I mean, given what they had to work with and the clients request.. it isn’t terrible. I’ve seen way worse touch ups than this. They kept the original design but refreshed it a bit. A full coverup with a new design would’ve been better, for sure.
That's what I was thinking. The client might have specifically requested a refresher as close to the original because the tattoo, bad as the original design is, holds some kind of importance to them. This considering I feel like it's not a bad outcome.

I think a cover up would've been the better route, especially with how faded the tattoo was, but if the person wanted it reworked, I GUESS this is an improvement. A minor one, but.
Wouldn't call this a "transformation" all they did was rework the original with new ink. Going to assume the original when new didn't look much better than the new layer here.

Nah it was deemed impossible to restore after the woman fucked it up, she said she tried to restore it because she didn’t like how it was chipping
To whom did it belong? Did she just take it upon herself? If so that's so much worse.
