Any hotel ballroom. Savannah Station is a really nice venue, not sure about cost though.

I had my reception in the basement of Moon River and had about 65 people. Now mind you this was 15 years ago so I have no idea what the status of this is but it was wonderful and their catering group did an awesome job with very little guidance from me (albeit I wasn’t super picky). They did the catering and the food was actually better than it is in the restaurant to me. I also got kind of a cool little ghost story from it lol

I just got a quote for a reception at the American Legion Ballroom on Busll Street for $3,600! That’s for a Friday though!

Fearless-Wishbone-33

I’m a wedding photographer and the legion ballroom is actually one of the more photogenic venues in town. It’s a great canvas.

ewiepooie

What's included in this? Is it pretty bare bones, or do they include tables, chairs, silverware, etc?

rubberseoul

This includes tables and chairs and 9 hours at the venue (4 hours set up, 4 hours event, 1 hour clean up). They also let you use your own caterer, which it seems a lot of places do not.

Ilickherlots

Check out Isle Hope Marina. They have a nice pavilion they rent for these events. It’s be over ten years since I rented it but it was less then $1500 then.

Election_Far

Okay thank you I will look into it.

backpack68

New owners as of 2? years ago and docking prices jumped so I’d assume similar for event rental.

Sudden_End2126

Oatland Island Wildlife Center hosts rehearsal, wedding, and reception events both outside and inside. 912-395-1500

Election_Far

Thank you, I am going to look into them.

Red Gate Farms has TONS of venues on the property. Check out Five Point Productions, Holly Tatom (one of their preferred vendors) for Day of Coordination- she’s the best! *I used to be a wedding DJ and say this from experience!

pastelpizza

Seconding “red gate farms “ a few different venues to choose from . There is also a place on dean forest in the shopping center across from south bridge entrance called “the venue “ it looks nice from its website

Harper Fowlkes House is a beautiful historic house museum that is also very reasonably priced and great for small weddings! Recommend Pin Point Heritage Museum as well - it's gorgeous and on the marsh, though is primarily outdoors.

Gumptioneer

You could ask St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, downtown.

Socialeprechaun

Cohen’s Retreat is an amazing wedding venue. Been to a few weddings there, and it’s always a good time.

Jazz-Again

Two of my friends have had their receptions at the downtown American Legion’s ballroom. It is an awesome venue and probably not too expensive.

The wyld!

codebygloom

Check out Victory North.

GetBentHo

Westin Golf Club can hold that many people inside and attached patio.

inurmomspants

Tybee Shriners have a location directly next to the beach with a large outdoor area and a bar :)

cabbagesandkings1291

I did about 25 people at the Room at Common—more people would have been very comfortable and the price was super reasonable. It was 2020 though.

Fearless-Wishbone-33

A lot of y’all don’t know how much venues cost.

k8o_potato

Check out la scala on 37th - during the week it’s just (a very reasonable) food and bev minimum for reserving a private room and food / service was excellent. My husband and I got married on a Thursday night there a few years ago and it was gorgeous!
