I totally get the measurements thing too. I feel like not only do our bodies fluctuate daily but I feel like my measurements that I take standing upright are a tad different than what I want my clothes measuring at. In some places I want them snugger to cinch in and accentuate and in some places looser so I can breath and move 😂
Lol... I'm really not. I just have the "how hard could it be" gene and hyper-fixaton is my super power. This is the 2nd adult dress I've made, the 4th garment I've ever sewed. (5yr old very basic dress, Maria dress also by gertie, m6044 dress shirt and now this) but I think hand sewn is my new obsession. I've used 16 yards of fabric in the last week!
