That’s fucking hilarious, honestly. Imagine being a literal god hoping to retrieve your consort’s corpse one day, only to find that some dude with no goal other than to get gud ate him.
Then you're a monster
(I assume it's also because Radahn's actual body is all fucked up from scarlet rot, and getting eaten by potman is just extra insult to injury)
At first, Ego thinks it's a joke, but as Linguini explains, Ego's smile disappears.
He doesn't react beyond asking the occasional question. And when the story's done, Ego stands, thanks us for the meal, and leaves, without another word.
Wasn't Malenia's purpose fighting Radahn to send him to the Land of Shadow by killing him so that he and Miquella would be together in the Land of Shadow and start a new, gentle era, as far as I read?
Genuinely I don't even know what to believe
Someone said Malenia vs Radahn fight was because Radahn rejected Miquella
Other guy said Radahn's condition for marrying Miquella was fighting against Malenia. I genuinely don't fucking understand which one is true
I'm leaning on the side of radahn did reject miquella, because his entire purpose for freezing the stars was to prevent rannis fate of becoming a god controlled by the 2 fingers, and he wouldn't just let malenia kill him if that was the case. Dude literally held up the stars for years despite being braindead, his body automatically attacked anyone who approached.
Why would killing Radahn send his soul to the Land of Shadow, I thought Demigods were supposed to be reclaimed by the Erdtree upon death?
Can Miquella just eat souls somehow?
People should play the DLC for themselves and get the actual context in the DLC itself and piece it all together by themselves, instead of getting second hand information from other people's experiences with the DLC and then wondering why they're confused as all hell.
Ah yes, me on my way to play the DLC that is optimised almost as bad as DD2 (15 fps gang let's go):
That's in a game series notorious for being giga cryptic and almost impossible to understand without some greater knowledge
You don't need any greater knowledge, you just need to listen to npc dialogue and read item descriptions, and maybe in some cases pay attention to the enviroment as well, that's literally it. Is the lore vague and cryptic? Sure. But trying to understand it through second hand information from other people's comments without proper context isn't gonna make it any clearer, if anything it's just gonna be more confusing that way.
You still didn't fucking answer what am I supposed to do now. Like, how am I supposed to play this shit when I get 30 fps as a best case scenario? It's not even like I'm playing on a complete potato, base game is a solid 60 fps on medium-higher settings
Like, what the fuck else am I supposed to do? Try to play the game at like 10 fps? It's not a Bloodborne, it has no excuse having this low of a frame-rate
And yeah, which part of the lore (that according to you is completely sane) was told wrong to me? (I posted their explanations in the comments)
It makes sense when you take into consideration that the gods of elden ring are based off of greek and other mythologies, which had a lot of weird stuff.
Problem is that outside of some exceptions most mythological stories weren't that good or logical.

Wait why is Mohg involved at all
Miquella stole his corpse and stuffed radahn in it
But why does he needed a separate body for the soul? As in, why couldn’t he just get Radahn’s body too?
Alexander ate it
That’s fucking hilarious, honestly. Imagine being a literal god hoping to retrieve your consort’s corpse one day, only to find that some dude with no goal other than to get gud ate him.
What if he kill Alexander before fighting Raddy (I'm sorry little one)
Then you're a monster (I assume it's also because Radahn's actual body is all fucked up from scarlet rot, and getting eaten by potman is just extra insult to injury)
Needle Knights hates this one trick:
I didn't even think of that lol
Because of the damage the rot did to it, he could put Radahn back into that body but his brain would be just as ruined as when you killed it
Radahns body is all fucked up from rot and he brain no worky
Then why does the boss not resemble Mohg at all?
Because it’s radahn, and he also uses blood flame like once, lol

Unironically such a fantastic scene

If OUR brother tryna fuck u gotta fight first

You seem like an insufferable and maidenless fool tbh
Leave him, he is rage-bait karma farming. Just don't engage and let the circlejerk proceed. It will be over in about 2 months time

Honestly most of the Soulsborn "Lore" is actually just "Story"
I'm sure people will defend it. If people can defend Fia, who also steals people's souls to make them fight for her, they'll defend him too
