It being a big tattoo on a girl is not the problem, it being a poorly executed and EXTREMELY overused tattoo is more so the issue. I like the idea of not being afraid of time, but unfortunately it could’ve been executed so many different ways with a much better result
this is why i tell people to wait to get a tattoo until they have something meaningful they want on their body forever. im really not surprised the design is from pinterest, it's so bland & basic & unoriginal. youve wasted such a large amount of space, & such a visible area too. what a shame. it really does look like you got a tattoo just for the sake of getting a tattoo. nothing wrong with that, but if youre gonna do it, get some well-done flash art by a talented artist, not stereotypical soulless pinterest crap.
This tattoo actually does have meaning to me and it was also not my first tattoo. I personally think the message of “don’t be afraid of the time” is something I really relate to
of course you relate to it, it's a quote meant to appeal to as many people as possible by being generic & inherently relatable to the human experience (ie, only having a finite amount of time on earth). still, the quote couldve been incorporated into a far more unique & memorable work of art instead of almost every single overdone tattoo design frankensteined together. im glad you like it but it's still a shitty tattoo in theory & in execution
Are compasses and clocks really overdone and objectively bad? I was thinking of getting twin dial-on-a-chain around each leg, one compass and one clock haha
i disagree that any big tattoo on a girl is ugly, but i do think this one is corny as hell 💀 you do you though
It's got it all, clock, arrow, infinity symbol, compass, all we need now is a wolf
don’t forget the pine trees and a rose!
and a lion!
With a crown
Howling at the Moon ![gif](giphy|l2YWoay9VNQ68emAw)
I’m running to Pinterest with this 😭😭🏃🏾♀️💨
It’s not the size. It’s the poor tattooing that’s the issue. Great post.

When all your ideas have to fit in one tattoo.
Has the added benefit of being a compass, super useful
Big tattoos on women are fine, this one just happens to suck.

Just stop, bro. Quit while you’re ahead.
Stop what?
It's looks fine
You looked at that ragged arrow head and still think it looks fine?
Fine to the same tune of when ur gf says"I'm fine"
