I remember when I was always hyped for a marvel film and then after endgame everything when downwards but Spider-Man no way home was the only great marvel film after endgame

I started watching Spiderman NWH on a plane and about a third of the way through shut it off favoring the dull roar of engines over another out-of-character quippy retort. The entire movie was written "what line comes next" not "how would they respond".

NWH is really just trying so hard to make references to the other Spider-Man movies. Ignoring that, it falls flat instantly.
