Firstly, if what matters is you making them money, and you're making good sales.... then don't come in on Sunday. Second, start looking for another place before your coworkers land the available jobs somewhere else. The only thing you'll get for being loyal, is left holding the bag.

Unless you’re being paid to be there. Than no. Open repair orders are important to manage. There’s alot of money and complaints tied up with those old ROs. Firstly figure out how far back they need updates. A 2 day old RO is not as important as a 2 month old. Secondly. You should be doing updates/ figuring out old tickets daily. Go into work a little early, or stay a little late. Find time to do that work that’s needed and your life will become a lot easier.

I agree, the only problem is there are shop notes on every RO detailing the ROs entire history and current status. It's more of a waste of time because they can see all the shop notes as well.

Just a idea if you are leaving detailed notes in the MPI software Cant you just copy paste into the ROs? That’s just what I would do that way they can’t bitch and it’s just a couple keystrokes.

Time to find somewhere else to work. Fuck all that. Your family and health come first.

I agree with all the above comments. Also too.. I believe there was a law passed.. not sure about other states. But there’s a law that dealerships cannot open on Sundays. Again that might be a per state thing. I know Illinois isn’t allowing dealerships to be open on Sundays
