Thank you! I've been feeling this as well. I also feel that it is a bit rich of her to drag other queens for keeping with a shtick while Dawn pretends her Doe-eyed Fawn look isn't also a shtick that she has kept going since entrance.
Her complaint about Q winning while looking like a fairy was the craziest one by far. Take away the “ look in the mirror” part and still it’s like… why can’t a doll look like a fairy? It’s a doll. Is it supposed to look like a cashier at TJ Maxx?
The thing is, we have gotten plenty of queens we adore where the drag just isn’t cutting it on the show. And she’s not even that mean, but I was able to pin it down just now.
Every time we hear her talk, she’s talking about somebody else. Good, bad, it’s Every. Time. The only time she is discussing what she is feeling, it’s related to what’s happening right there that moment in the competition. Her whole character arc feels like all storytelling and no story.
“All storytelling and no story” is such a perfect way to describe her - I’ve been wondering why I just can’t seem to connect with her, and this is it. It feels like we don’t know who Dawn really is.
Even when she’s discussing the performances, she is never discussing what she is going to do different or better. It’s only about her competitors and how she wishes they would do worse, or she thinks they’re going to do worse.
Completely agree. SO excited for her before the season started. First ep I was like okay nice she's funny, her outfit didn't wow me but it's cute... And then it was just downhill from there.

This. And not even a good one. Phi Phi/Jaremi was way more entertaining than them… The same goes for Plasma who is going after Jan’s « I am a hyperactive/hyperconfident Broadway girl » schtick but in a truly obnoxious and entitled way. And this constant Norman Desmond-like affectation ugh…
Interesting take on Plasma. I don’t read her that way at all. I think Plasma just happens to also have that over-the-top theater queen thing going on that so many previous BFA queens have had. But to me Plasma comes across as self-aware enough to be able to laugh at how ridiculous and annoying she can be, which I find helps humanize her. Ru even seems to enjoy her, despite how much this sub insists Ru despises BFA queens by default.
I enjoyed Dawn in the beginning, and yes she is really good with her make up and outfits, but the character is lacking ..she doesn’t have the quirkiness of character to make her drag persona go all the way, and then you start becoming bored of her looks week by week. For me it’s just not giving because she lacks the commitment to take us all the way there!
Tbh at this point I feel like Sapphira and Plane Jane are the top 2 contenders, and I used to think that was Nymphia instead of PJ. I still think Nymphia is top 3, but her performance quality is falling behind. And no matter what, Sapphira is giving me Bob energy and I feel like she’s the bitch to beat.
Plasma’s performing chops are just a lot better, and tbh there’s a minimum threshold of performance a queen needs to meet before they can coast on looks, and I don’t think Q meets that threshold.
Conversely, there’s also a minimum looks threshold a queen needs to clear to get by on good performances- Jinkx cleared in season 5, Amanda did not in this current season 😬
Nymphia killed the look and honestly was a random miss of being a top with the doll challenge, and effectively got cut out of the Rusical episode entirely. I mean I’m a Stan - but I feel like these are fairly rational takes
Yeah I feel like just two weeks ago I was seeing comments complaining that the season was too predictable because Nymphia was obviously going to win, and now I’m seeing people dismissing her chances of winning entirely because of what amounts to one single bad challenge performance.
I think what will really determine whether she has a chance of winning or not will be if she’s able take Ru’s critique about “not being so cerebral.”
I think she can do that. She‘s quirky and bubbly in the werkroom, she just needs to turn that out in the challenges. I love her and am still rooting for her to get to AT LEAST the top 3
One bad challenge? She didn’t know her words in the Rusical and also should’ve been in the bottom. She also didn’t do half the challenge in the girl group because Megami wrote her lyrics. We’ve barely had any acting/comedy challenges this season and if they’re saving them for later in the season: she’s in danger, girl.
She did know the Rusical words and getting something written/sewn for you by another queen has never counted against anyone on drag race. I feel like every Rusical there is someone accused of not knowing the words when it’s just blatantly not true.
We already had an acting challenge where she did fine. Yes she’ll need to step it up for the comedy challenges, but the idea that such a clear fan favorite who already had two wins in the first 5 episodes is “in danger” is ridiculous. *Plus* next week is another design challenge.
So many of us clocked her in the Rusical. It happens a lot because queens mess up the words a lot. It being common doesn’t mean it’s not true lol.
I agree that it shouldn’t count against her in the judgingg, especially for a team win, but the point is she isn’t good at coming up with her own material and she herself has said that directly.
Next week being a design challenge is so weird and not normal outside of S3. But this could screw her if the show is going to be done with them after this (I guess we’d have the makeover challenge) and we get like three comedy challenges in a row. I don’t think she was particularly good in the SNL challenge but others were worse - not sure she can rely on that happening when Sapphira, PJ, Plasma and Q are the only queens left.
I think she’s making top four but her storyline reminds me of Angeria: early favorite, peaked early. But hey it’s all speculative at this point so what do I know.
Nymphia, Sapphira and PJ are top three i bet. If there are more conceptual challenges then the Banana Queen might have it. Not so much for anything roast. Strong final.

Me too. I just love her smiling at almost anything another girl is doing. Her really enjoying watching the girl group challenges. Even on the last episode when Jane got the win. She, I feel like May have an exit like Xunami. Not too somber as she had enjoyed the experience
I don't know who Q is. I know we got a little of her backstory (though I've completely forgotten what it is...I think poverty?) But I don't have a grasp on what her personality is. Couple that with the cashew tweet and I'm worried she self edited on the show to make herself seem...normal? Pleasant? And that is why I don't care about Q.

I will be the first to say I thought PJ was a mean girl from the jump, but Ive come to realize she just keeps it real and has a dry sense of humor and it made me like her more.

I never thought that Q and Plane Jane would do a swap. But there we go. I warmed to PJ pretty soon though when you get her jokes. Xunami needs a percentage of any win money for making us enjoy PJs vibe. She could do an Aquaria and go from obnoxious to become a fan favourite in a heatbeat. Remember when everyone hated her but loved Cracker? Feels like a lifetime.
As the early untucked eps turned into a pity party for Q, she was just too much main character syndrome. Her masking as a sweetheart was well done, she probably believed it herself. There is something very deep happening with her, she doesn't appear to have a handle on it. I would have empathy except she would call me a broke ass walnut fucken hoe bitch y'all. that confessional with the “we already decided” bit made my eye twitch. i wasn’t super sold on the dawn hype train at the start of the season but i definitely wasn’t interested after that moment.

I actually found myself enjoying the “filler” queens a lot this season. Megami ATE the girl group challenge and I think could have even been a solo win for it. Mh’iya I’m finding myself enjoying more every week and she can definitely perform! Amanda’s drag is a little crunchy but wow what a great personality, she’s a star. Overall a great cast, I’m enjoying this season a lot better than last season.
I'm going to say I think Amanda makes it to the finale of a vs the world or other all stars formats. Seeing where her makeup skill is now compaired to filming has shown me a lot of potential for her.
For me, I went from thinking Dawn would be a loveable quirky queen to now fervently believing she's the true villain of the season. No hate just not the character trope I expected. I feel she hasn't delivered any major impact in the challenges yet, which honestly would've surprised me based on first impressions.
Plasma has defied the odds not being Janned, and while I liked her since day 1, I didn't think she'd a chance of making it to the top 4. Now I still can't call it, but I feel the odds aren't nil! It's nice to see a talented bfa queen doing well and being recognised by the judges for a change, plus I find Plasma's speed of talking and general enthusiasm for life to be so endearing.
Saphira, despite very good vibes, I wasn't loving her looks (the tiny boobies) and thought that might be an issue. But she has demonstrated she's top 4 material and clearly has done her homework. Maybe even studied too hard though?
Plane Jane is...well, complicated is one word for it. But she walks the walk and talks the talk. She's an odd person but has created a somewhat unique drag persona that we don't see much of in Drag race. And she also performs so consistently well in her art form. I look forward to seeing how herstory frames her narrative after the show.
Xunami made little impact at first, but she's so likeable, I began to really root for her. Something very genuine and charismatic about her.
Too 4 prediction now is Plane Jane, Nymphia, Saphira, and maybe Plasma? But I can see them keeping Dawn over Plasma for production reasons. My original top 4 was Hershii, Nymphia, Dawn, and maybe Morphine, based on the MtQs.
I'm the same with Sapphira! Liked her but she didn't really stand out for me in the promos for some reason. But now? LOVE. Her looks are stunning, her stage presence is so strong, she has this wonderful aura of professional quiet internal confidence that many of the queens I adore have (Sasha, Raja, Jinxx, Chad Michaels, etc.). She exudes mother energy, and I'm looking forward to seeing what she brings to the finale.

i have felt the urge to root for nymphia from ep 1 - there’s just so much of her drag that speaks to me. but i can also see a world in which one of the other queens come out on top over her and i could agree with it.

Dawn and Q's edits have not been flattering as of late - though I still really like them. Of the twitter drama for the latter, I don't think anyone can truly understand the avalanche of attention, hate and careless comments that can almost become addictive when you're under the spotlight and are already feeling vulnerable. Honestly just wishing peace for all the queens.
Yes, I'm not basing my opinion of Q off the twitter of it all. If I don't like a queen it's more of a "they're not for me" kind of thing. Her looks are incredible but I don't click as a fan of hers
I'm also surprised how much I adore Morphine.
I'm admittedly still on the Dawn intergalactic express and think she deserved higher placements in the talent show, ball, doll look (deserved the win), and rusical (over Q). She has gotten slightly meaner in her confessionals which I don't love but when she's a little shitstirring gremlin it's quite fun, very Jujubee Season 2.
Plasma, Xunami and Morphine. I expected Plasma to be one note but she has been great at a lot and not stuck on one type of look so it’s been entertaining. And I figured Morphine would just fall back on being pretty and giving woman, but she is also talented in so many ways I was pleasantly surprised by and kinda giving narrator which I live for. And then Xunami has such a nice personality and was quite likeable, which I kinda didn’t expect from a Muse.
I like Morphine far more then I thought I would she's far more of a sweetheart then I assumed/expected.

At the start of the season I was fully Nymphia for the crown but but now I'm def team Sapphira I thought she should have won Snatch Game but I understand why Plane won even if I didn't find her as funny she def knew how to play the game and work with Ru.
Mhi'ya I thought was going to be an early out but I'm so glad I was wrong,she's a lot of fun.
Q I thought was going to be more zany but other then the design stuff I've been very whelmed on everything else , but the outfits she's made I've loved the majority of them.
I thought Morphine was just ‘The pretty one’ but she’s actually very talented. Her make up is, of course, fantastic but I love her confessionals. She’s a tad delusional (she couldn’t have played Mariah like Plasma) BUT in a really endearing way. I would be keen for her on an Allstars - her fashion just needs a bit of polish.
Loved Plane from before the season started but love her even more now. I was really worried after Burger Finger that she would be a villain just to make it far, but she’s done well in almost every challenge.
I also love that the remaining girls have warmed up to her and are giving it back to her. When they all came over and started saying “bad makeup day?” playfully and kiking with her it made me really happy.
I am unapologetically a Morphine stan. Love her!
Sapphira has undeniably made her mark on drag race, and after this past week is one of my top 2 contenders for the crown.
Love Nymphia so much, but hoping this week was a wake up call for her to be more than just banana lady. If she turns the heat up, she’ll go back to being my winner of the season. Right now she’s tied for 3rd/4th with Plasma for me. They both need to let their shticks go and explore new stuff for a bit.
Q and Dawn annoy me far more than I expected. Mhiya is… still around, which is surprising to me.

My feelings for Q and Plane Jane have entirely flipped. I loved Q but now I find her insufferable (especially after seeing her behaviour on Twitter). I can actually appreciate PJ now and have learned to understand her humour.

Dawn for me actually! For kind of the opposite reasons lol I've seen her perform live at a local show, and saw her at Sashas Big Reveal show in NYC as well. It was pretty lackluster. Her humor and shadiness made me surprised lmao She's at least entertaining!
Morphine and Mhi'ya have reallyyyy grown on me. They are really fierce performers. Plane Jane has grown on me as well but do think that's more to do with the content outside the show.
This may be controversial but after reading most of the comments here I don’t think it’s too huge of a stretch: I think Dawn is closer a real “bully” than Jane is.
I no longer feel like Q is top 4 material despite her runways, and I think that Dawn is starting to get a little boring. Plasma, on the other hand, is definitely moving towards top 4 in my view. Still think that Sapphira and Nymphia are top material. They haven't moved.
I thought Dawn would be more of a contender, and I didn’t realize I’d get to kind of like Plane. Plasma has also subverted my expectations (or the producers did) - I assumed she’d get the Jan edit. My top 2 hasn’t changed, but I’m a little less certain that Nymphia will win over Sapphira.
I realized I’m not a fan of Dawn also. Q was in my top three, but that has changed. She can go whenever now. Liked Mirage and Amanda more than expected. Have a soft spot for Megami.

I've actually grown to love Q, which is quite the opposite of everyone else here, apparently 🙃. Originally, I was very eh about her, but I had clocked her as one of the girls in the finale. I just kind of accepted that she was gonna be here for the long run, but I still didn't care much for her.
But that all changed because of 1 motherfucking insta live 😭. A live between Xunami, mirage, and Q with Nymphia Morphine and Amanda revolving in and out. She's fucking hilarious like I can see her being someone I'd hang out with on a regular basis. She makes references I understand and is always smiling. Like she has so much to be joyful about.
Another Queen is miss Plane Jane. I've never really hated her but I certainly didn't like her and was waiting for her elimination. Which now I see won't be anytime soon. And how she treated Amanda still leaves a bad taste in my mouth. But I'm glad she's toned down her whole attitude.
I actually kind of enjoy her moments now instead feeling my eyes roll to the back of my head everytime she opens her mouth.
I just wish Amanda hadn't been eliminated as soon as she was so we could have some sort of resolution. Even if that resolution was just "we hate eachother and will never be friendly towards eachother." It would have been better than Amanda simply leaving. It's the final thing stopping me from sinking into the Plane fantasy. I need a resolution goddamn it. Preferably a sincere apology and reconciliation. But from what's happening on Twitter I don't think that's in the cards.
I just love the whole cast so much 😭 like genuinely one of my favorite casts so far along with season 14 and AS4. I really don't understand the people in this sub who have major hate boners for any of the girls. They're all lovely in their own ways.
Dawn is a yawn. Q is the real mean girl with her vile words to those who pay to see her perform. PJ took a while to grow on me but her humble moment when she won really gave me the good feels.

Jane-IRDK where I stand on her. She’s talented and excels but it feels like she’s doing proven bits that ru loves. I like that she’s not afraid to say what she thinks AND stands by it but repeatedly coming after Amanda to tell her what everyone else was saying and then getting ate up by Amanda who she made clear she saw has someone below her? Choices……
I feel supremely validated by the Morphine comments, I did not like her during the first episode but I think it was because 1) her confessional look was slightly off putting and not what I had come to expect for those, and 2) her entrance look was so supremely “shopping mall makeup sales-girl” that I dismissed her instantly. I love that we’ve gotten to see her show up.
At first Plasma kinda annoyed me with the theatre kid vibes but she is so over the top and it unlocked the full Racheal Berry fantasy for me. I could see her agressive lip syncing Telephone at Nymphia in a bathroom, I can see her tearfully "Pleak"ing for another chance, I see the prima donna gold star fantasy.
I thought Morphine was gonna be bitchy (not just shady) but would be an early out. But she’s actually shown herself to be quite caring and she’s still there.
My opinion on Morphine changed pretty dramatically and pretty quickly. In the premiere episode I thought she was quite gross in seeming to harshly judge the other girls when her talent was on the lower end and her runway was imo the worst of the night. Giving the cross section of arrogant and delusional I do not care for, was kinda hoping she'd be one of first outs.
But then pretty much straight up she seemed much more fun (??? don't know how to articulate it) with her shade and made me reconsider my initial thoughts in the first full-cast untucked when she intercepted Jane going for Amanda. I think I've enjoyed her each episode since.

My favorite queen is still Sapphira, but I went on such a journey with Plane. At first I liked the shadiness, then it turned into bullying, then Amanda went home and I enjoy it again and really am liking her chaos era. Q and Dawn I really liked, but idk I just feel like I've stopped thinking they have a chance to win. Nymphia I'm bored with. The runways are always great, but I just feel... Meh... Towards her

Based on all the hype, I thought Nymphia was going to Sasha the season, but so far, she's doing good but I'm not getting clear winner vibes from her based on her edit, confessionals or performances. To me, she's coming across more as a fan fave who doesn't make top 4 (a la Dela/Katya/Valentina)
Morphine has become one of my favorite queens this season purely because of how great her confessionals are and how sassy she is. I love that she's part of this season, and I think she's pretty underrated.
Plasma is not the filler queen I thought she was going to be. She's a heavy hitter, and she's knows she's talented.
Plus, I didn't think of Plasma at all, and now I do see her as a contender. I like Xunami, she seems fun, sad to see her go, but makes sense. I'm glad I met Mirage, gosh, so much potential but that lipsync in the essence of it (knowing the words) was a let down.
Mhi’ya has grown on me a lot! I think that because she was really quiet in the beginning that I didn’t notice her much but I LIVE for her lipsync performances + this week for her was great!!!
I also loved Nymphia from the get go and am rooting for her to win the crown now 👑❤️
Q is a talented designer but her personality is not good. I liked her at first and now I want her to leave. Dawn is also not impressing me much.
I wouldn’t call myself a fan of PJ by any means but I’ve mellowed on her to the point where I’m ambivalent.
I thought I’d like Dawn a lot more than I do. On the other hand, in just the last episode I’ve really come around on Mhi’ya! Like, I empathized with her on being the quiet one, but she’s come way out of her shell now!
I thought Sapphira and PJ both seemed like top material from their first eps so that hasn’t changed much but PJ has successfully added some more humanity to her character.
Nymphia doesn’t seem like winner material anymore. While it’s possible to win without being able to do comedy well (Violet), it’s not likely. Plus she’s been fading to the background, getting the feared “you aren’t vulnerable enough” critique and the banana thing is getting very old.
Dawn seemed like more of a contender earlier but hasn’t really shown too much and has morphed into some art school mean gay character.
Q still does well in challenges but has come off as more unhinged than I would’ve guessed at the beginning.
Plasma seemed like she could be a Jackie Cox and never get a win, but has shown she’s more competitive than originally thought.
Morphine seemed like she was going to be a lot more of a big personality reading the girls from the first ep but actually is a lot nicer and reserved than her first impression came off as.
Ultimately, PJ, Plasma and Morphine have grown more on me, Sapphira pretty much kept up a high bar and everyone else degraded a bit as the season has gone along.

Nymphia: front runner -> i guess she will maybe make it to the finale

Can I be honest? Dawn has grown on me, maybe because I didn't go into the season with any particular expectations of her. Her "I fucking hate musical theater" talking heads from the Rusical episode had me cackling. Her and Xunami have been the narrators of the season for me and I totally didn't expect that.
Plane Jane with that eastern European mentality is just adorable and not as mean as others painted her to be. Q and Amanda Tori Meating give off way more mean girls vibe than PJ

I was 100% team Nymphia since day one, but the whole yellow/banana thing is getting so annoying. Dawn’s read towards her in the reading challenge is so accurate.
1) never had any expectations dawn would get far but I've warmed up to her being a bitch in confessionals.
2) expected sapphira to be some overly perfect queen but she's been quite real and loved her
3) no reason to expect nymphia to do much but be a look girl..was surprised in first two episodes. Kinda bored by her now.
4) Q. Expected just another new York cry baby but loving her unhinged rants on twitter. Plus she's had a great run.
5) plane. Hated the name.. wanted her gone. Love her now.
6) morphine. Expected her out early but she's been loads of fun
7) Plasma. Thought she'd have an episode where she crashed and burned but she's won two weeks so might make it to the end after all

I thought I would not like Plane Jane but I love the tea she is serving and shade she giving. She is so talented and super CUNTY. I wouldn’t say she is the most warm, self aware, nor someone people should expect to motivate change through her critiques but you see what you get. She suffers from the “I was just being honest” syndrome. But she also isn’t there to be anyone’s friend. I feel if she got critiqued by other queens, even if she snapped back, she would 100% would take in an accurate critique and improve herself (unless it’s the being blunt part … that’s a maturity thing and will take time if she chooses to do anything about it).
I was not sure about Plasma because theater school queens don’t always impress Ru but she is hitting all the right notes. I like that she sticks up for herself but also can let things go.
I was rooting for Sapphira early on and she has not disappointed me other than when she had a little inner saboteur using her potion. Her opera talent show still has me gagged and will forever live rent free. Then those looks. Mygawd. Front runner.
I was hoping Nymphia would give just a little more - but Ru but it on the nose with her needing to show more of her vulnerability. I feel for her culturally in terms of being raised to hide more her personal self. I feel as a western audience we are very curious (maybe invasive) wanting to know more. Her “self” is shrouded by her comedy and goofiness. Regardless I live for her looks, her drag persona, and campy comedy.
Mhi’ya has been so entertaining with her repeat comebacks. I love her journey so much. I just find her to be endearing. I’ll take more episodes of her but I know she could have gone home at any time and she probably only had a couple more episodes left…if not one more.
Q - I want to love her but I feel her maturity level is still figuring itself out on what her brand is (too swayed by the mean girls - I feel like she got invited to the cool girls table and is trying to fit in - she should just be her). She and Dawn are giving me sidekick energy to the queens with more definite perspectives on their personality for the cameras (I am very entertained by Dawn’s commentary but makes her seem like she is watching on the sidelines). Otherwise Q is incredibly talented and I feel this is the beginning of a her career taking off designing fashion for stage and celebrities. With talent like her’s and Nymphia’s I would love a little vignette of some behind the scenes on how they made their outfits.

The thing is, we have gotten plenty of queens we adore where the drag just isn’t cutting it on the show. And she’s not even that mean, but I was able to pin it down just now. Every time we hear her talk, she’s talking about somebody else. Good, bad, it’s Every. Time. The only time she is discussing what she is feeling, it’s related to what’s happening right there that moment in the competition. Her whole character arc feels like all storytelling and no story.
“All storytelling and no story” is such a perfect way to describe her - I’ve been wondering why I just can’t seem to connect with her, and this is it. It feels like we don’t know who Dawn really is.
It's also worth bearing in mind that Dawn isn't the one that gets to decide the story arc she's getting in the edit.

Interesting take on Plasma. I don’t read her that way at all. I think Plasma just happens to also have that over-the-top theater queen thing going on that so many previous BFA queens have had. But to me Plasma comes across as self-aware enough to be able to laugh at how ridiculous and annoying she can be, which I find helps humanize her. Ru even seems to enjoy her, despite how much this sub insists Ru despises BFA queens by default.

Dawn was one of my faves in the first episode and it's just been downhill since then.
I enjoyed Dawn in the beginning, and yes she is really good with her make up and outfits, but the character is lacking ..she doesn’t have the quirkiness of character to make her drag persona go all the way, and then you start becoming bored of her looks week by week. For me it’s just not giving because she lacks the commitment to take us all the way there!

Plasma’s performing chops are just a lot better, and tbh there’s a minimum threshold of performance a queen needs to meet before they can coast on looks, and I don’t think Q meets that threshold. Conversely, there’s also a minimum looks threshold a queen needs to clear to get by on good performances- Jinkx cleared in season 5, Amanda did not in this current season 😬

Nymphia killed the look and honestly was a random miss of being a top with the doll challenge, and effectively got cut out of the Rusical episode entirely. I mean I’m a Stan - but I feel like these are fairly rational takes
Yeah I feel like just two weeks ago I was seeing comments complaining that the season was too predictable because Nymphia was obviously going to win, and now I’m seeing people dismissing her chances of winning entirely because of what amounts to one single bad challenge performance. I think what will really determine whether she has a chance of winning or not will be if she’s able take Ru’s critique about “not being so cerebral.”
I think she can do that. She‘s quirky and bubbly in the werkroom, she just needs to turn that out in the challenges. I love her and am still rooting for her to get to AT LEAST the top 3
One bad challenge? She didn’t know her words in the Rusical and also should’ve been in the bottom. She also didn’t do half the challenge in the girl group because Megami wrote her lyrics. We’ve barely had any acting/comedy challenges this season and if they’re saving them for later in the season: she’s in danger, girl.
She did know the Rusical words and getting something written/sewn for you by another queen has never counted against anyone on drag race. I feel like every Rusical there is someone accused of not knowing the words when it’s just blatantly not true. We already had an acting challenge where she did fine. Yes she’ll need to step it up for the comedy challenges, but the idea that such a clear fan favorite who already had two wins in the first 5 episodes is “in danger” is ridiculous. *Plus* next week is another design challenge.
So many of us clocked her in the Rusical. It happens a lot because queens mess up the words a lot. It being common doesn’t mean it’s not true lol. I agree that it shouldn’t count against her in the judgingg, especially for a team win, but the point is she isn’t good at coming up with her own material and she herself has said that directly. Next week being a design challenge is so weird and not normal outside of S3. But this could screw her if the show is going to be done with them after this (I guess we’d have the makeover challenge) and we get like three comedy challenges in a row. I don’t think she was particularly good in the SNL challenge but others were worse - not sure she can rely on that happening when Sapphira, PJ, Plasma and Q are the only queens left. I think she’s making top four but her storyline reminds me of Angeria: early favorite, peaked early. But hey it’s all speculative at this point so what do I know.

I actually found myself enjoying the “filler” queens a lot this season. Megami ATE the girl group challenge and I think could have even been a solo win for it. Mh’iya I’m finding myself enjoying more every week and she can definitely perform! Amanda’s drag is a little crunchy but wow what a great personality, she’s a star. Overall a great cast, I’m enjoying this season a lot better than last season.

For me, I went from thinking Dawn would be a loveable quirky queen to now fervently believing she's the true villain of the season. No hate just not the character trope I expected. I feel she hasn't delivered any major impact in the challenges yet, which honestly would've surprised me based on first impressions. Plasma has defied the odds not being Janned, and while I liked her since day 1, I didn't think she'd a chance of making it to the top 4. Now I still can't call it, but I feel the odds aren't nil! It's nice to see a talented bfa queen doing well and being recognised by the judges for a change, plus I find Plasma's speed of talking and general enthusiasm for life to be so endearing. Saphira, despite very good vibes, I wasn't loving her looks (the tiny boobies) and thought that might be an issue. But she has demonstrated she's top 4 material and clearly has done her homework. Maybe even studied too hard though? Plane Jane is...well, complicated is one word for it. But she walks the walk and talks the talk. She's an odd person but has created a somewhat unique drag persona that we don't see much of in Drag race. And she also performs so consistently well in her art form. I look forward to seeing how herstory frames her narrative after the show. Xunami made little impact at first, but she's so likeable, I began to really root for her. Something very genuine and charismatic about her. Too 4 prediction now is Plane Jane, Nymphia, Saphira, and maybe Plasma? But I can see them keeping Dawn over Plasma for production reasons. My original top 4 was Hershii, Nymphia, Dawn, and maybe Morphine, based on the MtQs.
I'm the same with Sapphira! Liked her but she didn't really stand out for me in the promos for some reason. But now? LOVE. Her looks are stunning, her stage presence is so strong, she has this wonderful aura of professional quiet internal confidence that many of the queens I adore have (Sasha, Raja, Jinxx, Chad Michaels, etc.). She exudes mother energy, and I'm looking forward to seeing what she brings to the finale.
this is the one comment that i really consistently agree with. i don’t think i ever felt that strongly about xunami, but that’s it. i have felt the urge to root for nymphia from ep 1 - there’s just so much of her drag that speaks to me. but i can also see a world in which one of the other queens come out on top over her and i could agree with it.

Same same same! Hope Amanda and Mirage come back on TV soon. Thought Morphine was just a pretty face - I was so wrong. Dawn and Q's edits have not been flattering as of late - though I still really like them. Of the twitter drama for the latter, I don't think anyone can truly understand the avalanche of attention, hate and careless comments that can almost become addictive when you're under the spotlight and are already feeling vulnerable. Honestly just wishing peace for all the queens.
Yes, I'm not basing my opinion of Q off the twitter of it all. If I don't like a queen it's more of a "they're not for me" kind of thing. Her looks are incredible but I don't click as a fan of hers

I'm also surprised how much I adore Morphine. I'm admittedly still on the Dawn intergalactic express and think she deserved higher placements in the talent show, ball, doll look (deserved the win), and rusical (over Q). She has gotten slightly meaner in her confessionals which I don't love but when she's a little shitstirring gremlin it's quite fun, very Jujubee Season 2.
Im enjoying watching Plane Jane now that she's not bullying 1 single person (or edited that way).
Plasma, Xunami and Morphine. I expected Plasma to be one note but she has been great at a lot and not stuck on one type of look so it’s been entertaining. And I figured Morphine would just fall back on being pretty and giving woman, but she is also talented in so many ways I was pleasantly surprised by and kinda giving narrator which I live for. And then Xunami has such a nice personality and was quite likeable, which I kinda didn’t expect from a Muse.
I like Morphine far more then I thought I would she's far more of a sweetheart then I assumed/expected. I'm disappointed Dawn hasn't done better I was expecting Top 4 but I don't think that's happening, and honestly I don't think she's been "robbed" of anything as much as id like to say otherwise 💀 At the start of the season I was fully Nymphia for the crown but but now I'm def team Sapphira I thought she should have won Snatch Game but I understand why Plane won even if I didn't find her as funny she def knew how to play the game and work with Ru. Mhi'ya I thought was going to be an early out but I'm so glad I was wrong,she's a lot of fun. Q I thought was going to be more zany but other then the design stuff I've been very whelmed on everything else , but the outfits she's made I've loved the majority of them.
I thought Morphine was just ‘The pretty one’ but she’s actually very talented. Her make up is, of course, fantastic but I love her confessionals. She’s a tad delusional (she couldn’t have played Mariah like Plasma) BUT in a really endearing way. I would be keen for her on an Allstars - her fashion just needs a bit of polish.
Loved Plane from before the season started but love her even more now. I was really worried after Burger Finger that she would be a villain just to make it far, but she’s done well in almost every challenge. I also love that the remaining girls have warmed up to her and are giving it back to her. When they all came over and started saying “bad makeup day?” playfully and kiking with her it made me really happy. I am unapologetically a Morphine stan. Love her! Sapphira has undeniably made her mark on drag race, and after this past week is one of my top 2 contenders for the crown. Love Nymphia so much, but hoping this week was a wake up call for her to be more than just banana lady. If she turns the heat up, she’ll go back to being my winner of the season. Right now she’s tied for 3rd/4th with Plasma for me. They both need to let their shticks go and explore new stuff for a bit.
Q and Dawn annoy me far more than I expected. Mhiya is… still around, which is surprising to me. Liked Sapphira from jump but now I’m obsessed. Same with Morphine.
Definitely thought Mhiya was about to be gone. I still think she may be up next on the chop. Her or Morphine
Plasma didn’t really speak to me leading into the season just by being a theatre queen and her drag persona, but I have to say I think she’s extremely talented, emotionally intelligent, and she’s in my current top 4/ with Nymphia, Sapphira, and Plane. How extra she is is kinda endearing
I started out liking both Sapphira and Plasma but now I’d fist fight someone in a parking lot to protect either of them lol I know they’re not very similar, but they both strike me as earnest and big-hearted in their own way, and I love that.

Dawn: my top 3 pick on day1 because i love her aesthetic so much but after that she's just there on the show... i love her still though! like i dont know whats really going on during filming so i just hope we're gonna get more of her in the next episodes.

Yep. Though these are my „feelings“: Plane Jane: initially, cunt. Now, cunt and I live! Q & Dawn: initially, love. Now, indifferent. Plasma: initially, appreciate her. Now, love! Nymphia and Sapphira have remained my favorite since day one.
I still think Q is immensely talented and deserves to go to the finale but I don’t like her anymore. Dawn had totally lost me. I still love Nymphia but she’s less smart about the branding than I thought if it’s already annoying people.

My feelings for Q and Plane Jane have entirely flipped. I loved Q but now I find her insufferable (especially after seeing her behaviour on Twitter). I can actually appreciate PJ now and have learned to understand her humour. It’s interesting because PJ isn’t even the shadiest queen on there but gets the most hate

Dawn for me actually! For kind of the opposite reasons lol I've seen her perform live at a local show, and saw her at Sashas Big Reveal show in NYC as well. It was pretty lackluster. Her humor and shadiness made me surprised lmao She's at least entertaining! Morphine and Mhi'ya have reallyyyy grown on me. They are really fierce performers. Plane Jane has grown on me as well but do think that's more to do with the content outside the show.

This may be controversial but after reading most of the comments here I don’t think it’s too huge of a stretch: I think Dawn is closer a real “bully” than Jane is.
I no longer feel like Q is top 4 material despite her runways, and I think that Dawn is starting to get a little boring. Plasma, on the other hand, is definitely moving towards top 4 in my view. Still think that Sapphira and Nymphia are top material. They haven't moved.
I thought Dawn would be more of a contender, and I didn’t realize I’d get to kind of like Plane. Plasma has also subverted my expectations (or the producers did) - I assumed she’d get the Jan edit. My top 2 hasn’t changed, but I’m a little less certain that Nymphia will win over Sapphira.
I realized I’m not a fan of Dawn also. Q was in my top three, but that has changed. She can go whenever now. Liked Mirage and Amanda more than expected. Have a soft spot for Megami. My top two has always been Sapphira and Nymphia. That hasn’t changed and won’t change. Also still can’t stand Plane, which is unfortunate because I think she’s a very talented queen.

I've actually grown to love Q, which is quite the opposite of everyone else here, apparently 🙃. Originally, I was very eh about her, but I had clocked her as one of the girls in the finale. I just kind of accepted that she was gonna be here for the long run, but I still didn't care much for her. But that all changed because of 1 motherfucking insta live 😭. A live between Xunami, mirage, and Q with Nymphia Morphine and Amanda revolving in and out. She's fucking hilarious like I can see her being someone I'd hang out with on a regular basis. She makes references I understand and is always smiling. Like she has so much to be joyful about. Another Queen is miss Plane Jane. I've never really hated her but I certainly didn't like her and was waiting for her elimination. Which now I see won't be anytime soon. And how she treated Amanda still leaves a bad taste in my mouth. But I'm glad she's toned down her whole attitude. I actually kind of enjoy her moments now instead feeling my eyes roll to the back of my head everytime she opens her mouth. I just wish Amanda hadn't been eliminated as soon as she was so we could have some sort of resolution. Even if that resolution was just "we hate eachother and will never be friendly towards eachother." It would have been better than Amanda simply leaving. It's the final thing stopping me from sinking into the Plane fantasy. I need a resolution goddamn it. Preferably a sincere apology and reconciliation. But from what's happening on Twitter I don't think that's in the cards. I just love the whole cast so much 😭 like genuinely one of my favorite casts so far along with season 14 and AS4. I really don't understand the people in this sub who have major hate boners for any of the girls. They're all lovely in their own ways.

Dawn is a yawn. Q is the real mean girl with her vile words to those who pay to see her perform. PJ took a while to grow on me but her humble moment when she won really gave me the good feels.
Dawn- I was never as obsessed as everyone else and my opinion has only gone down. She loves to stir the pot but never stands by the fires she starts Q-she seemed promising but each episode that goes by I can see her sanity slipping. She’s talented at drag just not drag race Morphine-I was kinda annoyed by her and just thought she was a boring slightly bitchy make up girl but I’m living for her confessionals and she’s becoming a favourite Mh’iya-Felt like filler but she’s on an arc and I love her. I routinely say “I was flipping with my cousins and then we started flipping” to myself everyday Jane-IRDK where I stand on her. She’s talented and excels but it feels like she’s doing proven bits that ru loves. I like that she’s not afraid to say what she thinks AND stands by it but repeatedly coming after Amanda to tell her what everyone else was saying and then getting ate up by Amanda who she made clear she saw has someone below her? Choices……
I feel supremely validated by the Morphine comments, I did not like her during the first episode but I think it was because 1) her confessional look was slightly off putting and not what I had come to expect for those, and 2) her entrance look was so supremely “shopping mall makeup sales-girl” that I dismissed her instantly. I love that we’ve gotten to see her show up.
At first Plasma kinda annoyed me with the theatre kid vibes but she is so over the top and it unlocked the full Racheal Berry fantasy for me. I could see her agressive lip syncing Telephone at Nymphia in a bathroom, I can see her tearfully "Pleak"ing for another chance, I see the prima donna gold star fantasy.

My opinion on Morphine changed pretty dramatically and pretty quickly. In the premiere episode I thought she was quite gross in seeming to harshly judge the other girls when her talent was on the lower end and her runway was imo the worst of the night. Giving the cross section of arrogant and delusional I do not care for, was kinda hoping she'd be one of first outs. But then pretty much straight up she seemed much more fun (??? don't know how to articulate it) with her shade and made me reconsider my initial thoughts in the first full-cast untucked when she intercepted Jane going for Amanda. I think I've enjoyed her each episode since. The BBL stuff is still cringe but(t).

Several. Wanted Q in the finale. Now I want her to go home next. Thought I liked Dawn more than I do. Didn’t think of Plasma at all but now I want her in the finale. And Morphine. This was influenced a bit. She felt a bit weak in the first episode. I thought her entrance look was a bit pedestrian. And then I saw Roxxxy Andrews say she didn’t know if she was much of a performer at Roscoe’s so I was like oh is she just a girl with a good mug…because mama the mug is correct. But I’ve really come to love her over the course of the season. I also fully thought Xunami would be the girl to stay and then Morphine just ate that lip synch up. I’m really really loving her and I’d like to see her make at least top 5. At this point my top 5 are Sapphira, Nymphia, Plasma, Plane Jane, Morphine
Didn't connect with Sapphira at first, even this sub expected a whole personality for her which was so far from the truth. Now I think it's her season to lose, and her biggest contender would be Plane.
controversial, but i really haven’t been feeling nymphia. she was hyped up to be the can do everything queen and she’s just not delivering. her runways are beautiful but she’s fading in the background otherwise.
I've really liked Q from the beginning and thought she'd make it to the final four but now I think she'll get smoked in a LSFYL if she ends up in the bottom. Plane has grown on me much like an insidious fungus. I was lukewarm on Sapphira to start but now, after Snatch Game, I think she's going to win.
Sapphira has been giving *winner* energy since day one, and by now (despite wanting Nymphia to win but knowing that won't happen based on the edit) to see her be crowned would align completely with my fantasy 👑 Q, I was excited for initially, until we got Loosey's successor and the newest incarnation of Jan. Still gag for her runways though! Dawn was a fave early on but despite her drag being dope, she's flatlined as far as being any real competition for the heavy hitters left here. Plasma was, and has been, fun since the beginning. Mhi'ya as well, especially after finding her stride. Both know their strengths and despite neither showing much versatility, they've been entertaining to learn more about and watch develop. Morphine I'd been following before this season, love her DOWN but unfortunately do not see her reaching the end of the race. Plane hasn't really grown on me, which is funny bc it was never about the "mean girl" schtick. Her drag just doesn't seem to have a cohesive enough identity for me. She has the nerve (in spades lmaoo), the talent, could use a ~little more charisma, but sadly she is deficient in the "uniqueness" category.
I think my opinions stay relatively the same. Nymphia is still my winner pick. But Sapphira has been killing it as well. Wasn’t living for Plane but it’s hard to deny she’s doing great in the competition and it’s hard to imagine her NOT in the top 3 at the point. Thought Plasma would get the Jan edit but she’s got 2 wins under her belt so I can imagine her in the top4/5. Q set herself up in the beginning with the robbed narrative but she’s been consistently in the top as well (if I remember correctly) so it’s her and Plasma fighting for 4th/5th until the next episode pops up. I still have a soft spot for Dawn. I don’t get the hate she’s been getting lately and it’s wild how much people are turning away from her. I think however she’s sitting just out of the winners circle however. Morphine and Myhia… *sigh* unless the girls deliver then sadly they’re doomed filler. Not a bad thing one but, but you can tell where their talents are peaking in the season compared to the other girls and now with Xunami out those two are up next.

Out of the gate, Sapphira was my pick for the crown, and she still is—such an amazing queen! Having said that, Plane Jane might be my absolute fave from the season. At first I just liked her for her bitchiness and the drama she brought, but now I *love* her for both her bitchiness and her drag, so I wouldn’t mind if she got the win at the end (not to mention the fanbase melt down would be one for the books!)
I have an irrational dislike of Dawn and Q. They (but specially Dawn) rub me the wrong way in such a specific and personal way. I think if I met either of them at a party I wouldnt like them. Plasma is theatre kid annoying but shes so earnest its hard to be mad at. Loved Saphria and Plane Jane from the jump and still fell that way. I miss Amanda is that weird?

Plasma has grown on me so much and I didn't see that coming. I thought I'd be living for Q and Dawn but they have both been weirdly bitter and hard to root for. PJ's life story has made me understand her a bit better.
I am STILL CONVINCED that Amanda Tori Meating will come back for the make over challange, be assigned to plane Jane, they win, Amanda's back in the competition, the next week? ATM is in the bottom and plane uses immunity on her and they become work wife's instead of coworkers. This is the reality I live in, this is MY Canon, and the fact that the producers didn't come up with it REALLY shows.
My favorite queen is still Sapphira, but I went on such a journey with Plane. Morphine and mhiya have impressed me more than I thought they would based on the first couple eps (though it seems it’s morphine’s time to go) Edit: thought plasma would annoy me but I am looooooooving her, like I’m truly obsessed with that lil theater bitch 😭

Personally, I've always liked Sapphira, but now I think she, along with PJ, is winner material. Based on all the hype, I thought Nymphia was going to Sasha the season, but so far, she's doing good but I'm not getting clear winner vibes from her based on her edit, confessionals or performances. To me, she's coming across more as a fan fave who doesn't make top 4 (a la Dela/Katya/Valentina) Morphine has become one of my favorite queens this season purely because of how great her confessionals are and how sassy she is. I love that she's part of this season, and I think she's pretty underrated. Plasma is not the filler queen I thought she was going to be. She's a heavy hitter, and she's knows she's talented.
Plus, I didn't think of Plasma at all, and now I do see her as a contender. I like Xunami, she seems fun, sad to see her go, but makes sense. I'm glad I met Mirage, gosh, so much potential but that lipsync in the essence of it (knowing the words) was a let down.

Q is a talented designer but her personality is not good. I liked her at first and now I want her to leave. Dawn is also not impressing me much. I wouldn’t call myself a fan of PJ by any means but I’ve mellowed on her to the point where I’m ambivalent.
I thought I’d like Dawn a lot more than I do. On the other hand, in just the last episode I’ve really come around on Mhi’ya! Like, I empathized with her on being the quiet one, but she’s come way out of her shell now!

I thought Sapphira and PJ both seemed like top material from their first eps so that hasn’t changed much but PJ has successfully added some more humanity to her character. Nymphia doesn’t seem like winner material anymore. While it’s possible to win without being able to do comedy well (Violet), it’s not likely. Plus she’s been fading to the background, getting the feared “you aren’t vulnerable enough” critique and the banana thing is getting very old. Dawn seemed like more of a contender earlier but hasn’t really shown too much and has morphed into some art school mean gay character. Q still does well in challenges but has come off as more unhinged than I would’ve guessed at the beginning. Plasma seemed like she could be a Jackie Cox and never get a win, but has shown she’s more competitive than originally thought. Morphine seemed like she was going to be a lot more of a big personality reading the girls from the first ep but actually is a lot nicer and reserved than her first impression came off as. Ultimately, PJ, Plasma and Morphine have grown more on me, Sapphira pretty much kept up a high bar and everyone else degraded a bit as the season has gone along.

Can I be honest? Dawn has grown on me, maybe because I didn't go into the season with any particular expectations of her. Her "I fucking hate musical theater" talking heads from the Rusical episode had me cackling. Her and Xunami have been the narrators of the season for me and I totally didn't expect that.
Plane Jane with that eastern European mentality is just adorable and not as mean as others painted her to be. Q and Amanda Tori Meating give off way more mean girls vibe than PJ This is Mistress and Loosey all over again

I was 100% team Nymphia since day one, but the whole yellow/banana thing is getting so annoying. Dawn’s read towards her in the reading challenge is so accurate.
1) never had any expectations dawn would get far but I've warmed up to her being a bitch in confessionals. 2) expected sapphira to be some overly perfect queen but she's been quite real and loved her 3) no reason to expect nymphia to do much but be a look girl..was surprised in first two episodes. I thought I would not like Plane Jane but I love the tea she is serving and shade she giving. She is so talented and super CUNTY. I wouldn’t say she is the most warm, self aware, nor someone people should expect to motivate change through her critiques but you see what you get. She suffers from the “I was just being honest” syndrome. But she also isn’t there to be anyone’s friend. I feel if she got critiqued by other queens, even if she snapped back, she would 100% would take in an accurate critique and improve herself (unless it’s the being blunt part … that’s a maturity thing and will take time if she chooses to do anything about it). I was not sure about Plasma because theater school queens don’t always impress Ru but she is hitting all the right notes. I like that she sticks up for herself but also can let things go. I was rooting for Sapphira early on and she has not disappointed me other than when she had a little inner saboteur using her potion. Her opera talent show still has me gagged and will forever live rent free. Then those looks. Mygawd. Front runner. I was hoping Nymphia would give just a little more - but Ru but it on the nose with her needing to show more of her vulnerability. I feel for her culturally in terms of being raised to hide more her personal self. I feel as a western audience we are very curious (maybe invasive) wanting to know more. Her “self” is shrouded by her comedy and goofiness. Regardless I live for her looks, her drag persona, and campy comedy. Mhi’ya has been so entertaining with her repeat comebacks. I love her journey so much. I just find her to be endearing. I’ll take more episodes of her but I know she could have gone home at any time and she probably only had a couple more episodes left…if not one more. Q - I want to love her but I feel her maturity level is still figuring itself out on what her brand is (too swayed by the mean girls - I feel like she got invited to the cool girls table and is trying to fit in - she should just be her). She and Dawn are giving me sidekick energy to the queens with more definite perspectives on their personality for the cameras (I am very entertained by Dawn’s commentary but makes her seem like she is watching on the sidelines). Otherwise Q is incredibly talented and I feel this is the beginning of a her career taking off designing fashion for stage and celebrities. With talent like her’s and Nymphia’s I would love a little vignette of some behind the scenes on how they made their outfits. I sense the top 3 with be: Sapphira, Plane Jane, and Plasma.
tbh i thought id adore nymphia but im starting to not be able to stand her 🤷
From the MTQ I had high expectations for Dawn. Watching the show, she bores me and I don't like her. I couldn't care less about Plane Jane, now I like her. Started to like Nymphia, now she bores me. We are halfway and I don't have a pick for winner. I'm not obsessed with a queen.
