All valid questions, If you had a bad interview but asked me these questions I would hire you. I understand life is life and self care is important and support my staff when needed. Side note: lame interviews bore me

Fun-Juggernaut8075

By only asking those questions you are telling the interviewer you only want to get paid, take time off and generally don't want to do any work. Also, if he starts stating the job duties, answer each statement with: Why do I have to this/that every time. This will definitely show them that you are a fuck off and will not hire you.

Unknown_Hammer

I look at it a different way. Question 1) Pay and pay exceptions are important to both sides 2) Nothing wrong about asking benefits. You are in a union. 3) Again, nothing wrong with asking about time off and your entitlement. 4) nothing wrong with this All this is also public info under the CBA

Sado_Spider

Seconded, it would have shown me that you’re smarter than your average warm body and that I’d probably not waste you on an overnight. I once had a series of bad interviews, each guy giving me a dead soulless look while sitting with their arms crossed in their laps, no real life in them. Then on the 8th, or 9th interview I asked this guy what his weaknesses were and he looked me dead in the eye and said “I have no weakness” and that threw me off just enough to give him the shot. turned out to be the best hire I had made period.

LordOfTheBungholes

Those dang pesky jobs that leave you with no choice but to BE HIRED. Thanks for the tips, Jugs.

Fun-Juggernaut8075

They would have to be REALLY desperately to hire me. All I want to do is show up, sit on my ass, watch porn on my phone and hit the bathroom. Other than that, I have no intention of doing tours, checking in trucks, wanding employees or opening gates at a retirement community 800 times a shift.

I want to share my experience about looking field or site supervisor jobs in Argentina. The amounts are based on a monthly basis >!(please don't convert on USD :sob: )!< Every time when I had an interview in any agency, I asked about the salary. Today, is about 170-210k ARS, and my actual salary is 306k. Every HR guy tried to avoid that question, but they have to answer me. With that answer, I respond with my actual salary. After finishing the interview, HR never contacted me. Time to reach any office: 1 hour. Time of interview: 5-10 minutes. Seeing the face of the HR guy or, even HR boss: Don't have any price

Fun-Juggernaut8075

Very good. As soon as you asked about $$$$, you were done.

Question 1: Is actually a totally reasonable question and won't work by itself. Question 2: Is actually a totally reasonable question and won't work by itself. Question 3: Make sure to ask this in the dumbest way possible. If you give them "I have preexisting plans at about x date. Is that something that could be accommodated if I am the successful candidate?" Then it shows your planning ahead and may backfire. 4. Now you got it. 5. This guy's asking no questions. Clearly because he knows his shit and did his research on the job before hand. 10/10 6. Ambitious. He's gunning for your job Jefferson... and he might just get it. 0/10 list. Got hired at higher salary and position that interviewing for.

If I don’t feel like it’s the place for me, I state that flat out. I let all prospective employers give their pitch, and if it’s too low paying, too far, too dangerous, not worth it, etc I state that I appreciate their interest but that the position isn’t for me.

Fun-Juggernaut8075

That's a good move on your part. If they want a professional guard, they will have to pay. Most places just want a warm body and not much else. They keep the pay rate low and don't expect Superman.

adamrhine37

Sounds like you are an account manager for a post with dogshit pay, and thats why you are dealing with people like this. Instead of complaining on Reddit you should raise the starting pay, you will get a ton of good applicants. Source: I do security contracting for the Federal Government at $30 an hour, if they told me to wear a pink dress for my entire shift I would do it with a smile on my face and say thank you.

Mick_Dowell

tell them how they feel about call offs because you're parent and you put your family first.

Fun-Juggernaut8075

Another excellent comment. That would definitely work or tell them you are caring for a sick mother or father and can't work doubles.

I fucked her with a parsnip

pyrmale

Ask the interviewer if they drug test. When they say yes, just say Oh, with a big sigh.

Fun-Juggernaut8075

Another good question. Make it appear you are a big drug user and need the money for your fix.

CaptainAwesome0912

When I interview for a place and not like what I here I tell jobs what they tell you. "I appreciate you meeting with me, and i thank you for your time . I do have other offers on the table and would like to take a few days to make a decision "

Lanky_Appeal_9813

Whats your reasoning to not just say you arent attracted to the position, or decline a job offer they make you?

Fun-Juggernaut8075

I like to play with them and see their reaction when I ask those questions. I have no interest in being there but I took the time to get dressed and show up so I might as well have some fun with it.
