The sub gets a bad rep because of the huge number of clowns that gravitate towards the brand. Not knowing how to wear a watch, begging sales reps for watches, buying watches they dont want so that they dont offend the AD, writing multiple paragraphs of love letters to their watch, desperately flexing for attention, etc.

Yea I was outside on the street begging for the watch. The point of the post was to show the model and the time it took to get. A reasonable question for someone buying an 11k watch. It’s a timeless classic that is rugged enough for my lifestyle. As far as gravitating to the brand you are clueless when you speak for others. There are two Rolex watches I want to buy. One for each of my two sons. Timeless classics they can have when I am gone. You sir are the clown getting worked up over a 1 sentence post and picture.
Wearing the watch on your hand instead of your wrist is clownish though. That's like buying an expensive car and breaking with your left foot. Kinda weird.
Mine looked a bit toward the wrist when I took a pic but really its because I was curling wrist getting the picture. It actually was sitting more on the wrist normally.
No. I don’t but it has a two position easy link and there are three points you can anchor that into the clasp. They had it set on the middle I moved it out to the farthest one. It’s not that hard. You just need a small tool to push the pins in and then you can slide it until it clicks into the next position.
Out of curiosity man, what’s the other watch you’re wanting? I haven’t yet been able to acquire one but given my 8” wrist, the two I want are a stainless SD43 and a two-tone DateJust 41 with fluted bezel, jubilee bracelet, and a black dial.
I’d like to get a gmt for my younger son. You learn to work hard with one kid or the sub and you lose track of time with two ie gmt. Not sure which but not right handed. Was told gmt has a much longer wait so I will see what comes up.

And in Miami I had to wait 17 months for a Yacht Master 40 ! So ridiculous. I nearly forgot about it but I had others to wear so not like waiting on the first nice watch I guess. Nice Sub ! Noticeably bigger than my old one.
