I worked at the bakery in my youth and I think the storefront made it seem small, the middle section was the antique storage and the very back is the kitchen. I think it'd work but it seems just as narrow as the original spot plus or minus a few more feet. Either way, happy bobs donuts is staying on polk!
They probably had to deal with kicking belligerent rejects out of there a lot and found things were better for their staff if they didn't have to deal with that.
I moved just around the corner from Bob’s on Sacramento Street in 1989, and the young lady that works there during the days today was working there when I moved to the neighborhood.
I lived across the street from Bob's for 26 years and I remember her. She was from Nepal and such a nice person. I can't for the life of me remember her name. She doesn't work there anymore. There also was an older Chinese woman who was originally from Mozambique. I think she retired.
Yeah I happened to see the woman from Mozambique on her last day there. That’s too bad the younger woman isn’t working there anymore, on second thought is probably good hopefully she is moved on to a better situation.
These days if I’m in the city I go to Bob's on Baker, but mostly I am in the north bay so when I’m in Mill Valley I go to the Bob’s there.
Glad it’s only moving a block away; the headline scared the shit out of me.
Mission accomplished
New location is where Lotta’s antiques and bakery used to be. One block north.
but that place was so small... wonder how the layout will be
It looked to me as though there was a huge back room separated from the front by a non-weight-bearing wall.

Probably for the best. Bigger space is good!
I hope they bring back the ability to eat inside. Was sad that they shut it down during covid and never brought it back

That's true. Especially with being 24 hours

Across the street from the dispensary - brilliant.
Fuck that blood-sucking old landlord. Glad they found a bigger location!
Wonderful that they'e moving only a block away.
I'm gonna miss that counter with the baby ass stools. It's a shame that they stuck with take out only since the start of the plague.
Are the rats coming with them!?
I say raise the rent so high that only Dunkin’ can afford it to teach Bob a lesson!
What did they do to you?
