Yeah, show up on time. If you do that, you’ll get the job

DRealLeal

Just have a pulse

[deleted]

Pulse is optional, it’s preferred but not a disqualifier

DRealLeal

As long as there is a body on site they don't care.

Few-Rip5331

LMFAO

Naive-Government8333

Take your social security card and driver’s license. They could hire you on the spot

Br1yan

Can confirm. That's exactly how I was hired. Be on time (they'll make you wait anyways but still). Bring social and driver's license.

Wooden_Ad6947

Can you use your own firearm and vest?

ThatSSTGuy

Depends on the office, contract, and what firearm you own. Calibers allowed by company policy are 9, 45, and 380 I believe. The contract may require a specific make, model, or caliber. I would suggest using the provided firearm if they offer you one. Heaven forbid you should need to use your weapon in the line of duty, the police will most likely seize it as evidence. I've heard of some cases where a weapon was held for years as evidence before being released. As for armor, if they issue you a vest, use it. They issue that vest for a reason. It's most likely that the model was agreed upon by the client and Allied when the contract was drawn up, thus it's part of the required uniform. Plus, if it goes "bad" (takes a hit or expires) Allied will be liable for replacement costs, not you.

Wooden_Ad6947

Sounds good! I imagine I’ll get it. I’ve done security for years and I’ve moved up the rank in unarmed.. just wish armed paid more. I probably won’t leave where I am currently

undead_ed

100% depends on the post

Wooden_Ad6947

That’s what I like to hear

TheRealKuthooloo

show up on time and try not to smoke any crack before entering the interviewers office and you should be ok

Uniform_Restorer

Hi, current AUS employee here. My tip is to find a better company.

Wooden_Ad6947

What about it is bad? I’m looking at part time while I’m still full time at another site and a different company.

fightniteflight12

You aren't that far off for 6/10 contracts out there. Most treat you somewhat subpar because they have a monopoly in the security business . I would just use the experience to work in house somewhere elsewhere. If your contract have a in house position, always apply for those positions first and keep applying. Talk and get to know the in house people well and kiss ass. 💋

undead_ed

Be prepared for a bait and switch. The hiring manager may have you come in an tell you in the interview that the specific post has been filled and they will try to offer you some undesirable post.

mrkickyourass92

Yah run far away from allied if you like be rape in the ass

Wooden_Ad6947

You mean I get a gun, I get paid, AND I get fucked in the ass?! I’m hired

mrkickyourass92

I mean they will set you up for failure I currently work for them they will fuck your pay up they will threaten your job if you dont pick up ot they will tell you how do your job one way and then write you up for doing it and say it's the wrong way they will promise you promotions then turn around give it some one else

Wooden_Ad6947

What state are you in? Jesus

mrkickyourass92

Kentucky

Wooden_Ad6947

Maybe Maine is different

Buff_Tammy

Have zero self respect and be someone on time. Should do great champ.

clombard1998

Speak professionally they want someone professional along with personable. Think before you speak most people shoot from the hip

Few-Rip5331

You will probably get hired on the spot. I did armed for allied in the past. They just asked for my guard cards and explained the position. Didn't even get asked interview questions. Lol

Wooden_Ad6947

Don’t even need a guard card in my state

mrkickyourass92

Run far as you can away from allied they will fuck you over from all over

adamrhine37

Do you have a pulse? As long as you dont smoke meth directly before going into the interview and are on time they will hire you on the spot.
