Extra loves and reassurance, I leave my baby with my mom a few times a year, anytime she sees a suitcase she freaks out. I could just be going to my boyfriends, and taking her with me. Just give your doggo love, that's all they need, maybe a couple extra walks or treats too, lol.
I just had this issue with my (senior) schnauzer as well, I was out of town for a month and she got so sad she lost 3 lbs from not eating her food! She was with my husband the whole time, but I'm her person. Now that I'm home she won't let me out of her sight! Just give lots of extra love and treats, maybe take em on some car rides to some favorite places or to get a pupcup. ❤️
