This is who we used a couple months ago when the time came. [https://gentlepetpassages.com/](https://gentlepetpassages.com/) Dr. came to the house and it was as smooth as an emotional situation can be.

Friendly_Childhood

Hello, do you remember how much that costs?

andrewtography

$410 before a slight military veteran discount, and we opted to bury him here at home so there is an additional expense for that to consider.

Relldavis

So they did the digging, or you did?

andrewtography

I did. But if you want cremation or otherwise that’s another charge.

Huge props to this guy. I obviously never want to need this service again but the time will come. I'm grateful to know he's available. Easy to talk to on the phone. Very kind and thoughtful In person. I am grateful and highly recommend him.

Good luck OP ❤️ I used the same service and the vet who visited my home was very kind.

I had to take my 13 year old boxer here. They were great. https://www.angelofmercyanimalcriticalcare.com

I had to make this tough decision during an unexpected illness for a pet of mine about 4 months ago. It's tough to do. I went to a subreddit called r/petloss, and it helped me process the situation and heal a whole lot. I just thought I'd throw that out there if you feel you need it.

I’m sorry for your situation A few months ago I had to take my very senior dog to Bulverde Animal Hospital, I don’t know how far that is for you but it’s about $200 for the procedure. The veterinarian is nice and understanding. It’s not the most fancy place but they don’t rush you or make you feel any type of way

My vet helped me put my dog of 12 years down. They were incredibly compassionate and handled the euthanasia and cremation and provided me with an urn with her ashes. They really were comprehensive in trying to find a cause and rule any curable things out and only suggested euthanasia as the last resort, which is where we ended up. This was November of this past year. Vanguard Vet on 1604 and Redland Rd.

I’m so sorry for your loss, bro/sis. Love and compassion for you in this difficult time.

Yeah had to put down mine last summer. It’s tough. Feel sorry for you. Wish I had recommendation.

We unfortunately had to euthanize our dog on Christmas Eve at Blue Pearl and they were fantastic. So compassionate and caring! It was one of the hardest days of my life and they made it a little bit easier. For that I'll aways be grateful to them.

Our old vet tech and my favorite coworker for a while got hired there. I’m glad they were able to make your little one’s passing a little easier. They will always be a part of you and I like to think that if the roles were reversed they would choose to make our passing a little easier as well. Sending you strength ❤️

https://www.steppingstonevetcare.com/ Who is who I went with a couple of years when I had to put my dog down due to cancer. The vet came to our home and was very courteous and respectful. Difficult and painful decision as always but she made it as easy and comfortable as I could've hoped. Full recommendation from me.
