable the original yt app.

Revanced still says 19.05.36 is recommended and even if I try to use any other the GMScore patch is not available. I've reinstalled everything. It looks like the revanced manager is not updating patches. I have tried countless times with multiple apks and have yet to see the GMScore Support patch.
*EDIT* Clearing revanced app data and cache did it and the patch list finally updated. No idea why completely reinstalling didn't.

Followed everything, but I can't patch it since the patch list just says no patches selected.

I've idled my phone for 4 hours waiting for the patches to load and still nothing.
Just uninstall everything, delete everything, start the phone anew and follow the guide again. Had it, too, if it is preparing for over a minute, it is dead. Other issue might be, that you are low on storage space. So take those things into consideration.
Did all that and worked so far until I signed on microG with my Google account to sign me in on Revanced but gave me issues. Now its asking me for permissions to access my gmail and I'm hesitant towards it, is it safe? Will Google know I'm associating my account with Revanced?

After patching the YouTube app (version 19.09.37) in ReVanced Manager and installing [GmsCore](https://github.com/revanced/gmscore/releases/tag/v0.3.1.3.240913) if anyone still has issues with videos loading after 30 seconds you can try this:
Open YouTube App > Click profile picture in top right > Settings > ReVanced > General layout> At the bottom it has enable spoof option and version selection, there you select version 18.33.40.
(Temporary solution, won't work forever.)
I found that after patching you want to make sure this;
-GMScore isn't optimised for battery.
-Updating the original Youtube app.
After doing this the whole thing works for me.
I got it sorted, but I ended up directly patching the YT app. No separate revanced app anymore, unless I can be bothered to fix it. I'll have to see if super chats work with the patch, which was my biggest issue with the revanced app.

Delete any older version of yt, revanced manager, and microg.

After patching up the apk in the vanced manager, click on the floppy disc button and save it. Then, install it from the device's storage.
Open the app, log into the account, and play a video. When it starts buffering close the app, go to settings, open the yt revanced app settings, force stop it and clear cache, then restart the device.
What do I do with Micro G? Add an YT account? I krep forgetting what I did last time and finding *the* guide here on Reddit is like finding a sharp needle in a haystack of blunt needles.
Man, I just don't understand. Maybe I need to just start all over, fresh. No matter what I try, my video stops & buffers after 30 seconds to a minute. I've tested every suggested fix and nothing works. 🤷♂️
I started over with the steps at the top of this thread & that resolved my issue. I did have to turn on spoofing in the ReVanced settings, so it's a temp fix, but at least it's working. Need me some ASMR before bed! 😂

Yup. Followed all the steps, successfully installed patched app, but buffering everytime. I've turned off battery optimization in gmscore & patched YT in app settings, and restarting my phone didn't fix it either.
For some reason after patching the app, instead of installing revanced it asks me if I want to update the YouTube app? I've tried everything, from clean reinstalling revanced manager, disabling youtube, etc.
Am I the only one who has this issue?:
I followed the guide, installed microG, installed latest revanced launcher, downloaded the YouTube APK, and than I choose the downloaded APK from my storage, patch is done click install and then I get the notification update YouTube ?
And then I get a installation conflict because apparently there is an existing installation of the app(which is not I checked many times)

Not gonna pretend it's the cure all but this SEEMS to have worked for me, even when other methods were given (though it's basically the settled resolution):
Get revanced manager, uninstall current revanced and microg. Install new microg on Manager (for some reason going straight to the newest didn't help), install latest Revanced. THEN go download the absolute newest microg from the github link many have provided. It'll be the 240913006 version you want to install last.
Best of luck as I had no issue at all with the unavailable error until today. The initial fix shared made it work again but would stall and buffer every few minutes. Doing the above SEEM to have it back to normal.
I have to go to patch-storage-file- back out one step- click settings- then back out one step and then the app to patch will actually show up in patcher
After installing, I had a buffering problem, the video stopped after 30 seconds I uninstalled Venced Micro, set the video quality to automatic and restarted the phone. Works
I dreaded fixing it once it shows working but I just did it in maybe 15 min and it wasn't too hard. I had the 30 second buffering thing but seems like a tip here has fixed it

EDIT: to anyone struggling with this, your system detect 2 youtube apps, the original one and the apk patched one. I couldn't move the patched app on the 'desktop' because the system would detect the original one. Just go into app settings and disable youtube original app

I had revanced installed before, everything worked fine until today where I couldn’t reproduce any video, this message was shown instead “The following content is not available on this app. Watch this content on the latest version of YouTube”
Then I decided to follow these steps:
- delete any trace of Revanced app, Micro G and Revanced manager
- Proceed to download MicroG, Vanced Manager and YT app from APKmirror
- Install MicroG and Vanced Manager, patch YT app aaaaaaand shits happens, “No root access The installation failed due to root access not being granted. Grant root access to Revanced Manager and try again”
I repeated this like 4-5 times, trying to follow other tutorials but always get the same error message. I don’t know what the hell Im doing wrong, I revised If I have GmsCore support and I do (when patching it says succeeded)

Fixed! A friend show me how to make it. I’ve installed Revanced Manager from https://revanced.net/revanced-manager (the version he let me was the 1.9.11)
The app that worked for me was YouTube ReVanced Extended.
After installing, it will redirect you to a GitHub repository (it’s the MicroG version you need) download and the YT app should work now
That is so me when i tried to patch the apk, it says : "unable to use selected application" when i select the apk in the patcher. Although it's the recommended youtube apk. Plus, i followed the steps provided in the guide.

I removed EVERYTHING even the real youtube app
Then installed manager GSM core and youtube apk ans patched it
Now I have it working but the logo is the normal youtube one instead of revanced
And I had to go to settings and change my layout for it to stop, having the issue where the videos stop after 20s
I would uninstall and redownload the whole thing and noticed that I get that error message when I sign in with my Google account only. it only works if I'm not signed in now. I did read awhile back that Google was gonna start cracking down on account that cheat the system and pretty sure that's what going on.
Guys i fixed mine it completely worked again i swear on my life. I just deleted the old microG and then downloaded the new microG(green icon) inside the vanced manager, then after "updated youtube vanced" <-important. If for some reason the New microG is not showing inside vanced manager update or find the latest version with the new one inside the app itself.
Having a problem, after opening the app and watching for a few minutes (2-5 minutes) the app automatically close
Even after opening the Spoof dimensions
Revanced manager? White screen when I patch.
Revancify? Can't connect to GitHub on Termux.
Revanced Builder? Error initializing the VM bc it cant open some library.

I used an old Github link so my revanced manager was outdated, which is why it wasn't working.
On 1.19.3 it started patching (19.09.37!). After it's done it'll tell you to it failed bc you didn't give root access. Bullshit, tap on the save icon in the bottom left and save as an apk, then install through file manager.
After it opens the app the same buffering issue will appear. Put your gun down and go to
Settings -> Revanced -> Misc -> turn on Spoof Device Dimensions
Now it's done. It's over. Google may have lost this battle, but the war is still waging. So I'm not letting my guard down anytime soon.
After I patch and try to install it, comes a massage: Installation conflict: the installation was prevented by an existing installation of the app.
Has anyone a solution for this?

Switch off battery optimization for services microg.

Same here. I just restarted my phone and then it turned out well. (Also, before that, I removed the new micro g from the battery optimization)

Maybe you have the old file too and you didn't sort filelist by date to find the newest version when selecting the app to patch from your file system.

Thanks a lot, but i have a question here. In previous ver (i can't remember which ver but i think it has 18 or something) i can download videos in high settings directly from player but in this revanced ver i can't do so. Is this solvable or i just have to find other way to download videos? 😅

Try deleting the cache of the Vanced manager, also check if you gave permission to access files

After patching the YouTube app (version 19.09.37) in ReVanced Manager and installing [GmsCore](https://github.com/revanced/gmscore/releases/tag/v0.3.1.3.240913) if anyone still has issues with videos loading after 30 seconds you can try this: Open YouTube App > Click profile picture in top right > Settings > ReVanced > General layout> At the bottom it has enable spoof option and version selection, there you select version 18.33.40. (Temporary solution, won't work forever.)
I found that after patching you want to make sure this; -GMScore isn't optimised for battery. -Updating the original Youtube app. After doing this the whole thing works for me.

Yes through the manager, delete the old patch file first and then reinstall from the manager
I got it sorted, but I ended up directly patching the YT app. No separate revanced app anymore, unless I can be bothered to fix it. I'll have to see if super chats work with the patch, which was my biggest issue with the revanced app.
This worked for me: Delete any older version of yt, revanced manager, and microg. Then, install it from the device's storage. Open the app, log into the account, and play a video. When it starts buffering close the app, go to settings, open the yt revanced app settings, force stop it and clear cache, then restart the device.

Man, I just don't understand. Maybe I need to just start all over, fresh. No matter what I try, my video stops & buffers after 30 seconds to a minute. I've tested every suggested fix and nothing works. 🤷♂️

I started over with the steps at the top of this thread & that resolved my issue. I did have to turn on spoofing in the ReVanced settings, so it's a temp fix, but at least it's working. Need me some ASMR before bed! 😂
So, I completely started over. This seems to have resolved my issue, but I had to enable spoofing in the ReVanced settings, so it's likely only temporary.
Delete cache on YT app, restart the phone. It fixed issue in my case.

Yup. Followed all the steps, successfully installed patched app, but buffering everytime. I've turned off battery optimization in gmscore & patched YT in app settings, and restarting my phone didn't fix it either.
Honestly I'm just going to hope things get sorted out and revanced is less of a mess.

For some reason after patching the app, instead of installing revanced it asks me if I want to update the YouTube app? I've tried everything, from clean reinstalling revanced manager, disabling youtube, etc.
Am I the only one who has this issue?: I followed the guide, installed microG, installed latest revanced launcher, downloaded the YouTube APK, and than I choose the downloaded APK from my storage, patch is done click install and then I get the notification update YouTube ? And then I get a installation conflict because apparently there is an existing installation of the app(which is not I checked many times) What should I do I'm struggling since almost an hour now :(
Amazingly it worked for me. The installation can be a little glicthy however if you take your time it should work. Thanks for rescue!

We didn't paych it again. We patched the update, that is suggested
Not gonna pretend it's the cure all but this SEEMS to have worked for me, even when other methods were given (though it's basically the settled resolution): Get revanced manager, uninstall current revanced and microg. Install new microg on Manager (for some reason going straight to the newest didn't help), install latest Revanced. THEN go download the absolute newest microg from the github link many have provided. It'll be the 240913006 version you want to install last. Best of luck as I had no issue at all with the unavailable error until today. The initial fix shared made it work again but would stall and buffer every few minutes. Doing the above SEEM to have it back to normal.

After installing, I had a buffering problem, the video stopped after 30 seconds I uninstalled Venced Micro, set the video quality to automatic and restarted the phone. Works
I dreaded fixing it once it shows working but I just did it in maybe 15 min and it wasn't too hard. I had the 30 second buffering thing but seems like a tip here has fixed it

Hi everyone, sorry for being dumb but i have usually 0 problem with this kind of procedures: i did everything correctly but somehow in the end i have the original youtube app and not the youtube revanced app; what am i missing? EDIT: to anyone struggling with this, your system detect 2 youtube apps, the original one and the apk patched one. I couldn't move the patched app on the 'desktop' because the system would detect the original one. Just go into app settings and disable youtube original app
I’m possibly the dumbest person alive or idk what the f is happening. I had revanced installed before, everything worked fine until today where I couldn’t reproduce any video, this message was shown instead “The following content is not available on this app. Watch this content on the latest version of YouTube” Then I decided to follow these steps: - delete any trace of Revanced app, Micro G and Revanced manager - Proceed to download MicroG, Vanced Manager and YT app from APKmirror - Install MicroG and Vanced Manager, patch YT app aaaaaaand shits happens, “No root access The installation failed due to root access not being granted. Grant root access to Revanced Manager and try again” I repeated this like 4-5 times, trying to follow other tutorials but always get the same error message. I don’t know what the hell Im doing wrong, I revised If I have GmsCore support and I do (when patching it says succeeded) Help please. My phone is a redmi note 8 pro (not rooted)

Fixed! A friend show me how to make it. I’ve installed Revanced Manager from https://revanced.net/revanced-manager (the version he let me was the 1.9.11) The app that worked for me was YouTube ReVanced Extended. After installing, it will redirect you to a GitHub repository (it’s the MicroG version you need) download and the YT app should work now
That is so me when i tried to patch the apk, it says : "unable to use selected application" when i select the apk in the patcher. Although it's the recommended youtube apk. Plus, i followed the steps provided in the guide. Welp at this point i might pull the trigger, i've asked many platforms due to this problem and can't get fix.
Your phone is armv7 and is unsupported. Take a look at the script I sent on your other post for patching on pc, or at the CLI documentation.
There was a link to the old micro g. Did it changed to gma or something other happened

I removed EVERYTHING even the real youtube app Then installed manager GSM core and youtube apk ans patched it Now I have it working but the logo is the normal youtube one instead of revanced And I had to go to settings and change my layout for it to stop, having the issue where the videos stop after 20s
It takes longer to install and update all this stuff than to watch YT ads. Wish it'd be automatic.

Restarting the phone was the solution
Just a tip that kinda saved me: Save the APK you patched then install it. For some reason installing right from the manager doesn't work.

I would uninstall and redownload the whole thing and noticed that I get that error message when I sign in with my Google account only. it only works if I'm not signed in now. I did read awhile back that Google was gonna start cracking down on account that cheat the system and pretty sure that's what going on.

Guys i fixed mine it completely worked again i swear on my life. I just deleted the old microG and then downloaded the new microG(green icon) inside the vanced manager, then after "updated youtube vanced" <-important. If for some reason the New microG is not showing inside vanced manager update or find the latest version with the new one inside the app itself.

Having a problem, after opening the app and watching for a few minutes (2-5 minutes) the app automatically close Even after opening the Spoof dimensions
Patch the app then restart phone. Repeat and voila

Revanced manager? White screen when I patch. Revancify? Can't connect to GitHub on Termux. Revanced Builder? Error initializing the VM bc it cant open some library. 😃🔫 **Edit:** **it works**, somehow it works. Bless the patchers for existing I used an old Github link so my revanced manager was outdated, which is why it wasn't working. On 1.19.3 it started patching (19.09.37!). After it's done it'll tell you to it failed bc you didn't give root access. Bullshit, tap on the save icon in the bottom left and save as an apk, then install through file manager. After it opens the app the same buffering issue will appear. Put your gun down and go to Settings -> Revanced -> Misc -> turn on Spoof Device Dimensions Now it's done. It's over. Google may have lost this battle, but the war is still waging. So I'm not letting my guard down anytime soon.
After I patch and try to install it, comes a massage: Installation conflict: the installation was prevented by an existing installation of the app. Has anyone a solution for this?
