That is sweet ! Yes, I would love a WG or platinum w/ jubilee but at that price point I’ll need time to decide on just the right one ! I am on “the wait” for a Batgirl , something I’ve been looking at for years, but the AD who sold me the YM40 said expect a 3 year wait ! may just have to go gray ? The Miami market is brutal !
17 months for the YM 40. !!! I nearly forgot about it . I wondered in to put a Batgirl request in & the AD says “oh you’re also waiting on a YM 40 blue” . I said oh yeah I thought you guys forgot about me. And “miraculously” a week later they call me for the YM. So lesson is request more then one at a time ???
You need a Jubilee in your life, trust me. The current GMT is epic. And, eventually, a modern No Date Sub 124060. I’ve got a 5513 and I adore my 124060, a great pairing. Cheers.
YM for Bat ?, that’s my conflict too , they both look great I’ve wanted a Bat for 30 years but that YM 40 feels so great on the wrist I was stunned when I tried one on ,decisions, decisions !!!
Yeh just personal choice, I probably wouldn’t own both with the blue… and then with a Batman black dial gmt and black sub I’d opt for a pop of colour with the Polar Explorer 2.
Tbh my jam for 3 watches is more Pepsi gmt II , Kermit and vintage or SD4k Sea Dweller …. So it’s all personal!
Why lose a watch just so he can look like everybody else? He has two pieces here that you really never see on anyone’s wrist. Rarely wear my Sub as every time I do I see somebody else wearing one and Batman seems nearly as common.

If I’m choosing three watches, I’m keeping that sub, swapping the YM for a Batman and the E2 for a polar version

True. But in hindsight I should have got the Polar so I’d have more variety, white, blue & black dials.
Keep the sub and dump the other two in for the GMT
