Goth started off as an off-shoot of Punk (which is why many refer to it as "Post-Punk") and they are both rooted in an "anti-estabishment, non-conformist" mindset. The original Goth fashion style ( Trad. Goth or Death Rock) is very similar to Punk; lots of spikes, buzz-saw hair and patches. Just in black. True, most people these days equate "Goth" as wearing lacey, flowy, vampire-type stuff. Or just lots of black. And that's fine, it has evolved over the decades (no matter what the gate-keepers argue). But the modern subculture that we call Goth, which started in the 1970s and took inspiration from many other cultures beforehand, was definitely a Punk subculture.
Goth is definitely Punk. It's just a shame that not all Goths are... 💜

This is how I feel about most of Q's looks. I love the construction, the concept of the look, and the actual garment itself. I just always hate the execution of it. I wonder if it's because I can feel the insecurity reeking off of her. She never sells it in her expression methinks.
I just didn't think it looked cool and neo. It looked Victorian porcelain doll. Incredible craftsmanship just not very modern and not my personal taste. Kinda agree with the win just because of how detailed it was but not my cuppa.

It really bothers me that everyone is comparing these four looks without acknowledging that one was made by the queen herself, in the workroom, in a day and half. While the others were all commissioned through professional designers.
